  1. I thought that entire segment of the movie was cut and pasted right from Superman. And when they're in China and he gives the bomb to the guy to get it away from the city... ok, OPTIMUS CAN FUCKING FLY, why not grab that fucker and fly away with it?! But instead the guy takes the bomb and goes to the roof of a building with it.... huh?!
  2. oh and if youre only looking at diesels be careful of the 200-2004/5 duramax diesels, apparently they had some injector issues, which costs upwards of $5000 to get fixed, out of warranty of course. Have no idea why swapping out injectors would be so expensive but thats just what Ive read.

I found this one yesterday and was tempted, but its "too much truck" for what i need... http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?zip=43016&endYear=2015&fuelCodes=DSL&listingType=used&driveCodes=AWD4WD&engineCode=8CLDR&listingTypes=used&maxPrice=24000&mmt=%5BCHEV%5B%5D%5B%5DFORD%5B%5D%5B%5DDODGE%5B%5D%5B%5D%5D&vehicleStyleCodes=TRUCKS&photosOnlyActual=true&driveCode=AWD4WD&makeCode2=FORD&showcaseOwnerId=54548782&startYear=1981&makeCode1=CHEV&engineCodes=8CLDR&maxMileage=100000&searchRadius=25&makeCode3=DODGE&listingId=372961698&Log=0
  4. Our guide said the same thing. If we come back for the Gauley try and do it in the fall and ask for a 4 person raft (5 with the guide). Apparently they're a lot more fun. Oh and we didnt lose anyone all day. There were a few times where we though some people might get popped out but it wasnt too bad. They kept reiterating the need to continuously paddle. I guess when rookies get out there they tend to freeze and stop paddling but that's the worse thing you can do. I would think with a more challenging river you'd paddle more but i guess not. And yeah my biggest fear was going over in a huge rapid, fighting current and getting a foot stuck under a rock.
  5. In case anyone was considering going and has yet to try it... do it. Me and a few friends went last weekend to West by god Virginia to New River Gorge and had a blast. We went through a company called Adventures on the Gorge (highly recommended). They call themselves a "resort" with all out door activities but their prices don't reflect the "resort" name. Beer was about $3-3.50 a bottle (on par with most Cbus bars), food wasnt too expensive either. We camped to save some money and had a great time. This was my first time white water rafting and it was awesome. We did the half day trip down New River, 23 rapids, three of which were level 5. I think the water level may have been low bc they didn't seem too difficult. We also had an awesome guide who did everything from talk about the history of the land and neighboring towns to make fun of the slack-jawed locals. There were more Deliverance jokes than we could count. All in all i highly recommend both the area and the company we used. If anyone decides to go ask for your guide to be McFly (doubt that's his real name but whatever). I want to go back next year but go on the Gauley river after they let the dam open up, its suppose to be a crazy ride.
  6. Saw this sunday. I'll admit i like dumb, big budget, summer blockbuster movies but even I thought it was fucking horrible. Nothing good about this movie. Plot sucked, I didnt expect much from the story but even that blew and for the love of god the fucking retarded one liners all throughout the damned movie were SO BAD. "My face is my warrant".... KILL YOURSELF. Don't waste your money and sure as shit don't waste your time.
  7. So I'm looking at trucks and I found one that I like but it only has a 4.3 V6. Has anyone had any experience with these in other vehicles or in trucks? Would it be a total turd in a full size pickup? The truck is a 2011 GMC Sierra WT standard cab, 8ft bed, 4x4. While I'm assuming it would be better in gas (which is a plus) I'm a bit apprehensive the truck would be a slug. Thanks fellas.
  8. I was the same way. I don't really have a lot of opportunity to "legally" carry on a daily basis but the way I look at it, you are exercising your right to do so even if you don't actually do so. Of course more training and education can never hurt. Technically its not your "job" / responsibility at all, but in the eyes of the law you can use deadly action to protect not only yourself but others as well. Protection of life and property if I remember it correctly. At least in the state of Ohio as far as I'm aware. This was actually a question I asked my instructor, "Are we legally liable to take action if we see something that necessitates it?" (someones life in danger etc...) the answer was no btw.
  9. The criminal who was charged was an accomplice to the man who was killed therefore he is charged with second degree murder b/c he was involved in the crime. I cant cite the exact name of the law but if you help someone commit a felony you can be charged with the other persons death because you were involved in aiding him/her in the felony.
  10. So after thinking about it awhile I decided I'm going to drop the price down to $2500 OBO for CR. Originally I compared similar cars, years/makes/models and mileage that were going for way more than I was asking but there are two issues that need to be addressed so I think dropping the price is fair. I'll edit the original post but cant edit the original post title unfortunately.
