if you need a ring compressor get one from any parts store or hardware store, there are two styles one with handles (kinda looks like a oil filter wrench) and the other is a sleeve with a crank on it thats turned with a allen wrench... CC is good they do a lot of work for the local dealerships in columbus, you can also try Fowlers Engines there number is 258-2924

exactly change the heads and put a cam in it and you will be good to go and you will be very happy. i have never seen anyone change suspension on third gens because of this motor install...

could possibly be a head gasket or a cracked head, you should see what the oil looks like before we keep guessing for you. But just for a reference if its rings it should be in the neigborhood of $2800 and up

head gaskets only take about 8 hours if you dont have any warped heads or cracked heads...i just did two 3.8 motors last month. i was told there where going to be hard but man that was an easy car to do. matt like these guys said, they have all told you thing that i have already told you, if you get fuel injection put back on it give me a call and i will get ahold of cogossi and he will come out and tune it , remember know one knows more about mustangs then him...
