  1. That is some CRAZY shit. I had no idea about that side of Japan. EDIT: Did anyone see his 'doing battle with toilets' post? http://www.demonbaby.com/blog/2005/08/doing-battle-with-japanese-toilets-and.html
  2. Spaceghost - what kind of gas mileage does an STI get? I would think turbo cars would do pretty well as long as your not in boost.
  3. Hmmmmm...I could pull 4 of the injectors out of the cobra and drive on 4 cylinders. Fucking $1 increase in 4 damn months. Fucking bullshit.
  4. Woowwwooo. I thought maybe Anthony had gotten tired of running a forum and just decided not to do it anymore after it crashed. Thanks for you generosity Ben and Anthony.
  5. From what I understand, the superchargers on those things come from the factory pretty much maxed out. Pulleying them down won't do much good because it will just generate more hot air. I'm curious as to what kind of innards they have? cast pistons and powdered rods, or good forged stuff?
  6. For the new rider course, you use their bikes. I believe the ERC (Experience Rider Course) they may let you use your own bike.

    CO stunners?

And if you knew how to ride, you would ride in places OTHER than the freeway and parking lots. Poser. Send it to DJ!!!
  8. Is there a california fitness on the Westside? My wife *might* be interested...
  9. I thought you said you bought a bike?!?! Sounds more like you got a tricked out couch. (j/k). The riding season is only half over. September and most of August left. October is still nice at times and if you have the right gear, November is doable, too.
  10. No worries. I waited about 15 minutes and figured something happened, so I headed home - I was VERY tired so it worked out for the best.

Negative. This HAS to be true because Mustangs never lose.
  12. Congrats. I hope you plan on performing the 'oil changes' yourself...
  13. Is that an actual paint job on the car? It looks like something that was just pulled out of the Scioto River.
  14. Bryan, I forgot to ask the same question as damreds. I am assuming they are sticky on the backside? Or else, is there another way of applying vinyl?
  15. Ben, where do you want to meet up at? Shell on Polaris?
  16. I wear the Nitro Matrix boots. They are comfortable and are wearing well. http://www.ironpony.com/ironponydirect/productPagedetailsBrand.asp?ImageName=NITROMATRIXBOOT.JPG&Kitkey2=MATRIX%20BOOT&Brand=NITRO&Class2=Footwear>&Class3=Street%20Boots-Mens&Class1=
  17. Bryan, the entire area is 34 1/2" wide by 3 1/2 inches tall. However only 30 inches of it is actually available for lettering. The top left/top right corners aren't actually square, they curve out to the bottom. If you make the snakes and letters fit in a 30 inch wide area and leave 2 1/2 inches are so of overage on each side, I can trim it down.
  18. Let TJ know - he was all hot and bothered about the C5 he looked at. I'd like to see his reaction to this one.
  19. If I have someone to hang out with, I'll go.
  20. Yes, that part is smooth. I'm thinking it will be easier to apply if it is laid out on a background. I'll get measurements when I get home.
  21. I was thinking a charcoal gray background with white snakes/lettering, but now that I think about it...gray snakes + white lettering sounds cool also. Would they be separate pieces (eg, each letter separate and the snakes separate) or printed on a clear piece of vinyl? Sorry about my ignorance on the subject.
  22. I got my Fieldsheer Mesh Jacket from here: http://www.brocktoncycle.com Their fiedlsheer stuff is on closeout.
  23. Bryan, would it be possible to get decal made for the rear bumper on my car? I'll have to get measurements, but it would look like this: http://www.graphic-express.com/ford_windshield_cobra.htm I have a newer style Cobra and the decal would go in that area below where it says 'Mustang' - you can see the area that I am talking about in this picture: http://www.bobwhitedecals.com/Products/9903Decals/LVBO.html I'm thinking charcoal gray and white lettering (the car is red). Thanks, Larry
  24. I went down to McConellesville and road 'the Triangle' as I call it - 555 to 78 to 377 to 555 back to 78. All I can say is WOW. 555 between route 37 and 78 was simply awesome. No gravel whatsoever, and elevation changes out the ying yang (some VERY severe, like a 2nd gear hill climb) and probably 5-8 90 degree left/right curves (marked 20 mph) and a number of others marked 35 (or unmarked at all). Most of these turns were cambered properly as well, so you really ended up leaned over. 78 was also GREAT - some very fast sweepers as well as a couple of hard turns and the road is newly paved. 377 would have been more fun but there patches of gravel kicked up by passing vehicles. Otherwise the road was in excellent shape and offered a lot of turns. 55 Between 377 and 78 had some gravel on it but numerous elevation changes and curves. Because of the gravel and the fact I am not familiar with it I couldn't really attack it. Most of the curves were somewhat blind (due to hills and trees), and almost none were marked with 'suggested speeds'. If you ever take this portion of 555, be VERY careful because there were a couple of blind, unmarked 90 degree turns - you come over a hill and it was into an immediate 90 degree. If I had been going at a decent rate, that would have gotten very ugly. I left my house at about 10:30 (from Georgesville Road) and arrived in the area at probably 12:30 or so. I went through Lancaster then went off 37 through Bremen and picked up Marietta Road (which was fairly nice although it too had a lot of gravel in places), then went to 13 and got back on 37 which I followed to 555. Spent about 2 hours riding in the area and took a break at Burr Oak to eat then headed home and got back about 4:45. BTW, these roads are two lane country roads - the threat of police enforcement is pretty minimal because it's all farmland, and, frankly, they are twisty enough that you really won't have time to break the speed limit that often. I'm sore but happy. Total round trip was probably 250 miles. If anyone wants to go down in the future, I'm up for it.
