  1. I almost want it back... almost
  2. Holy shit if that's my old one I might shit a brick. I can vouch for 19.5's @ 69 mph with one bald tire and one donut spare on the front (I have video somewhere)
  3. Needs a little fixing up but can look real nice. And I really wish people would stop trying to go for the "sleeper look" with dsm's. People really need to invest some time and money into maintaining these cars otherwise we won't see too many around in the near future. 4. We should organize a group ride for sometime this spring. Alum creek sounds fun, although that would mean I'd have to swap out my urban tires on my mountain bike.
  5. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Images/Models/Full/8255-4.jpg My next build, dedicated trials frame. Going to use a 8 speed road cassette in the rear, probably magura hydraulic rim brakes, 22 tooth front chainring, rigid fork. Should be a lot of fun.
  6. Just wondering if anyone else is into riding at all. For me it's been a passion my whole life alongside cars. I've ridden bmx, mountain, road (for a little bit), and now have just gotten into trials. Theres got to be a few others around here into it.
  7. Tell me how you did it... I need to teach my cat
  8. I made 457 dollars, went home and went to bed.
  9. The major reason they don't use 2jz's in skylines are 1. fitment issues (the 2jz turbo setup is a bitch to work on in rhd cars because of the steering rack being on the same side as the massive twin turbo setup 2. the jdm supra engine is much weaker than it's stateside cousin 3. skylines are AWD and the skyline getrag doesn't exactly bolt onto the 2jz 4. the 2jz is a heavier engine than the rb26. The reason that supra owners in japan have swapped the 3sgte into supras is strictly for a weight distribution and reduction purpose. Especially in the jgtc series where theres a hp limit. And even then... they aren't twin turbo. [/threadjack]
  10. rb's max out at what 600ish at the wheels while supras have held over 900 on the stock blocks. And I honestly don't see how less displacement is ever a "good" thing (besides applications where larger displacement means a drop in redline, in which case the 2jz with proper valve springs etc. can still turn 10,000 rpm).
  11. Since when has the rb26dett been stronger than the 2jz? 2jz makes more power stock, greater displacement, and is stronger internally. Plus more stateside support.
  12. No snowboarding= more bike riding.
  13. What's the difference between men and women? Men don't cry when you punch them. this is the kitchen right??
  14. Something sounds fishy if they're claiming 1000 whp and are only using dual walbros.

  16. It's scarier when you lose traction with awd. 2 wheels in control>no wheels in control
  17. I have it, games like zelda don't wear you out because for the most part you just use the regular controls. On wii sports though theres a boxing game and you actually do get tired playing it, which I think is really sorta cool. Theres also a bowling game on it which I was playing for a while last week with some friends, we all went for real bowling the next day with each of us throwing throwing the best game we've ever thrown. I threw a 179.
  18. 10 hp... maybe. All that most ecu tunes on non fi cars do is just lean out the mix a bit and advance ignition timing, which just means you'll get a tiny bit more power and have to use premium gas.
  19. I like Noobs, they have bipples.
  20. So thats where they've been getting all their sound bites from...
  21. If you've ever been to a Ryans then you'll believe it. They make Ponderosa look like Mortons.
  22. Roll her in flour... you stick it wherever the flour sticks
  23. My friend down in texas is running I believe 7xx hp now on the stock ge internals, upgraded hg and valvetrain though. He's popped a few headgaskets though, as well as a tranny or two.
