off topic, how the fuck do people drive on roads like that? no lines!?

I got held up by work for a few days but finally got around to stopping by there this morning. Got there at 11am and was done by about 12. The exhaust cracked right at the flange where it meets up with the exhaust manifold, just snapped. No rust, i guess the flex section wasnt going to flex and said fuck it. They welded it back for a whopping $25, but after running the car the flex section was leaking also (it was in bad shape, i mustve bottomed out on somthing) so i told them to just replace it. My total bill was $125. Cool guys, they let me come back and look at it (not that i thought they were lying but still). Quick, easy and cheap. I was prepared to pay a few hundred assuming the worse so i was happy it was so cheap. Not the greatest side of town but i would recommend them. Oh and my neighbors are thankful they cant hear me roll up at 2am anymore.

My family and i went last summer. My mom rented a cabin for all of us. It was really nice but for anyone wanting to go and rent a cabin i'll warn you there's usually a waiting list depending on where your looking. We had alot of fun, its a great place if you have kids b/c there's a ton of 'touristy' stuff to do. It wouldnt be the first place i would vacation if i was going on an adult vacation. Ton of places to eat, rediculous amount of pancake restaurants, we went tubing down a river (it was more like a big stream) that was fun and cheap. But be warned, some places are dry and dont sell alcohol. I cant remember if its pigeon forge or gatlinburg or seiverville (they're all really close to each other) but if you and your girl want to go out for a few drinks it might not be possible.

Ha well my jetta isnt exactly a race car but i think i just need it patched together. I havent had the problem diagnosed yet but im assuming its an exhaust leak somewhere by the exhause manifold. From what i can see (which isnt shit b/c the heat shield is in the way and im too fat to get under the car) no fluids are leaking and nothings hanging off, Actually... im really hoping thats all it is.

Cool thanks for the recommendation i'll give him a call in the am.

HA, awesome. You've really done your homework here. This is my first single xmas in 3 years so its a bit different. Plus my ex always bought me stuff that i liked in the past but that wouldnt neccessarily be true with someone else. But your imaginary scenario is definitly possible... and scary.

wow that sucks man, sorry to hear about it. Im the youngest of 5 and there are 4 neices and nephews so far. So we do a grab bag for the adults and everyone buys something for the kids. As for what i got, a new work jacket from Duluth trading co., a keychain and gloves. Being single and an adult at xmas time sucks. Shouldve gotten an xmas gf to keep until December 26th. Oh well.

So long story short, driving back from cinci this weekend part of my exhaust fell off or blew off somehow, it sounds like im driving with open headers its so fucking loud. A good friend of mine is a service advisor at ricart, he recommended i try out this place, mad hatter muffler off sullivant ave which i think is around the hilltop area? Has anyone had any experience with this place? I tried calling a few times today to make an appt but theres no answer. I would check their hours online but they have no website so im hoping theyre just closed for the holiday weekend.

Add to this list, a sig sauer sp2022. They come in 9mm, .40 and .357, try out the 9mm. If you cant shoot it at least ask to hold one, the grip is amazing. And they retail at blackwing for around 500 which is pretty cheap for a sig. If your looking for suggestions on a manufacter, all of the above are great firearms but it will ultimatly come down to what fits you best and what you enjoy shooting the most. There are some differences with striker operated and double action, but if you go to a reputable shop they will be able to explain everything and the advantages/disadvantages of every firearm. And yes, try and shoot whatever you plan on buying before your purchase it.

Exactly. the only thing funny is how insane people got with their reactions. true story, my buddy was playing madden on his xbox, takes a call while playing and tells his friend on the phone hes bartending at some place in delaware. After he hangs up a voice on his tv says "where in delaware do you bartend?" hes like WTF? his kinect was on the whole time and the dude he was playing with heard everything. So my friend says, "i didnt say anything about you did i?" "well you called me a fucking fagot for going for it on 4th and 2 but other than that no" Awesome.

I did the same last time i was at Blackwing, asked to hold a 21sf, despite being a "slim frame" it still felt pretty big in my hands. Now im not a small guy and i would say i have average size hands but it did feel pretty large for a handgun. I still havent picked up anything b/c of xmas and buying presents for other people etc... but ive narrowed it down to G17, Sig SP2022, or M&P9, all in 9mm, all large handguns. For now the purchase is on the back burner though. On topic, for the scenario your talking about you definitly want the caliber that is widely used by everyone (law enforcement, military, civilians alike) and you definitly want something that will shoot and not be pickey about junk ammo or dirty conditions. I would go with a Glock 17.

