  1. For anyone with an Android device who was waiting, This is about as good as it gets for one of the best smart watches to come out so far. http://www.woot.com Review link of the device:
  2. Always fun when people play on 270... Had some fun with a TC the other day on 270 over by Easton. Thought he was crazy with all the cops over there, but we got lucky and have some fun all the way up to Sunberry.
  3. This has always bugged me as well... I know Tesla had a plan to implement more charging stations. I wanna know how many more they plan to add when when they will be implemented.
  4. Looks like a great car, I hope you enjoy it man
  5. The Studebaker Champion that showed up at the end was a real treat! Still can't believe it had 18k original miles being a 51. Really great turn out for what the weather was.

  7. All of my WHAT!?! The officer has no idea if that guy has a gun in his pocket or not and at that range both people are going to get hurt or killed. I'm sorry, but that guy should have been shot for 1. Charging the officer 2. Having his hand in his pocket, and 3. Asking to be shot. You simply can't take a risk like that in real life. Yes, the officer showed extreme restraint in that situation but the guy could have pulled a handgun out real fast and put a few rounds in that officer had he actually had a gun in his pocket. I don't want to see anyone die or get hurt, but the media has really given cops a bad reputation and it makes me sick. Are there good cops that follow the law? yes! are there corrupt and bad cops? You bet your ass! but there are good and bad people in every profession out there and cops are no different. Cops are not just some "gang" as you put it that run around and do whatever they want. I know quite a few officers down at the police academy near the fairgrounds who bust their ass everyday to help people and try to do the right thing. I am extremely insulted by you calling the Police the "biggest gang in the US". Someone correct me if i'm wrong here, but I always thought officers were trained to take a situation one step above with the suspect is attempting at that moment. "force continuum" I believe is what it was called. Could not agree with this more!
  8. I'll have $20 with me on Saturday Clay! http://i1.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/facebook/000/264/200/acb.jpg
  9. I find the idea of remote disabling a vehicle both interesting and frightening at the same time. This article is the most recent case I know if where OnStar was able to help disable a stolen vehicle (leaving out the part where it hit a pole). I think that it really does help people when used properly, but you know someone will exploit it at some point to "hack" someones car and make it crash or shut down. I cannot find the article but I remember reading about this device you can get for $50 overseas that could potentially allow you to walk up to a car that's not yours and unlock it remotely as if you had the key. If something like that exists then it makes me wonder how soon someone will make a remote "killswitch" for a car? Kind of an open question to anyone in the auto electronics world, but in theory how easy would it be to remotely shut off a car without OnStar? Does anything else exist out there in the electronics world? I'm curious now. I like the drone idea... maybe they could toss a bunch of little infrared reflectors on the stolen car, similar to what the military uses to mark targets in the night?
  10. While watching this entire video I was thinking about OnStar as well. Correct me if i'm wrong, but I could have swore we already had the ability to remotely turn off some vehicles on the road if not most that have come out in the last few years. The micro EMP would be nice but how hard would that be to create and control so it does not fry something else by mistake?
  11. One option I ran for a long time was a USB-TV tuner stick in my laptop with Windows Media Center on Windows 7. Basically turns your desktop or laptop into a DVR that you can save and transfer to any Windows based system. I know this is a little off topic but I felt like I would just throw it out there as an option. I used this ATI stick all the time to record and watch live TV on my laptop. setup was easy and it worked great when I told it to record when I was out.
  12. Not surprising in the slightest. The LocationFree player (at the time) was way to expensive at $350 and many people never saw the need for it in 2004. The newest model is the LF-V30 which I have never owned so I would know little about its physical features and capability. You can pick one up on Amazon right now with Prime for $35 here . At that price It is hard to beat but keep in mind that NETAV was shut down a long time ago which allows this thing to stream TV and DVD/BLU-RAY players outside your home. I have never used a VPN with one of these, but they do have an internal settings menu that you can access via an IP address similar to any other modem in your house. the settings can be fully customized as well like static IP, AP name, and VPN should be in there. I will check mine when I get home to confirm but I can't see any reason why this thing would not work internally with a VPN. My only other word of caution is that Sony has not only discontinued this product, but they are also no longer supporting it anywhere. If you want the newest tech then the Slingbox is the way to go for sure. Just want you to get whats right for you =D
  13. Never did get into DOTA or DOTA 2. I always did like the DOTA 2 community a lot more then I did the LOL community. The client was so much better in DOTA 2 then the PoS Adobe Air client that Riot uses. Overall I have nothing against DOTA other than it being a little more complicated then LOL and less forgiving. Though I like to think I am more "pot committed" with league with over 4000+ games played and a more of my own money spent then I would like to admit that I could never switch at this point.
  14. I don't own a Slingbox, but I do have the Sony version called a LocationFree Player. (info on product here) The base station I own is still kicking and working today, even after Sony shut down NETAV which was their online streaming server that allowed you to stream TV outside your network. This means that you can watch TV wireless on any Windows XP-7 machine at home, but you will not be able to stream over the internet outside your home anymore. you can usually find an LF-PK1 (first generation device) on eBay for about $40-80 if you are only interested in internal home use. To answer your original question, I mainly used mine for watching NHL games on the go and the occasional movie here and there. I have always found them to be convenient if both the connection you are using outside your home and the connection in your home can handle the streaming. I could not speak directly for Slingbox, but my LocationFree player never effected the bandwidth in my home because the box acted as an access point by itself so our internet speeds were never used when watched internally, however when watching outside our home the upstream speeds did take a hit when watching anything at a high resolution. I would without a doubt check your upload/download speed before making any purchase if you plan on watching your TV outside your home to avoid headaches. This is copied directly from Slingbox's website for their requirements with a PRO-HD: HD Streaming: Network connectivity of 1.5 Mbps or higher SD Streaming: Network connectivity of 384 Kbps or higher Mobile Streaming: 150 Kbps or higher
  15. I have been playing since the Alpha (got my invite on the second week). Being a long time LoL player this was relatively simple to get into. It is hard to find good players because people always neglect map objectives... VERY frustrating! Feel free to add me on bnet if any of you ever want to play. ShowHBK#1157 I also play WoW and Hearthstone almost everyday if anyone plays those as well.
  16. $5,000,000 home... Posts 338x225 images with bad Photoshop work on them. Hell, Pay me $15 and i'll do a better job in MSpaint Very nice home, 10/10 would live in.
  17. I felt like I did ok. My best of the day was a 44.120 and I felt like I could do better. It was great meeting you all and I had a great time learning from everyone there. I will be back for sure once I get some new break rotors because I may or may not have ruined mine after one day, haha. Great event! Very glad I came. http://lh5.googleusercontent.com/MXnllicfD6r6xVxzhKWc3roi_c-TDvMWqWI9GpvuOk3vCpUyJEeDpv3C8_7G3wMq8MgjdKOv_AvZO2A=w1656-h845 http://lh5.googleusercontent.com/wOP3Xd5wnIe7KRySDUOSxscS_3VxwA_PZQdt37ackHOtk437ulhDKNeW1k-L-Tx3WkiJWS5O16qvUlU=w1656-h845 http://lh4.googleusercontent.com/H7yhFz4UcFUcWYVLjxtVTizhfd3DGYSAdPE2dadIhfEG47_-3aU7MR0r-f5EJrdlrKTUD9COj_YzO_g=w1656-h845
  18. Decent quality. I found a really good 1080p Blu-Ray rip the other night. I really did enjoy this movie for what it was. Thanks for the link
