  1. Thanks for the replies fellas. I think it's funny how not one person mentioned any Hondas of any sort. Unfortunately I can't grow a mullet like I use to so that means no moostangs. Haven't really considered audi's due to high cost of maintenance but as for newer passers that's the one I would consider actually buying new of it were a diesel. Ms3 is an interesting choice, I hadn't considered it bc it might be a bit small. Thanks for the suggestions.
  2. Ok I'm not Mowgli, I don't have bags of rare gold coins and precious diamonds hidden under my mattress so lets keep this realistic. -Price point $17,000ish (i would go a bit over if I really liked the car) -Needs to be a daily, i drive a lot between work and school. -Needs to haul shit (hockey bag/sticks, bike, camping gear, etc...) -Prefer low mile used (think lease turn in's) i don't buy new but i keep my cars a long time. So nothing over 100k miles etc. I've had my current Jetta 9 years now. I like trucks (no dodge's) but hard to convince myself it would make a reasonable daily driver. After looking around i narrowed it down to a Subaru Legacy (awd goodness), or Honda Accord (boring but reliable) but want other options before I pull the trigger. Suggestions?
  3. Definitely a Sonata. Why, what did this car do that you need a description of it?
  4. I don't know all of the details he said Jason Aldean was playing for an extra $40 ticket and i think its $40 per car to camp. I have a large two room tent we're gonna set up, some umbrella chairs. I figure if each of us (three total going) picks up a case of beer and a case of water each, and packs a couple of sandwiches we should be good. My friends uncle is the chef for Rahal Racing so hopefully we can get into their hospitality area, that would be cool. I kinda just want to see the pit area and where they actually work on the cars but I'm assuming that will all be closed off to spectators.
  5. damnit, I think I'm past the 30 day period. I have to check the exact date on my license.
  6. My sister has one she never uses and would part with but its really nice and brand new (ie, NEVER used). Whats your budget?
  7. My buddy text me last night and said tickets were dirt cheap and Jason Aldean was playing for an extra $40 ticket I believe. $40 per car for camping. BYOB, packing up some sandwiches sounds like a nice weekend. Have never attended a race before though. Has anyone ever gone? what should I expect? Anything in particular I should bring?
  8. Sorry for the newb question i haven't looked into this at all. Looking through my wallet last night and realized my CCW license expired last month. Since I have already gone through the classes isn't the renewal process just paperwork? (note: I haven't carried since my license has expired)
  9. Sorry for your loss Tim. Hope things get better for you and your family.
  10. Where are you staying and where are you sitting? I'll be in section 109 (I think) with a bunch of other CBJ fans hope to see a big contingent of fans from cbus. Still haven't decided if we're going to get a hotel room but i think we might stay at Springhill Suites. Side note: If anyone is looking for tickets my buddy and his sister might not go, i can convince them to sell. $170 a piece. Second side note: If we stay, what is there to do in pitt? From what I hear the area around the arena isnt that great to go out (not like arena district or short north etc...), any recommendations?
  11. I'm in the same section, row U and I paid $123 a week ago, this is a good deal if anyone is thinking of going. I wouldn't deal with scalpers tonight they're prices will be crazy high. EDIT: if you're on the fence about going, just go. Playoff hockey is a completely different brand and MUCH more entertaining and exciting, especially in person. Ok now i'll stop the free advertising for Sean.
  12. My ex had the exact same body type.... it was... awesome. too bad she was nuts.
  13. PM Sent... As for the Kindle I would take $150 but im pretty firm on that. Available later tonight in dublin and daytime during the week for pickup.
  14. Bought this Kindle Fire HDX last december and have used it MAYBE a dozen times then it just sat on my nightstand. I paid $229, i'll let it go for $175 Mom bought me a ROKU 1 for Christmas, again used it for a day when the nieces and nephews wanted to watch netflix in the guest room and that was it. new its $50, i'll let it go for $35. Comes with box and everything in it. Have a Samsung 5 DVD player.... ummmm $5, or if you buy either of the above i'll give it to you for free. All prices are OBO or negotiable. Prefer cash but if you have something cool i might trade.
