  1. So, it can start and run in a driveway, or... you could count on it to make an hour+ drive?
  2. I would absolutely buy a compact tractor with as many attachments as I could afford to maintain 4-7 acres. Whether or not I bought a zero turn later on would determine how long it takes to mow with the tractor. I mow a little over 2 with a 54" garden tractor, and it goes pretty quick, but top speed of the tractor blows. Gravel drive?
  3. Great set up. Worth the extra $$ over an entry-level.
  4. Got a tv, larger tube tv. just upgraded to lcd. 29 inch or so... pic tonight if ur interested.

    Missing Plane

So, this pilot has, let's say, strong political and religious ties (yes, MUCH more fanatical than normal). He attends an opposition leader's trial a few hours before the flight. His home is searched the day of the incident, only to learn his wife and 3 kids were moved out the day before the flight. Walks like a duck...
  6. Nice, but that's no Mean Streak I put a lot of 1000's of miles on my Kawasaki cruiser and never needed more than tires and fresh oil. Happy trails.
  7. Tim, where is the property? Not in Z-ville, is it?
  8. Yeah, I bet I will ever pay for a permit to replace a water heater. Nonsense. Nonsense that people are getting way too used to.
  9. I'll ask the silly question. Wouldn't you rather deal with a smell, than to drink bleach? I've been on well water for a decade and never even thought of doing this (out of ignorance).
  10. We'll realize later (if you haven't already) just how freaking cold and long this Winter was.

    Bee Keepers?

I'll take a dozen bumblebee stings before a damn hornet. Worst childhood memory ever.
  12. Free bump for you. I sold off all my MKIIIs, and shouldn't have. Like last time, let me know if you want to separate the gun from the ammo...
  13. As stated - old signage. Carry on, don't drink, you'll be fine.
  14. Did you even look into how much it would have cost you to have the fender painted? It couldn't have been much.
  15. I won't lie. I got goosebumps.
  16. Send me details... thanks.
  17. I'm wanting firsthand info and reviews on steel targets you guys have used. Largest I'll be hitting them with is .45 out of a 1911. I want something I buy once and only need to reapply paint. What brands or materials or websites did you order from? Anyone looking to sell some? I was shooting into a sheet of "some" thickness for years with 22's and some 9's. The 9 made tiny dimples. Since shooting a lot of 45, I can poke a hole if I hit the same spot 8-10 times... I need to upgrade. I don't mind spending some cash, but need opinions.
  18. I disagree about the slide-out. We have 3 kids and were fine in a non-slide out. I'd say go cheap your first year until you're sure you enjoy it. You can always upgrade the next year.
  19. We bought a 25' last year. Four bunks in the back, queen bed in the front. Full restroom w/ shower. Full kitchen. Two doors; full awning. I would not suggest anything smaller than 25'. We had < $3000 in it and it was great shape. $5000 should buy you about anything you want in a starter RV.
