That and i know a girl who works "security" which is funny b/c shes like 120lbs but thats what she said. oh back on topic, I would almost garantee they wont let you carry, with all the security and cops around i wouldnt want to be caught carrying in an area with posted sign's saying its not allowed.

Went to Blackwing today to try out some different guns and see what grips felt best. Ironically i liked the G19 better than the 17. the sales guy was really helpful and after i told him what my price range was recommended i grip a sig 2022 in 9mm, holy shit it was perfect. As much as i didnt want to buy anything other than a glock that sig made me reconsider. I ruled them out b/c ive never seen them cheaper than 800ish but this was brand new for $529. I know nothing about the sig models, all i know is this was a double-action, polymer framed 9mm and felt fucking perfect. I have a good friend in law enforcement who said he would look into what kind of discount he could get, just waiting to hear back.

I cant agree with you on this one. There are plenty of industries that have unions to protect their member's from being taken advantage of. If the owners had they're way they would pay each player $20,000 a year and tell them to wash cars in the off season with no benefits. Thats how the NFL was back in the day before the NFLPA got their shit together. Not defending one side or the other, just saying look at the bigger picture of unions in general.

dude, im in the same fucking boat. I have a shit ton of hw to do and i want to play it so bad but have to be a 'responsible adult' first. fucking bullshit. oh and from the little time that i did play online, i got my fucking ass kicked. I got pretty decent at Black Ops before so maybe its just a learning curve, shit.

Honestly, i got it a few months ago and its sat in my closet since then b/c powder room said i couldnt shoot it there and i havent made it up to blackwing. I like it but i just cant see myself ever carrying it as a ccw. Then someone asked me if i would sell it so i said sure? why not? oh and it shoots a .410 shell or a .45 long colt, ive heard the latter kicks like a motherfucker, add to that its the 'public defender' edition so its a pretty small frame so im sure it kicks hard, but i have yet to shoot it like i mentioned.

Ones worth owning? I've usually always believed the theory "you get what you pay for" especially when it comes to guns. That being said I love the kimber ultracarry's, i think its the 4inch barrel? But from last i saw they were pretty expensive. I want a larger frame handgun. Like i said before i already have a G26 as my ccw. The gun im looking to purchase will be mostly used at the range, i might carry it in the winter aswell. Id love to get into some IDPA matches or 3 gun stuff but its hard to find the time. As for ergo's ive handled the XD and loved it, same with the M&P. Scotty, i thought about going with a G21 but the tradeoff between having 17rounds of 9mm available in the mag and 13 available in a .45 mag, aswell as i already have a 9mm handgun are probably the deciding factors. As i aquire more and more firearms im trying not to have a bunch of different caliber's so it wont cost me an arm and a leg when i go to the range. Found a guy who wants to buy my Taurus Judge for $400 this saturday so i'll probably go shopping sunday for a new piece, im giddy like a school kid.

I know i'll get the typical answer, "go out and try each one" but i want opinions here. Im 90% sure i want to get a Glock 17 or 19. I currently have a glock26 as my ccw so i like the fact that the mags will be interchangable and I think im turning into a Glock fanboy. Might be open to a 1911 as long as it didnt cost me an arm and a leg. I like sig's but they can be pricey also and i have yet to shoot one. So any suggestions? sig p226? M&P? XD? 1911? kahr? black powder revolver? oh and my price point is around $500 give or take, i would spend a bit more if it was something i really liked. And I'd like to stay with a 9mm but could be swayed to a .40 or .45, blackwing currently has brand new Glock 21 on sale for $479 i believe.

Personally i think they're all friends/family of his somehow. My opinion is that, he doesnt want to shoot any walker's b/c all the walkers that come to the farm are former friends/family so he cant bring himself to kill them (even though they're already dead). I think if he were to really trying to find a cure he'd be working on them somehow. That or maybe he's still holding out for a cure so he's keeping them?

