  1. This was exactly what i was thinking about when i posted, hope someone would post it up aswell. Im usually pretty good at NOT pulling the trigger back at an angle and only using my finger tip but i think i anticipate the shot too much and my brace or try and prepare for the kickback.
  2. pretty sure you've just described any jean claude van damme movie made during the 80's
  3. Anyone have any tips, shooting my Glock 26 at approx. 22ft all my shots were a bit low and to the right? Am i pulling the trigger too much? On the other hand, same distance, my brother shooting his M&P compact 9mm all his shots were low and to the left? Any idea what he's doing wrong?
  4. Ive driven my jetta for almost 5yrs now, i would jump to a new Mustang GT in a heartbeat. I dont really see the whole "quality" part of VW's, maybe its just b/c i have a lower market VW but the fit and finish are good but little things keep braking. The bracket that holds the sunscreen on, the little button for the arm rest, the lock for the glove compartment etc... of course these are little things but everyone always talks about how great audi/vw's fit and finish are and sometimes i dont see it.
  5. There was a highly rated prospect with the NY Rangers who died doing this in Russia. He was playing in a minor league game and just passed out on the bench, dead.
  6. I'll tell my sister, theyre oddessey has over 250k and they're looking for a replacement but they were wanting to stay with a Honda so no promises.
  7. HA had one of those last weekend she was great! but damn i hate the smell of hippie perfume.
  8. Just a tip, if you do that make sure they're broken. Whole wooden pallets are worth money and thus you could probably get in some shit if you take them.
  9. Man thats a really cool little car, i wasnt even planning on spending any of my saving's but if this were a bit cheaper i'd def consider it. Too bad, this car literally needs nothing unless you wanted to go with a bigger turbo.

    LSAT

I didnt read most of the other replies but here's my input. Most law schools will take two things into account, your GPA of your undergrad and your LSAT scores. Some schools will favor one over the other (place more importance on LSAT rather your GPA or vice versa) but most will look at both. Dont take this test lightly if your going to do it. Im pretty sure you can take it more than once but it would probably look better if you got a great grade the first time around. Whats your undergrad major? it doesnt matter totally but keep you GPA up and dont screw around if your serious about this. The way it was explained to me, the hardest schools to get into are the ones that can practically garantee you a great job right out of college (Yale, Harvard, etc...) then you have your second tier schools, OSU Law, Duke, Univ. of Texas etc... Great schools but more competition for jobs afterwards. Then you have smaller schools, that are good for your run of the mill attorney's that want to open up a small shop and do things like writing of will's, personal injury law, divorce etc... You can definitly still make a good living if you graduate law school from Cleveland State (which one of my professors did) and like Tim said. Even if you dont end up working in law it still can open more doors latter down the road. There are plenty of good, decent people in the law profession doing good work. Being a DA might not be the most glamorous job in the world and you might not make the most money but at least it will be a very satisfying job. Now if you want to be a federal DA, ive heard they make very good money and go after some real bad guys. One thing to remember, people graduating law school right now arent finding any jobs. Now this could be different in 5 years but you have to know the industry your getting into before you graduate.
  11. If it hasnt been said already, pocket knives? Or flasks if you've got a bunch of drunks.
  12. "i piss on your grave" Ive never seen it, only heard stories but from what i heard its fucked up as shit.
  13. what are all the buttons at the top? trying to enlarge the pic but it wont.
  14. Ok, next week my family got a log cabin in Gattlinburg, Tenn for the week for a big family vacation. From what i understand its somewhat secluded in the woods. Now i was already planning on bringing my Glock 26 b/c i have my ccw and all the states i'll be driving through ohio's CCW law's have reciprocity with, and my brother will be doing the same with his M&P .45. He brought up an interesting question, from what i understand there's a big bear problem down there, he suggested i bring my Mossberg 500 aswell? Let me clear something up, ive never run into a bear in my life and never planned on it either. From what I THINK i understand of them, they may tear your trash can to shit but they usually stay away from people and out of homes and such, but ive never lived in an area where bears were a problem. I think bringing the mossberg is a bit overkill, should i? FYI im driving down next week by myself in my own car so i can keep it in the trunk for transport. Just speaking caliber wise, i know my 9mm wont do shit to a bear except piss him off, i would think the same for the 45 aswell. A 12gauge may not kill but it will definitly hurt and deter, im not a hunter so i dont know. what are your thoughts CR Gun Club?
  15. If im not mistaken you can take a loan out against a Roth IRA for certain purposes without penalty, such as a down payment on a house, and/or education for a child but this would kind of defeat the purpose of an IRA, i mean after all your saving for retirement not education or a house right? Either way, Ohio has a 529 aswell. My mom started one for the grandchildren but i have no idea how much is in theirs. Tim was right, it doesnt matter how much the monthly contribution is b/c you have time on your side, as long as your consistantly making contributions towards it and it grows steadily. There is another type of education investment tool but i cant remember the name of it. The upside was that you had more powere over where the money was going but the downside was once the child turned 18 the full balance of the account was theirs. I have a friend that has it b/c he knows what he's doing but he says before his son turns 18 he's going to put it all in a 529 so he (the dad) has more control over it.
  16. THEY NEED A BETTER SUPPORTING CAST! what a fucking crock of shit, im so fucking happy they lost. Yes im a Lebron hater, get over it.
  17. Oh and one more thing, you dont NEED a college degree to be happy or to make alot of money. But it opens more doors than would be possible if you didnt have one. Hell you dont even need one in the particular field you end up in, there are alot of very smart, capable people out there with college degrees in something they dont even work with (ie, Tim in this thread who if i remember correctly was an architect) so dont let that hold you back either.
  18. Dude, dont feel dumb for asking this question b/c everyone has asked themselves the same thing before. And in this day and age when people change careers up to 4 times in a lifetime its very common. My uncle for example, went to college to become a high school history teacher, did so and had a good career doing so, started a family raising 3 little girls then realized when he was 40 he wanted to go to law school.... ffwd a few decades and he's a partner in his firm, does great work and also teachers law at UCONN b/c he says he wants to teach business law next, but that requires a business degree aswell so he's doing that too. Or myself, Ive always worked blue collar jobs since high school. Only in the last year did i get off my ass and quit crying and bitching about wanting something more. I use to look at it as "i dont want to put my life on hold while i go back to school" but thats rediculous. Now i look at it as, I had/or am currently having a career and i want a different one with more potential. So as far as knowing what you want to be when you grow up, its never too late to change your mind so might as well try something you like. As of right now im working FT and going to school FT, is it hard? well yeah, if degree's were easy everyone would have one. Will my major change (currently business management major)? Maybe, im open to other options but at least i started and ive got the ball rolling. Ive thought about law a school, every legal class i take i really enjoy and always get A's, in fact the only challenging classes i have are all of my math classes. talked to my uncle and he informed me of what to expect etc... so thats always a possibility. One positive aspect of my position is that I pay for everything out of pocket b/c i refuse to be a graduate with $10, $20 or $30k in student debt.

