  1. Did I say "We are considering reasonable alternatives to posted price"?
  2. Lipstick on a pig. Jack up the steering wheel and drive a decent car under it. Sorry to be so blunt but the car is heavy with a cheap suspension and low HP engine.
  3. Invite your parents to come out and watch on Saturday. I will give them a ride and explain it to them. 1989 Honda Civic Si, White, STS #81. My name is Rich. BTW, I am probably older than your parents!
  4. Mileage is low - 2446 on the odometer although I have no idea how accurate it is. PM'd my phone number. 5. 1982 Honda Urban Express (model NU50). I bought this bike off of eBay last year to use as a pit bike at the race track. It has served me well and is dead reliable for this purpose. It kick starts every time, even after sitting for months. I used it last winter in a snow storm to go around the neighborhood to find a lost dog! In any case, it is a two stroke, oil injection 50cc bike. Transmission is a two speed automatic. It has front and rear suspension, and tires are good. Top speed is about 30 mph. It is ideal for putting around the camp site, farm, or race track. I do have a clear title for it, and the bike can be licensed. However, the lighting on the bike does not work properly and would need to be repaired to do so. The other issues with it are: - Rear fender not installed (I have two that go with the bike) - Oil light comes on indicating oil tank is empty. However, the oil injection does work so the sensor in the oil tank needs replaced (there's one on eBay now for $9 or so). - Carb needs tuned or rebuilt as the bike sputters and misses at higher speeds. However, since I just used it at the race track, it didn't matter to me. I have no pictures at the moment but should be able to post some tomorrow. There is one on eBay at the moment if you search on "Honda Urban Express". Thanks for looking!

    WTB: 15x7 Wheels

They are 6.5" wide, aren't they? I need 15x7 or 15x7.5, at least 38mm offset.
  7. Steve's Used Tires. They have multiple locations. Google them.
  8. 4x100 bolt pattern for Civic autocross car. 15x7 or 15x7.5. Must be straight, cosmetics unimportant. Thanks. Rich
  9. Anthony, Let's talk at the next autocross. Rich STS 81 White Civic Si.
  10. You never know. We have ten or so going right now and if somebody has a bad day it could help. The more the merrier I say!
  11. I am so used to driving little weenie cars I would have a heart attack if I drove something like your car.

    AMA intage days?

Was up there on Fri and Sat. Rode up and back both days. Of course I forgot my camera. Lots to look at esp if you are into older stuff. Bikes, crowd, racing was all good. Huge swap meet but I didn't really see too many deals. Lots of junk and overpriced nice stuff, although I did pick up keys for my CB750 K5 and GL1000. Lots of eye candy if you Jap stuff like KZ1000's and CBX's, and Brit and Euro stuff you don't see much of like BSA, Moto Guzzi, CZ, etc. I really enjoyed seeing the old bikes racing.

  14. Not sure if this is the right place to post this. I can't go tomorrow and would like to see my pass go to good use. I am in Hilliard, near Davidson and Dublin Rd. Rich
  15. Event is at Northfield Park horse racing track which is a good site. It's up north of Akron, and I wouldn't post here except there's a bunch of us from central Ohio going up. This is a club challenge event where different clubs compete against each other. The ten fastest times (using the PAX index) from each club count towards the chalelnge, and there are at least three clubs competing. It's 2 hour towing an enclosed trailer from Hilliard, a bit less if you drive up. They run a good event and are generally done by 3p. Details at: http://noraracing.net Smack at: http://noraracing.net/forum/viewtopic.p...4c0969bb21 Be there! Rich
  16. One of the reasons I don't race karts anymore. Big fun but hard on the old guy's body!
  17. It was fairly bumpy in a couple spots but not too bad. The left at the end of the straight heading toward the timing van and the third or so cone in the slalom. I thought that they might upset the car but it seemed to stay pretty well connected. However, I suspect that a car that had soft suspension would not have liked it.
  18. Airport courses are generally fun although I miss the 180's and such.
  19. Last time I did a PCA event I finished 2nd overall in my old RX7. Did get a ton of runs.
  20. I went Friday night and have entered in the past. This is my favorite show because 75% of the folks are regular guys that happen to have a nice car vs. anal concours types. Good stuff.
  21. CR Members are welcome to ride with me. I am in the STS #181 Civic. Come up and introduce yourself. Rich
  22. Did a nice evening ride. Just under two hours at a leisurely pace. From memory, so some of it might be suspect: Hayden Run Rd. til it ends at Darby Creek. Right on the road there (not sure of the name) all the way until it goes to Plain City Georgesville Rd. Right at stop sign after crossing creek on to Plain City Georgesville, into Plain City. Left at the traffic light in the center of town. This is the main drag in Plain City. Stop at the Dairy Delight on the left for ice cream. Chat with the locals. Follow the main drag out of Plain City. Go straight past 42 at the light. Take the next right. THe name of the road is Middlefield Plain City Rd or something like that. Follow this road through Union Center til it hits Rt 38. Turn right on Rt 38. This takes you towards Marysville. Just after the speed limit goes down to 35 mph, turn right on Rt. 738. Follow it for awhile until you get back near Plain City. Turn left at the stop sign at Rt 42. Follow 42 until you get to New California and turn right at the light on to Industrial Parkway. Follow Industrial Parkway back towards Dublin. You might want to check this out on Mapquest or something to validate it.
