  1. The fountains at the Bellagio are phenomenal. Ashley and I always make a point of having dinner or cocktails at the restaurant at Bellagio in which their patio overlooks the fountains. (I think the name of the restaurant is Olives.) Get a good buzz on, watch the fountains, enjoy life, the end.

    Could not agree more

This was a "penthouse" suite at The Cosmopolitan for a Bachelor Party 8 Months back. Full wrap around balcony. Easy sell as the best view in Vegas. So good-we will be there again with team savage in 30 days.

  2. Yeah yeah yeah

There's no 250 in my garage yet. I'm telling you find a nice tight twisty road and take a 250r or the new 500r. Fun little turds

    :)

I did a 250 enduro race at Beaver Run. It was fun because you are out there racing which is always better than bench warming or sitting on your couch-but the speed/fun factor was nap worthy. Momentum or slow spec racing is just not for me. On track for example I'd rather be on a solo time attack run in the hairiest think I can find for one balls firmly against the fucking walls run. Otherwise, my adrenalin and my enjoyment level stay firmly at zero.

Anything I drive needs to have OHSHIT factor, be it on the street or track. But admittedly, I am not normal.

  3. The Monster has a similar feel as to a naked Buel, very easy to flick it around. Has a huge tank though which is hard to get used to. Yes it's air cooled.

To be completely honest I prefer a well setup 250r over a 600+ CC bike in the canyons, nothing more boring than having to keep a bike tame the whole time as with the 250r you can go flat most of the time and it's way more enjoyable. Easier to toss around as well and the smaller tires are a riot :lolguy: As for track use everything is much cheaper and I wouldn't be fighting with keeping the rear wheel hooked or the front of the bike down, huge issue I had with my old R6-the back tire would never stay fully planted.

So say guys that race spec Miatas. Its basically momentum racing on 2 wheels. Different stokes... :)

  4. I hope so, it's a odd riding bike. Ducati tech is picking it up tonight to do it's belts and valve adjustment and I'm sure it will end up needing more stuff. Deciding if I want to buy a nice suspension setup for it? I really want a cbr 250 to track with, might be my next bike

Its like racing a spec Miata. Its rainbow racing.

  5. Manual Gallardo Spyder. Easier to flip off the haters.

I love the GTR, I love the 997TT, I love the C6Z. But those are cars for people who weigh pros and cons and think about ROI. The Gallardo is a car for the Clarksons of the world who don't believe "delicate" and "right foot" belong in the same sentence.

Buy the Gallardo and let everyone tell you how much faster a GTR would be right before they get into their clapped out 240SX.

Make sure it's bright orange or neon green or something offensively awesome. Get matching color wheels. Wear a shirt that says "What Recession?" on it. Embrace the hate. Be one with it. Feed on it.

    End thread

  6. Hello, CR community. I have been a lurker the last couple years, as my career has me absent from the area. Any who, I need some help deciding things. I need educated responses and pro's/con's.

    GTR

    C6 Z06

    CTS-V

    997 TT

    wait a year..

    Gallardo

    Thanks guys,

    Dover

    He's Back!

Gallardo if its in the budget.

  7. My v10 super duty had 370k when I sold it. Never had a valve cover of the motor in its life. Ran like a top and made no noise. All in how it's taken care of.

Makes me feel good to have 210k on mine!

Ever need work on the trans?

  8. This^

It was a bastard from the start. Toyota "styling" LOL and a Subaru powerplant that cant handle shit for power to begin with LOLx2

if you gave me one, the first thing id do is rip the drivetrain out of it.

    Stock engine 600whp

    Stock Engine

They can make a kit to make a 350whp with Toyota reliability IMO.

  9. Everyone wants to drag race- deal with it.

The solution is SIMPLE here. Lower base price-offer a "no frills" FRS. Offer a TRD turbo and offer it as a factory installed option simial to the COPO or old MALLET vetts. Avoid the EPA/GOVY bullshit. Market the ferk out of it-call in favors and put it up against every 30-40k sports car out there. It should do well at a low price point.

    Profit

  10. Does it have resonators still? My car has full 3", no cat, and muffler deletes and still is almost too quiet. If someone deleted those, just throw on stock over the axle pipes and should make it sound good

Nice purchase by the way, looks good

    Yours has turbo's right?

    Better than any muffler. :)

  11. JP, though I'm staying at the Plaza I plan on being there to sleep only pretty much. Ample strip time planned. I'm single and damn good looking so attractive single women are what I'm after. Do plan on a fancy meal or 2, had lots of suggestions there and the hard part is deciding which one. I saw they just opened that new Ferris wheel, it's in the agenda also.

Single guy-it’s all about pool parties and Dat club life.

If skipping lines, (cheap) bottles and F’in models is your thing, send me a PM I will get you connected.

  12. Cat less h. Appears to be the flow master out law catback. Whatever it is it's louddddd. Even gingerly driving the car sounds like your driving wide open. Heard cars with no mufflers quiter.

Does it have that raspy "crackle" on decel too?

This is my buddies car for comparison

  13. From the replies so far, I don't think you could use any of my advice or local connections. :)

One thing, get off of Fremont street and down to the strip. It will look 100x different than the last time you saw it, and have 100x more attractive people to look at.

If you are looking for the over 40' with the wife type of experience, make sure you see a show (look for a deal on tickets before you land) and eat one REALLY good meal there. Its the most highly concentrated are of 5 star restaurants on this side of the planet, and depending on the year, the world. Take advantage.

Also-go to the LINQ, and right the tallest Ferris wheel on the planet. You may be the first on CR to do so :)