I get my mag's, 9mm bullets, got a really nice quality range bag for cheap b/c i always hated carrying all my shit to the range, and some other stuff from them. Anyone know if you can play split-screen combat 'practice' mode like on black ops? had a friend over and tried this but couldnt figure it out. it kept putting just the two of us on a map and that was it. Shes not that good so i didnt want to play against real people on live. btw, this game is sick. the guns, graphics all of it. i only had time to play one game and within 30 seconds of picking up the remote i was in a game. lately ive been thinking about my next gun and i think i want a fullsize Glock. Ironically i wanted to stay away from .45 b/c I thought it would be harder to shoot (ive only shot 9mm ever) with larger recoil, then i saw this... If a 6 year old can shoot a fullsize .45 1911 then why am i being such a bitch about it?

There are some guys at my work who abuse it like crazy. I never wanted to be 'type casted' as one of those guys so ive been reluctant to file for it. My manager and I are on pretty good terms, i dont call off sick for stupid reasons and im dependable so he didnt give me too much shit when i asked to leave last monday, but i knew calling off tue was pushing it and wed was out of the quesiton. So far ive only missed a full day plus 3hrs or so, so not too much time but again this is more of a precautionary move than anything. I have a weeks vacation already schedules starting this monday so im just trying to stay there this week then drive down to see her. I honestly thought, and all the doctors said that her condition would improve with time, treatment and physical therapy but it hasnt so this is definitly the direction im going. As for all the criteria both myself and my employer more than qualify so thats not a problem. Im not too thrilled about asking the dr to fill out my paperwork, in my opinion his job is to provide the best care for the patient and now im gonna approach him with some stupid FMLA paperwork to waste his time? oh well i suppose.

Has anyone ever had to deal with FMLA with their employer? Recently my mother suffered a stroke. When i found out monday night i immediatly left work and drove to cinci to see her at the hospital. I ended up missing a day and a half of work and had to sign some absenteeism paper when i got back (normal practice for my employer). However there is a chance she could be in the hospital a while and i was thinking of 'claiming' FMLA so i can at least have some time to see her besides driving back and forth on the weekends and also as a 'just in case' if anything gets worse and all the children should be there i dont have to worry about my employer giving me shit. So far my manager has been cool with me about it but im trying to plan ahead in the near future. Has anyone dealt with FMLA? Does it apply to your parents or just your spouse and children and your own personal health and well being? I understand it only keeps my position with the company and that its not PTO or anything. For my particular employer we have to use all of our personal time and vacation time before we start using our FMLA time. My uncle is a discrimination lawyer who has his own practice in Conneticut and teaches law at Uconn, i would ask him but we've been asking him so many other questions about power of attny and FMLA in regards to my mothers employer, i dont want to bug him about it unless i really have to, or if my employer tries to terminate me (which i dont think would happen). Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Nutnfancy did a review on them (if its the same HiPoint carbine im thinking of) and he loved it. And this guy is normally a very critical reviewer. In one of his video's he mentioned a company that makes a 30rd magazine for this gun but for some reason the mag was unreliable with 30 rounds in it... effectively making it a 29/28rd mag. Still better than 10 but whatever.

The creator and head producer of the show said the show will not follow the comics exactly on purpose. So if shane is dead in the comics he might not be in the show. Also for instance, Daryl's charecter isnt even in the comics and there are scenes in the show that arent in the comics etc... So its not a garantee that shane will get it, but i think eventually it'll catch up with him. hard to imagine too b/c he seems like such an important charector in the series so far.

Anyone watch 'talking dead' the show after the show? they made some good points... Shane is definitly changing, changing for the better or the worst? remains to be seen. But he's definitly changing to adapt to what the world is. I think he thinks he is a better leader than Rick b/c he would/will do what needs to be done. Rick's moral code is way too strict for this 'new world' and shane is more of the mind of 'fuck that, i'll shoot anyone in the leg and leave them as a buffet to get where i need to be'. Also i thought it was funny that some people didnt know what was on shane's head prior to shaving it, it was a chunk of hair that Otis pulled out as they were wrestling. Next weeks episode looks good, i wanna know why the fuck the asian kid is being lowered into a well with a nasty looking zombie?! Thunderdome? Oh and the doc is gonna kick everyone off his farm. Not really a spoiler b/c its in the previews but that should go over real well with BAMF Shane.
