  1. Landmine the border. Problem solved. God this kind of shit pisses me off. I would have killed the fucker right then and there.
  2. LOL. I thought he meant a 'Honda diesel-powered vehicle'. I was trying to figure out if Honda ever made a diesel vehicle for the States.
  3. Spring swap was like $5 or $10 admission and parking was 5 or 10.
  4. Dave - any idea if the seatbelts/retractor assemblies are the same in coupes and 'verts? My seatbelts are rather worn and just look crappy.
  5. $2/gal+ gas prices and the fact that the manufacturers are/were offering steep discounts on brand new SUVs/trucks has a lot to do with it. The sales the manufacturers had absolutely KILLED the resale value of used trucks and SUVs.
  6. 70s - 1970 Boss 429 80s - Ferrari Testarossa 90s - Any 300ZX TT or any E38 BMW 750iL (tie)
  7. Ok - McDonalds right off the 17th avenue exit next to the fairgrounds like last time? Saturday or Sunday? I'm thinking Saturday is better so all of the stuff won't be completely picked over.
  8. I would jump all over it, except I can't park non-running cars at my house and I don't want to park the new truck outside. Damn, I need a bigger garage.
  9. Anyone going to this? I think I am in for it, since I now have the Fox vert. http://www.unitedfordowners.com/Flyers/Current_Swap_Flyer.pdf
  10. Matt, how difficult is the TC rear to a mustang? one of the things on my todo list it to upgrade the rear to an 8.8 unit and go with disc brakes.
  11. Derek - west side of Columbus - off of Georgesvilly road.
  12. Heheh. I know. One of the reasons boosted cars are fun.
  13. Update. Didn't by the T-bird - found an 89 LX convertible with an 88 turbocoupe swap motor in it. I know this car doesn't have as much power as the 99 Cobra I just traded in, but it seeems to get up and move pretty well at 10psi, and that turbo spooling sound is soo cool! What is the rev limit on the 2.3L turbos? 5500RPMS? Car has a K&N filter on it, any other good cheap mods I should make? I need to pull and check the plugs. How does one tell if the distributor rotor and plug wires should be replaced?
  14. In the spirit of CR.com, would you take $125,00 for it? Nice place and the garage is fabulous. My dream someday.
  15. Good deal - aren't the T-top options kind of rare? Damn...I don't need two Mustangs...
  16. And the stuff doesn't get sold at that price. Pay attention. Have you gotten $2200 out of that truck from anyone on here? Sorry for cluttering up your thread, John. At least we are keeping it at the top.
  17. Ferris, who was the seller? Share with the rest of us. FWIW, I had an Infinity 12" Reference series in my wife's old car and it did a pretty nice job.
  18. Or maybe he didn't know where else to look, you think? This sort of explains it all: $800 for a set of used Bullitt wheels. LMFAO. I'm sure there is some sucker out there that will buy them for that much, but they won't be members of this board.
  19. Thanks guys - I think I'm going to rent a trailer anyhow, but if Uhaul doesn't have any available then I'll just drive it back.
  20. LOL. Not to be a dick, but don't bullshit the guy. He can go to http://www.corral.net or svtperformance.com and find bullit wheels w/tires (for a lot less than $800) all day. John: http://www.corral.net/forums/search.php?searchid=2164005
  21. Well, if the deal I'm working on in Kentucky falls through, I may have to hit you up. Why o why does this always happen! (What are you getting?)
  22. Out of curiosity, how much power does this car put down if you shoudn't be driving it in the wet (or cold)?
  23. Thanks, Mark. I'm not clear on what you mean by transport document, but I think I see what you mean - car is registered in Kentucky, but the plates are for an Ohio car of some sort. The police might not like that if they run the plates. Do you get those tags from the state where the vehicle is located or are ohio ones good?
  24. So, I take it this would be a poor car to drive in the winter?
  25. It's still a colt... Very nice, JP. You seem to be the master of 'fast on the cheap.' Nice, indeed.
