  1. I know a thing or 2 about turborcharging small block fords. You can never have too much torque. Just not enough traction.
  2. Both Eric (Performance Theory) and myself like this maf option for turbo blow thru applications. Maf technology has come a long way and will work as well as a SD tune. I believe the 97mm maf is capable of 1600 hp.
  3. Why do you think I made this thread. I think its funny as hell. Making fun of "ricer" honda owners.
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YMjHLI1mspI
  5. Originally the customer was going to go with a GXP. After looking at the parts list it made better sense to start with a GT.
  6. I can do Brandon. Customer is all about this Thompson Automotive. I am really excited about being part of this project. Once I get approval from the customer and the shop I am working with I will post pictures. Car is "supposed" to be delivered sometime next week. I will say that it is going to be a G8 GT.
  7. Rumor has it this place is a "hang out" for some GM Engineers. So far everything I read is positive. The owner is very friendly and willing to take time on the phone to ask questions. So far so good.
  8. Correct. I am interested in getting more information about the shop and not a specific engine.
  9. http://www.thomsonautomotive.com/?page=ads.cfm What are your thoughts on these guys? I am need of a a "RELIABLE" 1000 wheel horsepower long block. Twin turbo pump gas. Please keep the thread on track. I am not interested in comments about other local shops. I want to know if any of you had any experience with these guys or know of anyone who has. The reason for wanting to get a turn key long block is because of time contraint on a project. Customer is not interested in Livernois based on past dealings with them. Please advise..
  10. I know the cam is right around 600 lift. Not sure of the other specs. Only real feature that I know about the car is machining for cam roller bearings. LSM did the grind on it and said it was good for 7000 rpm's. Honestly I do not want to spin it over 6800. This car is going to be a learning curve for us in terms of getting the power to the ground. The tuning is going to be the easiest part. I <3 Corn Fuel.
  11. We shall see. There is still lots to do the car. I am started to get excited about this car. I think it would be cool to get the car into the 8's with the stock ecm. I do not think power is going to be a problem. The problem will be getting the power to the ground. If nothing else it will run in the 9's with 8 second mph. LOL.
  12. This the same Jerry? http://www.mustangkeyless.com
  13. John Patterson did both the turbo kit, 10 point cage, anti roll bar.
  14. There are 105 lb injectors in the rails right now. Stock injectors are 19 lb's May go up to 150 lb hr depending how we do on fuel. Fuel Tank, Pump, Lines, Rails are good for 1500 hp. This should make right around 1200 hp with the crank. Stock ECM with my tuning.
