i leave my lights on from about 8am to 11pm, i had to work up to that though. my 75g tank was easy to get up to being that long, but my 45g i had crazy hair algie problems thats taken a long time to get rid of.
you know i forgot all about it. i have the part number right here and i'll be at the shop tomorrow putting my headers on so i will check and get back to you.
nope it won't work in a fresh water tank. and it won't get rid of algae because well.....it is algae. in a marine system it helps keep Nitrates and Nitrites in check. i have to cut it down every week or so because it grows so fast.
to help with your algae problems turn your lights off sooner, cutting the time in half to get it to go away helps alot. and do 20% water changes every week or 2 weeks to help get rid of waste in the water that the algae feeds off of.
98-05 for under 1k. would like just a decent body and don't care if has an engine or transmission in it or not. i have something special i want to build and i want that car to do it. anyone have a lead on one sitting somewhere?
or i have a 2005 KTM SX250F that i will trade for a running one with a good body. bike is worth $2500-3000
a baggie of cheato? i know there are a few of them on here, $15 for a sandwich bag full. if you have to ask i don't think you need it as its for saltwater tanks.
i'm pondering looking for a job in the aftermarket performance world. currently an ASE Master Certified tech working at Chevy with an ass ton of GM training. would idealy like to be working on american muscle cars and newer GM cars since thats what i know the most about. if anyone has a foot in the door at GM that would be even better.
anyone have any leads? there is a certin amount of money i would need to leave so thats also an issue. as long as where i'm at or more then i'd be good to go.
