could still be blocking most of the rows. i had a 96' vette in the shop a month or so ago that was hot in and out but when we put a clear hose on it to watch the flow there was hardly anything and someone just replaced the water pump on that too with a NAPA one. well needless to say we put another pump on and problem solved on the flow part and back flushing fixed the heat part.

its only 600 ft/lbs. if you read it closely it says it will loosen a bolt tightned to 1000 ft/lbs.