  11. Thanks, i was in a rush to get to work when I made the post.
  12. Selling my 04 Jetta GLS. - 2.0 four cylinder engine (non-turbo, FWD) - Automatic transmission - Black Leather interior / Silver exterior - Heated seats - power windows/locks - CD/Cassette Monsoon Stereo (stock) - side curtain airbags (front and back) - Good tires and brakes - Sunroof - 141k miles Recent maintenance done: New fuel pump New ignition coil Timing belt done AT 100k miles (plus accessory belts done) The bad: Needs a passenger side, front wheel bearing Needs a new catalytic converter small spot of surface rust on the driver side rocker panel (under the door) This car runs and drives fine. There is a hum at highway speeds due to the wheel bearing. The 'cat' is bad so the check engine light is on and there is a rattle when the car sits at idle but other than those symptoms there are NO drive ability issues. Car starts and runs fine. I have gotten quotes for both of these issues and it should cost around $280 for the wheel bearing and $300 for the cat (quote from Mad Hatter Muffler on the west side). Price is $3700, sorry not interested in barter or trades. Email is the best way to get a hold of me rse7en@yahoo . The car is available to be seen in the morning/lunch hours or anytime on the weekend in the Dublin area. Title is clean and in hand. This was the same posting i put on Craigslist, i might be willing to negotiate the price for a CR member. Thanks EDIT: Price Dropped to $2500 OBO on CR.
  13. Selling my 42" Panasonic Viera Flatscreen TV. Have had it for 4-5 years, works flawlessly, screen looks great in HD. Comes with power cord and remote. Recently moved and don't have anywhere to put this thing. Selling for $200 (no trades). I believe it is a 720, LCD TV. Easiest to email me at rse7en@yahoo Pics can be seen at: http://columbus.craigslist.org/ele/4511991283.html
  14. Selling my Kindle Fire HDX, I picked it up around Christmas time and have used it MAYBE 5-6 times other than that it has sat in its box on my dresser. New it was $229, I'm asking $150. Its easiest to email me b/c I might not check the forum every day and I can reply on my phone. rse7en@yahoo Pics can be seen here: http://columbus.craigslist.org/ele/4511968149.html
  15. I like different, so single yellow spoke has my vote. Honestly which ever way you are leaning go with that. Its your car as long as you like the way it looks. wait, whats wrong with Rota's?
  16. So I had a buyer lined up last weekend but things fell through so I will drop the price down to $280 now. email me for inquiries rse7en@yahoo.com . Available daytime during the week and anytime on the weekends. Thanks guys.
  17. THIS. When i fought my last ticket i should have asked for a dismissal but didn't. Without the officer present the prosecutor doesn't have a strong case. I ended up before a judge who still took the side of the officer but walked away with only court fee's. Court fee's for me were around $50 so you will probably pay something if you don't get it dismissed.
  18. Hey guys sorry for the delayed reply. As for the model of the scope there are no markings or stamping's on the scope itself. I purchased the rifle from another member here and there was no paperwork or original packaging to go along with rifle. Any further price inquiries or picture's you can email me at rse7en@yahoo.com i dont check my PM's too often but can receive emails on my phone.
  19. selling my Ruger 10/22 with scope. I have maybe 80 Rounds through it. Originally purchased from a member here. Comes with over/under iron sights, a nice Bushnell Scope (sorry not sure of the exact specs of the scope), and it has a black synthetic stock and blued barrel. Comes with 220 rounds of .22lr , and one factory 10 round magazine and one aftermarket 30 round (plastic) magazine. Price is $280 obo. Best way to get ahold of me is to email rse7en@yahoo.com that way I can reply via phone. All offers will be considered but sorry not looking for trades.
  20. Coworker of mine has a base model Taurus. Those things are boats. I have never driven one though, they look nice i was surprised at how much bigger they have gotten though. Whats your MPG in that thing?
  21. I have only been pulled over once since I got my CCW. That was a few years back in my eclipse, and it was a sheriff's deputy in Marysville. He was courteous but asked why it took me so long to pull over. I explained it looked like loose gravel on the side of the road and being a lowered car i wanted to ease onto it (which was true). I told him about my ccw and that my firearm was locked in my glove box and he didnt give a shit. Then he said he was going to walk his dog around the car... hahaha, ok. he went back, ran my information. Then got an urgent call for assistance so let me go and he was off. All that being said, Josh i would fight that ticket. If she had her belt on maybe the officer didnt see it under her arm or something ridiculous. Don't just blindly throw money at it.
  22. The ownership mismanaged everything and ended up going into receivership. That is when they closed all locations except the one in Gahannah and kept catering operations open through it. The only profitable part of the company anymore was catering so it was purchased by the owners of Jonny Buccellis and now the Bethel road location serve's both their own menu and Hoggys menu as well as operates catering out of that location. I only know this b/c a good friend of mine was an employee through the whole process.
  23. THIS. There are support groups out there and I'm sure whatever hospital system you are in will have the information you need. From what i understand a support group can have people at varying stages of treatment in it so that will help her see all sides of it. Goodluck man i'll keep you and your family in my prayers.
  24. No one's mentioned Hoggys off bethel road. Personally I don't like their sauce that covers everything but they do have a Au June (sp?) marinated brisket that is fucking delicious. That and their mac and cheese is good. Its not that I don't like their bbq sauce but they marinate their pulled pork and chicken in it, so personally i think its a bit much. Oh and wood fire smoker too.