  15. its free, just take it. Comes with a remote and a few games (Black, some tom clancy games, GTA3, not sure what else) In dublin, if you pick it up today i'll probably give you a free stereo too..... b/c they're in the same box. Moving soon gotta get rid of a bunch of stuff.
  16. Good info, my good friend just picked up an entry level road bike and i have been contemplating trying it out. I live in dublin and can get to the olentangy trial pretty easily, it would be cool to ride downtown once and a while. I think that's a 10 mile trip or so?
  17. Long story short, guy hit me from behind leaving a Kohls parking lot saturday afternoon. It was a relatively slow accident, more of just a bump really. Everyone was ok so there was no need to call the police. We exchanged information and went on our way. No less then two hours later their insurance agent calls me asking for information, what happened, if I was going to seek medical treatment, etc... I was vague on somethings because I wasn't sure if I should be talking to him. My main concern is that the car is repaired, there is literally just some paint transfer so a new bumper cover would be needed. But I don't want to get fleeced here. Should I lawyer up?
  18. A guy on my old hockey team was Canadian (i know, shocking right?). He was raised on a farm and said when he was younger the town/province they resided demanded all citizens turn in their firearms... his parents just laughed. They obviously still own their own firearms. i don't remember which province or area he was raised though. I want to say somewhere around London, Ontario.
  19. This place is great however they book VERY far in advance, I would honestly not be surprised if they are booked through the end of 2014 already but it wouldn't hurt to try. I do side work for a catering company so i have been to some venues. If you are looking for cheap White Star on the south end of town is nice as long as you are going for a 'rustic' theme (country, etc...).
  20. Thanks for the input guys. Honestly I wasn't really interested in an older truck anyway I was just interested b/c it was dirt cheap and my preference is for Chevy's before Ford before Dodge. Either way this would be a daily driver so no mods, I'm leaning more towards a boring car like an Accord. Something that I can drive for another 8 years without major issues.
  21. Does anyone know of any websites I can use that would show major maintenance concerns on used cars? maybe typical issues on older cars that can be expected? reliability concerns? I'm looking at an 02 ram (4.7, gas) with 74k but I'm wondering if there is an expensive maintenance issue with these trucks, maybe a pricey 100k maintenance that needs to be done (timing belt/chain, water pump, etc...) I wasn't really considering such an old truck but its decently priced and I HATE driving such a small car.
  22. I've always been a fan of Flying Pizza off bethel. The old owner Sal use to be a family friend but a few years ago he sold that location to the guy who bought the campus location also. I haven't made it through to try it out since then so i'm not sure if the recipe has changed at all.
  23. For sale is my Sig AR. I've owned it for approximately 2-3 years however in that time have only had the opporunity to shoot it a handful of times (three to be exact). Can't really justify having an expensive toy just gather dust in my closet anymore. This is the base model Sig Sauer AR with some extras. Retailers market this as the "enhanced" version because it has Magpul stuff on it, rather than the factory Sig furniture. Bought it new from Blackwing, total out the door price was around $1200 with tax. Comes with tac rail on top (no handle), standard "A2" front sight with a flip up iron sight in the rear. All Magpul furniture in black (adjustable rear stock), Magpul vertical grip on the front and one magpul 30 round mag. Also has a chrome lined bolt carrier/barrel. Has a quick detach sling mount which i always thought was cool but never used. Shoots 5.56 or .223 Considering I have hardly shot this gun in the time I've owned it and its in new condition I'm asking $1100 with one 30 round mag and whatever ammo I have (I think i have 50ish rounds in a box somewhere) Also have Ten aluminum GI mags with tan followers I would be willing to package with the gun for a bit extra, or sell separately. Buyer must agree to sign a purchase note. Simply saying that I sold you this firearm nothing more. Interested buyer's can contact me here or email me at rse7en@yahoo.com Looks EXACTLY like this but with Black Magpul furniture and a front vertical grip. http://www.gandermountain.com/modperl/product/details.cgi?i=GM447601
