  1. That was Cleave. I'd recognize those gay flames anywhere.
  2. Per Jbot's request, here is the PM that was sent. At first, I just figured this for a thinly veiled threat. However, the more I think about it, I'm not sure if its a threat or an attempt to get a date. Sorry dude, but I'm neither scared, nor do I bat for that team.
  3. If you had such great skills, you'd be working as a professional pen tester and not exhibiting such childish behavior. Dude, script kiddies are reading this thread and mocking you.
  4. Accuracy is more a function of quality barrel and sight radius vs barrel length.
  5. Nah, 223 would be overkill for cats. .17hmr on the other hand..... I spent one summer working from home with my 10/22 sitting in the window in case of groundhogs. It was a devastating summer for those varmints.
  6. The Judge is a solution looking for a problem
  7. Beaver is a bit short, but its a super fun layout. The facilities are great. Stay to the inside when going through 8 as the outside is a bit bumpy. 2,3,4 you'll want to setup and take as a continuous turn kinda like 10/11 at mid ohio.
  8. A gun is better than no gun. However, small caliber weapons should never be the first choice for self defense. .380 minimum for carry (size compromise), .38 or 9mm minimum for home defense.
  9. You do realize that you quoted an anti-gun group right? Using the VPC for any gun related argument earns you a 1 month timeout on firearms threads buddy. Go hang your head in shame and sit in the corner.
  10. Handgun + light + gunvault safe (or similar product) = problem solved
  11. Oh, and if anyone gives you the "just the sound of a pump action shotgun will scare badguys away" line, immediately ignore anything further that they say.
  12. Full size 9mm, 40 or 45, depending on what your ammo preference and abilities dictate. Night sights AND a good flashlight (be it a handheld surefire or weaponmounted) are an absolute must. Shotguns are not the end all/be all of home defense. Some instances may require more precision/maneuverability than they can provide. If I am checking on something in the home, I grab a handgun (even my subcompact .45, but I don't recommend this for most folks, its not ideal) and a surefire g2. If I'm checking on something outside, I sometimes grab the AR w/light.
  13. Wow, flounder agreed with me so much he posted it twice
  14. And as several of us have chimed in, your suggestions won't work on most corporate networks that are even semi-well sorted out. BTW, thanks for the PM with the semi-veiled threat. Classy
  15. You are bragging about not getting caught doing something on a shitty network. That would be similar to bragging about beating a guy with a prosthetic leg in a 100m track event. In any event, I know exactly what I'm talking about and the few IT/Security types on this board will back me up 100%. Oh and I have no qualms about calling you a dumbass in person.
  16. You obviously have no idea what you are talking about. First off,No security/network guy worth a crap is letting users at random make connections on tcp 3389 out of his network. Second, a good setup will be doing some sort of protocol inspection on the TCP/UDP ports that are allowed out. Thus, if you are running rdp over port 80 for instance, the firewall or proxy should be configured to drop that connection. Advanced setups will be doing MITM like SSL/TLS termination to do inspection on their users traffic leaving via secure protocols. So basically, you are bragging about tunneling out of a poorly configured network. Do you brag about beating handicap people in track too?
  17. Well the rifle I *TRIED* to buy is a Rem700 5r. Called the seller today to confirm he got my money order and I find out that he's not going to sell it to me because he promised it to a friend 2 years ago and forgot. So, I now get to wait on him to get to the post office so he can pickup the MO and overnight it back to me and find another rifle. Needless to say I'm not a happy camper. I found another posted for sale for basically the same price, but now I gotta wait on getting my money back (don't like the idea of sending payment again and risk getting screwed again.)
  18. That's assuming I don't die of anticipation waiting for stuff to arrive. I was really really hoping to get it sighted in this weekend, but I may not have a scope by then.
  19. So you are flirting with the new guy due to his sweet custom rifle? I hope he doesn't feel used.
  20. I may if I actually get the bike ready this weekend. and no jbot, his s/n should be STT-CougarPatrol1 and mvcay can be 2
  21. You mean as long as the open group doesn't slow you down.
  22. I'll definitely run the Beaver days, not sure about the rest. I have half a mind to take their race school in April or May and do a few sprints. The beginner classroom instruction is good, but I'm not sure how I feel about their on track format. Their head novice instructor is about to retire from it and it was a CLUSTERFUCK last year when he skipped a track day. Jbot and I did their "intermediate school" last year, and I was less than impressed.
  23. Send spz9 a pm, it'll go to her crackberry. She's up for riding with other chicks. Just don't listen to a thing she says about me, cleave, or isaac's pappa, thats all lies.
