Here's the criteria: Under 10k$ used Preferably manual transmission (but if its a truck/suv it doesnt have to be) Under a 100k miles Must be a year-round car (ie, I wouldnt want to drive a high HP RWD car in the snow, etc...) Must be big enough to carry a hockey bag Somewhat reliable Im not all that picky really. Im open to any ideas from a turbo minivan (look it up, they exsist) a pickup truck or SUV, import or domestic it doesnt matter. Something a bit quicker than a 4cylinder Jetta (not hard to beat that really) but if its a truck/SUV it doesnt have to be. Some possabilities Ive thought of are: SVT Focus (for some reason I like them) Integra GSR Civic Si Any idea's car guys?

I actually thought about this but I would be a bit weary of signing on with a company just to get laid off a few short months later. I wouldnt even mind being away from home or traveling for a few days at a time. What is the pay structure like, exempt/non-exempt? max hours is 40/50 hours plus ot?

I didnt see this. You can talk to a recuiter about getting a waiver (im sure there's some BS rule about not allowing anyone with a criminal record in but considering personel requirments im sure they're giving out waivers) If you cant go Air Force I'd say Coast Gaurd, yeah you'll spend time on a cutter out to sea but eventually you'll be stationed stateside. My good friend was in the Coast Gaurd in Florida, the shit he told me and the stories he had were halarious.

Listen to this guy. Search this topic its been covered before. In short, if your going ANY service go Air Force. You'd be surprised how many different jobs they have and they treat their personel alot better than other branches.

A good rule of thumb is however much your going to buy a 1g (or 2g DSM) for is approximatly the amount of money your going to have to put into it to have a fairly good working car. So when he says 1900 and it needs a clutch, think of spending upwards of 4k+ Everybody likes to look at DSM's as cheap speed but they will nickle and dime the hell out of you especially an older model that may or may not have been well kept. Keep this in mind especially if your going to mod it, it will break and you will need to fix it. This is going to cost money wether you do the repairs yourself or not. If I had a single turbo supra i dont see why i would need a 1g. I guess I dont see where your coming from with this?

I think we're all forgeting the prosecution will only push it as far as the victims family wants to. Last time I dealt with a prosecutor she simply said I can slap him on the wrist or bend him over and fuck him with the long dick of the law (im paraphasing, kinda).
