smooshability factor is related to vehicle size. on a motorcycle a dog is not smooshable. in my truck, its most definitely smooshable.

here is some info that may help you. the last 2 numbers are the fork diameter in MM. so if it says CL0048, thats a 48mm fork. you could find what fits your yoke. sorry its not more recent. seems like 05/06 are the newest listed. another option is to find a whole front end from another bike, and have a spacer machined so that its yoke fits your steering neck. you will need to do some maths to make sure that the geometry remains the same, or that the change in rake/trail is acceptable to you.