    FS: Nook

Bump I use mine all the time, great little thing and a HELL of alot cheaper than a tablet pc or ipad but of course there's really only one use for it. I have the 3g one and its super convenient to be able to download when i want and it even has a browser on it to check my Facebook or something like that. Great price for this one too.
  20. Tried to get into it in the first show but it was too slow.
  21. I dont know what i did, but i think it was a pinched nerve in my back in high school... Holy Shit, it was paralyzing pain it was so bad. I just laid down on the floor and stayed there for an hour but thankfully nothing major was wrong. By far the worst.
  22. gotta love the stupid hick in the stands, "I bet he do it again" ... yeah you stupid bitch im sure he's thinking "THE SHOW MUST GO ON!"
  23. Im the same exact way, im fairly clean but mon-fri all i do is work, class and sleep so by saturday my place is usually messy and if i dont clean on the weekend it wont get cleaned at all during the week... probably one of the only reason's i miss having a gf b/c she would just do the shit for me without even asking. But having a gf is a HELL of alot more expensive than 50$ a month.
  24. So, you've got unsecured credit card debt that you want to switch to a 0% interest card so you can pay it off but continue to use it for daily expenses and dont mind a 'reasonable' interest rate? Did i get that right? Please dont take this to mean im insulting you in anyway but there's no such thing as a 'reasonable interest rate'. An interest rate is simply a way for a bank or institution to make money off of you. So if you want to use said card for day to day expenses aswell as monthly bills just to get the perks im sure you could use a regular check card/debit card and save the money you would pay in interest as your own 'perk rewards' of sorts. Just an idea. Theres no such thing as free rewards or free money, they're going to make a profit off of if in some way or another. And before people jump my shit and tell me all the cases in which they have a 0% interest card and make shit tons of money off of it, Im sure there are instance's of people getting cash back but in some way or another the bank issuing the card will make their money back eventually.
  25. Last i heard i almost positive you'd be in that shift/job for one year before you could post out to a different shift/job. It might be different if you want to stay in the same dept and just change shifts though.
