Guy's we dont ALL have to weigh in on the SAME sunday. lets make it the weekend of the 20th and 21st. Gives everyone 2 days to make it to whom ever is hosting the weigh in. I vote: -20$ buy in -12 weeks long, 1 weigh in every 3 weeks -sully to be in charge of it, he seem's to have the best idea's and said he was willing. -Anthing goes just short of using speed, or this Optifast thing. -No timestamped pictures and proof of date etc., if someone would like to monitor their progress leave it up to them to take photos of themselves. The more difficult and complex this get's the less likely people will want to join. what do you guys think? Last, what the hell is optifast?

All good and valid points. What about adding another weigh in or 2 in the middle to show progress? over a 12 week period meet once every 4 weeks for weigh in. Just for comparison how many other people entered the last one? if the pot is big enough maybe we could add a smaller prize for 2nd place. of course this wouldn't make sence if there were only 10 or so people in the competition but if there's 40 people that's a Grand large, split it up to the top 2 or 3 and make more enticing for people to join.

I was at Cols. Gold 2 weeks ago. Traveling Westbound on Bethel the guy was doing approximatly 50 mph through the intersection hit a lightpole in front of CG, the a fire hydrant, across the grass lawn in front of platinum, then hit the sign to Giant Eagle's gas station where he came to a stop, no brake lights, full throttle the whole way. My brother saw the whole thing, we were both sober and the first one's to the scene with our friend who was off duty CPD at the time showed up, he was in front of Platinum at when it happened, another platinum customer showed up he happend to be a doctor, took athey pulled him from the car fearing it was leaking gasoline and could ignite. Doc made him lie down and ll his vitals, the guy was fine. Wasted drunk but fine. few scratchs and cuts but not gory blood of anything. We got the guys cell and found 'dad' in his phone book, that's one call I hope I never get. Had the Sign post not stoped his explorer sport he would headed directly into the gas pumps. Its strange when your in that position, you know what to do, call 911 inform them of everything you saw/know and keep a cool head about it. But when your there doing it, its just second nature. In 5 minutes that place was swarming with CPD and Ambulance's.

Mikehaze touched on it but i think someone should say that it's not so much of giving up the comforts of life as we know it, "living in grass huts" etc... but to make what we have work more efficiently. You save money and energy buy better insulating your home, you save gas, energy and money by making sure your car's tires of properly inflated and it's in good running order.It's the little stuff. No one is saying give up on these so called 'luxuries' of life, just make them work better, it will help you and help everyone else in the long run. But do you honestly think there isn't a better way to heat your home? a better way to provide transportation? a better way to use renewable resource's rather than fossil fuels in every day life? Yes there is but until legislation and government are going to press on industries to FIND a better way they are going to give you what ever way will make them the most money. And opposing Al Gore doesn't make anyone a moron, not being informed and refusing to see the truth for yourself makes you a moron.

I'm starting to realize the older I get the more my parents can't afford what I really want. I told my mom this year to just buy for the kids and get me something small, this year my big purchase will be a sportbike and the only other thing I could think of that was even remotely cheaper was a DLP rear projection tv, New computer, or possibly rims for my car... all of which are too expensive. So I got clothes, all of which were 1 size too big and a small shopping spree at Hockey Stop which i will use for a new facemask, bearing's and a stick.

They have the same deal as other strip clubs when it comes to underage, higher cover and you have to buy and wear a tshirt that says your underage and can't drink, wristbands and X's on each hand etc... I haven't been there in a while but last i heard it was like 30 for a "membership" and 20 for the underage tshirt? seem's expensive but if your not buying drinks it maybe worth it. I would think good warm wool socks, wool retains heat up to 80% even when soaking wet. Nice i thought about getting one before i bought my jetta. Price and opportunity got me to switch. Even a year or two old those things are still dirt cheap and really nice for the price.
