No 4G63 no care.
I still have an 89 with a rear end in it-when I get time that will be set up as an IFO FIS killer.

YESSSSSSSSS! LS EVERYTHING
I have built a few LSx cars, but never for myself. After a Summer with the V, I am hooked!
Plans for this year-
Stock+boost- 700-800whp
2015-built Motor-Biggest turbo I can fit in the Engine bay, or 2.

And sorry about the Wrong Forum Action!

Why cut off the front end?
Different Car, but if I need room the sawzall is ready.
What happened to the fb?I have a good friend (ford guy) who wanted it. Since it was so well set up for a ford motor, I am letting him put a 5.0 back in it. Also, I think the IRS is better suited for street "driving" Wangan runs.

Not shop built....shop tuned and shop fixed for small issues, but built by him.
That's Even worse.
If I spent 100k on something I built, it would end up one click south of this-

Pulling the Chute saved the car-you can see how HARD it went left-and nobody saving that.

That is the car, plate even says dug up. Been registered for awhile
I think your confused-This quote is from 1978
Afterward the young mechanic moved the Dino and himself out of the garage on Burbank Boulevard without leaving a forwarding address, Then he or parties unknown perfectly completed the Dino's impossible restoration. Duly registered and newly licensed [with vanity tags reading "DUGUP"] by California's Department of Motor Vehicles, the buried Dino next was returned to what I hope is high speed play out on L.A.'s kinking boulevards and across our endless and flat out four and five laners.P
From Today-
More than 30 years after it was found, the dirty Dino remains unlisted on any Dino registry. That's not to say it's not somewhere out there. Indeed, it just may be.
The picture you provided is of "a" Green 246, not necessarily "the" 246GTS which seems to be MIA in 2013.
If you Google Image search "DUG UP Ferarri", you get 2 pictures of a green 246 GTS (along with 5938652 other pics), neither of which shoe the plate "DUG UP. In fact, you also get a picture of this.

Full resto would be nice, but the story just stays as odd and convoluted as this thread.

Why parting out the build? If complete how much?
2nd?
Why part a good running Ls1 Swap??

Here are the cliffs:
At first it was like:

And then it was like:

Negative.
The car is still not listed on any registries. No one knows where it is.

Brings back Memories-Colt came around exactly the same way seemingly from a low pressure situation over the trunk.
I still don't know how I didn't flip the car. 10% Skill, 90% luck? Who knows.....

Nice- T4 right? What AR?
And, are you keeping it?!

I've seen some "camo dipped" stuff on several trucks, and it seems to fade pretty badly in the sun. Does this stuff generally get cleared after the process or is it mostly just raw?
2nd-to all of it

I get that, but the guy is busy trying to man-handle the 9 second car away from the walls.. last thing he's probably fixated on is the chute in that split second he had before it rolled.
The same reaction to counter the turn towards the wall is the same time a season'd driver would reach up for the chute. Shit happens-but a quick grab of the airbrake has saved many, many cars.
That's why you have to be less of a hero, and on the chute much sooner. There was a guy in a Toyota that almost put it in the wall, but garbed the chute early. He may of lost the pass, but it saved the car.
That about covers it.
-
I'd be doing an underwear check after this
Pretty non Violent considering-
If he pulled the Chute earlier it may even have stayed wheels down.
