Might let my 1988 RX7 go for the right price. http://s145.photobucket.com/albums/r228/31rx7/1988%20Mazda%20RX7/ The nicest original one you will see in a long time. No winters, all records, all original except expendables, everything works except the power antenna (needs a mast). 89,000 miles.

Does anybody remember the concerts they used to have in the spring on the back lawn of the Ohio Union? That's where I saw MSB. -

No Grateful Dead, and I am keeping my Doors albums. Unfortunately, I don't have a spare record player, just the one I use. Looking to get one though. -
?'s For Insurance People/ Body Shop/ Repair Guys About Insurance Claims
31rx7 replied to CJINOHIO03's topic in Passing Lane
Insurance is based on the concept of indemnification; that is compensating for property loss or injury to the one who experiences the loss or injury. Who pays the premium is irrelevant. The one who experiences the loss is who gets compensated. -
New Power Steering Hoses for a 1997 Geo Prizm / Toyota Corolla. It is highly likely these fit other years 1993 - 1998. I bought these from Advance Auto Parts for my daughter's car but it was totaled before I could install them. Includes both the high pressure and return lines. Fairly straightforward to install. Rich

This is my periodic “get rid of stuff I don’t need so I can get some seed money for this year’s racing parts” thread. I will be getting pictures on all of this stuff sooner or later, but thought I would toss it out here first to see if there are people with interest. First on the block are Records (as in vinyl LP’s - some of you might need to look it up on Wikipedia if you are unfamiliar): I am thinning out my collection a bit, and getting rid of the stuff I no longer care for. • Prices shown include shipping. I will knock off $3 for local pick up. • Some prices are negotiable. It is tough to value a lot of these. I used a variety of sources to price these. • I am open to package pricing (ex: all the Genesis albums) • All records are original issues, not remasters or re-issues unless otherwise noted. • All records are in at least very good condition (4 out of 5), and many are better than that and play close to new. I will sample each album before shipping to be sure, and contact you if I find something isn’t right. • The record jackets are generally all good to very good condition. They show some wear from 30+ years of storage and moving. • Listings are Artist, Album Title, Record Label, and any notes. Here we go! • Emerson, Lake, & Palmer; “Works, Volume II”; Atlantic. $6 • The Fabulous Poodles; “Mirror Stars”; Epic – Pressed in pink vinyl, marked “Demonstration Copy” on the label and “For Promotion Only” on the album jacket. $10. • Fleetwood Mac; “Bare Trees”; Reprise – 1972. $7. • Fleetwood Mac; “Mystery To Me”; Reprise – 1973. $6. • Fleetwood Mac; “Fleetwood Mac”; Reprise – 1975. $6. • Focus; “Dutch Masters”; Sire – 1975. Sort of a greatest hits collection. $10. • Peter Gabriel; “Peter Gabriel”; Atlantic – 1978. His second solo album after leaving Genesis. $12. • Genesis; “From Genesis to Revelation”; London – 1968, their first LP. Really excellent condition. $30. • Genesis; “Foxtrot”; The Famous Charisma Label – 1972. $12. • Genesis; “Nursery Cryme”; The Famous Charisma Label – 1972. $8. • Genesis; “Selling England By The Pound”; The Famous Charisma Label – 1973. $9. • Genesis; “Genesis Live”; The Famous Charisma Label – This is the 1974 release with Peter Gabriel. $12. • Genesis; “In The Beginning”; Import. Decca - A 1974 re-issue of “From Genesis to Revelation”. The LP itself is titled “From Genesis to Revelation”, almost as if they simply repackaged the original record. $30 • Genesis; “A Trick of the Tail”; Atco – First album after Peter Gabriel left. $9. • Genesis; “Rock Roots”; Decca – Import. This is another reissue of “From Genesis to Revelation” with four extra songs added to it. 1976 release. $12. • Genesis; “Wind and Wuthering”; Atco. $8. • Genesis; “Seconds Out”; Atlantic – 1977 live album, 2 LP set. $12. • Genesis; “…And Then There Were Three”; Atlantic, 1978. $7. • Michael Stanley Band; “Cabin Fever”; Arista – FREE if you are from northern Ohio and can tell me why you deserve it. • Triumvirat; “Illusions On A Douple Dimple”; Harvest. $8. • Triumvirat; “Spartacus”; Capitol. $8. If there are other titles or artists of particular interest to you, let me know. PM or email is best. Rich

These are G-O-N-E.

Two tires, "Dominator" brand, all season. Around half tread. They measure around 5/32 to 6/32 deep. 215/60-16 size. Came off of a 99 Ford Taurus. No leaks. They are noisy when driving down the road, but they are round and balance out fine. One tire has extra wear on the inside. I just couldn't see throwing them into the tire scrap pile knowing somebody could use them. Rich

Nice. I saw a new CTS V today.

As I recall, these have the 1st gen MR2 engine and close ratio 5 spd. Excellent beater.

Need a couple of good tires for the kid's car, 99 Taurus. 215/60-16. Rich

Current daily. 1988 Mazda RX7 SE. Bone stock, virutally all original, everything works except the power antenna which just broke. 88k miles. All records. I am the third owner. http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r228/31rx7/1988%20Mazda%20RX7/CIMG2884.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r228/31rx7/1988%20Mazda%20RX7/CIMG2887.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r228/31rx7/1988%20Mazda%20RX7/CIMG2889.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r228/31rx7/1988%20Mazda%20RX7/CIMG2896.jpg

Ben, the weenie cars that I race would only hit 130+ if they were dropped out of a very high altitude airplane. My motto is "Never race what you can't afford to write off!". Hence, my preference for disposable cars. Grattan has a TON of blind turns although none are all that fast.

I picked these up along the way after being told they were for an EF (88-91) Civic. They are not. My guess is they are for the EG Civic or maybe another model. These are generic upper control arms with an adjustable sliding ball joint, and appear to never have been installed. They are not as nice as the Skunk2 arms, but they are also not $200+. Use these to correct the camber on your Civic / Del Sol after lowering. For reference, the distance between the two arms (center to center) is about 6.75". The distance between the two holes that the bolt goes through is about 1.75". Let me know if you have any questions. $35 plus shipping. Make an offer - these are doing me no good sitting around. I just picked up this thread. This is an interesting discussion to me as I was a consultant for five years, and now I run an IT staffing company here in town. I have been in the IT staffing / IT consulting business for the past 18 years. Like any industry, there are great companies and ones that are not so good. Within a company, there are good offices and bad offices, and recruiters / sales people that are good and otherwise. Even within a generally good operation, execution issues happen, and candidates / clients are left with a bad impression. I have been asked a lot on how to work with staffing companies, as well as general advice on finding jobs. I finally wrote it up on my blog: What To Expect From Staffing Companies: http://tinyurl.com/y892gmn Ten Questions To Ask An IT Staffing Company: http://tinyurl.com/yflxhhg Check out other job related pieces in the archives on the upper right. Questions and comments welcome. No flame wars, please. Rich

As soon as I get back to road racing, this will be one of my first stops. The place looks beautiful and the track very challenging.