I was at Blackwing two weeks ago on a saturday afternoon. The range had a line but the gun sales counter was near empty. Sure they had a few customers but there was always someone there asking if i needed help with anything. The range on the other hand, had a line out the door at least 20 deep.

I dont get it, you ask for advice and people to give their opinions then you get defensive when they tell you its the wrong decision? So your upside down on a truck (and you have what, 3 cars already?) now you want to trade it in for a sportscar that might give you a lower monthly payment but cant fit your entire family in it, and im guessing your still going to be upside down on that aswell? Am I getting this right? And after all of this you ask for what people think? Why not just make a thread "hey everyone im getting another car can you guess what it is?"
-
I thought about that but, if you just felt an 'earthquake', or at least thats what you thought it was. The last place you would run into is a 3 story building, thinking if a quake hits again and its strong enough the building could collapse. Crazy though, as i watched i kept thinking what i would try and do, fuck alot of those people just had no way out.

Ha, the only reason i know about a lahti is b/c they featured one on 'sons of guns'. They looked real similar but i didnt read the description before i posted.
-
Looks like a modern day lahti.

I doubt it passes. In ohio we dont see very strict gun laws but in states like New York (where i grew up) gun control laws are rediculous. Its extremely rare to know someone who owns a gun and isnt in law enforcement. Of course i grew up on long island so i cant speak for upstate it could be different there. So should this bill pass that means i would be able to carry in New York City? or heaven forbid California... WITH A LOADED MAGAZINE! hell would freeze over.

Just bought a Hi-Point 9mm carbine rifle. Pic/review

I was going to ask whats the capacity on the stock mags? 10 rounds? I think i heard an aftermarket supplier selling hi capacity 17 or 18 round mags but they weren't very dependable. Personally i wouldve waited for the keltec sub2000, but thats only b/c i own a Glock 9mm so switching mags would be super easy. Ive heard alot of good things about these carbines though. i think they look kinda ugly but if its dependable and cheap to shoot nothing else matters i suppose. Let us know how its holds up. -
I do the same thing avoiding the Walking Dead thread on CR. Parts of that show were ruined for me from that damn thread but i wont blame anyone else, i shouldnt have read it. oh well.

Cant wait to see the season finale. Last season was a bit dissappointing but this season definitly delivered. My guess is something happens to keep Jax in Charming, something crazy like Tara getting shot in her ugly face by the cartel assholes. Oh and i hope jax doesnt kill clay with the shit Tara gave him, thats too docile for revenge.

I Got 15 Kids & 3 Babydaddys-SOMEONE'S GONNA PAY FOR ME & MY KIDS!!!
HotCarl replied to Casper's topic in Pics and Vids
There were some follow up stories if you watch the whole youtube clip. One of the stories said that there was 'public outrage' over her comments... ha no shit? I wish there was a running tally on how much this woman has cost the tax-payers. Whats the going rate on a birth at a hospital? 15k-20k? multiply that by 12, add living expenses, etc... Sounds like my pos brother, gets his insurance from the state to take care of himself and 4 kids (3 of which arent even his), you know where they go when one kid gets sick... THE FUCKING ER! you know how expensive that shit must be? its cool though b/c the state will just pay for that shit right? He's been in the fucking ER probably a half-dozen times in the last year all for bullshit reasons. to top it all off, come tax-time when i get my piddly $1000 check this lazy fuck walks away with a check for $10k. Makes me fucking sick. -
Joe's right, i think it was the brady bill but i also was under the impression that was only for semi-automatic rifles? i dont know it was way before my time. Either way, i bought a new gun from vances 2 years ago, the process took literally less than 5 minutes. The only stipulation that might surprise you is that they need two forms of id. However if you buy from vances, they can help you provide the second form if you fill out a range ticket. Somehow that suffices for a second form of id, i dont know i didnt ask the salesman said it was completely legal so i took his word for it.

did she get hitched? guess i'll just have to wait until that Team Glock 16 y/o turns 18 then i can officially say shes hot.

That girl is hit compared to Team Glock shooter Jessie Abbate
