  1. hey thanks man I used a program like xp had (power toys) but it's not made by microsoft and it's bloatware. wanted it gone.
  2. people like you kill me. and that's not the point. they don't need to see it period. you should be alarmed as to why they want to. do you let a stranger have a look in your wallet too?
  3. all the reason I stick to dsl. it doesn't slow down like cable
  4. that's what I do but the picture quality isn't that great. even ones that are over 1 gig in size often are nowhere near a blue ray or a dvd in progressive scan mode. which is really apparent when viewing them on a larger tv. I have a smaller 32" lcd in the bedroom and hooked up to my computer via dvi to hdmi out it's still not the greatest. even though it says it's playing in 1080P on the tv. it looks more like a vcr. I can live with most of them and it's good for checking out a movie and if I like it I usually buy it on blue ray.
  5. yep heard about it on NPR today. (yes I listen to NPR bitches). ol netflix would have gone under in no time.
  6. well if anyone wants what I was talking about. its adding the quick launch feature xp and vista had to the taskbar. http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-7/add-the-quick-launch-bar-to-the-taskbar-in-windows-7/
  7. oops. I've upgraded to a larger harddrive and I can't remember all the settings a features I had. like I found how to add windows flip 3D to the taskbar but as a tiny icon not a big one like the ones over by the start menu. and happen to find that god mode thing. and I'm trying to recall how I removed all the arrows on the shortcuts.
  8. pretty cools stuff, check this out... you can make a file on your desktop to control pretty much everything in windows 7 without having to go through the control panel. it's called god mode (or anything you want to call it actually). and its for real...no downloads... right click on your desktop and crate a new folder name it, " god mode. {ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}" (don't forget the period after god mode and don't type the " " ) the icon should change and now you have access to control everything...
  9. sodium hypochlorite solution is pretty hazardous. Sodium hypochlorite is a strong oxidizer. Oxidation reactions are corrosive, solutions burn skin and cause eye damage Household bleach and pool chlorinator solutions are typically stabilized by a significant concentration of lye (caustic soda, NaOH) as part of the manufacturing reaction. Skin contact will produce caustic irritation or burns due to defatting and saponification of skin oils and destruction of tissue. The slippery feel of bleach on skin is due to this process. Mixing bleach with some household cleaners can be hazardous. For example, mixing an acid cleaner with sodium hypochlorite bleach generates chlorine gas. Mixing with ammonia solutions (including urine) produces chloramines.
  10. I was on the hate walmart bandwagon for many years. until I got sick of paying an extra $9 at the autoparts store for a wiper blade. I can buy a anco blade for $4.57 at walmart or $14 at the auto parts store. can of 134a freon walmart $9 auto store $18. some movies at walmart average $12-15. best buy, $19-30. sorry but I'll swallow my pride for those kinds of savings
  11. and you and I get fined $1500 if you don't file a tax return (even if you had no job)so they can give it to a illegal... a law abiding citizen gets penalized for being law abiding in this country.
  12. yeah I hear that industry is about as bad as the cable/sat installers. who are always hiring. for a reason...
  13. cats and dogs can eat meat only and be healthy. we require all the other shit. I know someone that has fed his dogs chicken ONLY for over 9 years now. and they seem pretty happy and healthy (full of energy too) If I could live on pizza and steak I'd be really happy.
  14. sounds like he's screwed then. lol oh well sounded a little bs'ish to me when he read me the letter. I figured it was a way to trick him to bring them the title. (yeah I'm a skeptic) what sucks is his insurance (progressive) will give him a policy for full coverage for 6 months. the loan will be paid off before that. so he'll be stuck paying full coverage for the remainder of the time. plus the interest rate of the laon...that's gotta sting lol oh well, let this be a life lesson. learned the hard way. but for some reason he's acting like he has to come up with the full amount right away. so there might be something he isn't telling me...time to do some digging lol. naa I don't give a shit. he's the dumbass lol
  15. why did they let him walk out the door without it in the first place? btw, it wasn't a loan for the bike. I don't know the details or I'd tell you guys. it probably had that on the contract he signed. he's a little slow:nono:
  16. how can it go into default if he pays the payments on time and in full? I hope they fucked themselves and are just trying to scare him into bringing them the title. fuck he'll pay it off in another month or two. it's already been payed off by $700
  17. long story short, my brother took out a small (about $2k) personal loan and used his bike as collateral. the bank never asked for the title and never said anything about being required to carry full coverage on the bike. 6 weeks later he gets a letter from said bank that says he needs to surrender his title and show proof of full coverage insurance. my question is can they make you carry full coverage on it? I told him to tell them tough shit about the title. they didn't get it when they gave him the money, tell them to fire the guy who did it wrong.
  18. this has been a rumor flying around the net for some time now. I think it's a hoax again.
  19. I don't see how any of you get better rates with places like state farm or allstate. every time I do a quote with them they're always hundreds higher than progressive. my 2 trucks cost me $43 a month. everyone else was quoting me $100+
  20. you'd be surprised to know how much where you live has to play in your rates. oddly my rates went up when I moved to a nicer area of town with a garage. I figure it would go down but it went up $60 a year. and now your credit score can raise or lower your rates. I don't want or need full coverage so I pay just under $100 a year
  21. everyone has a dollar menu dude....just sayin.
  22. looks like she's taking a bath:lol:
  23. that video is 100% fake. but a bike will stay up because of the gyroscopic effect of the wheels. same reason a headshake will stop on it's own. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhFtg7xM1DM
  24. that's about right for FULL coverage. if you don't really need it go with liability I pay $100 a year for progressive. progressive just wants to know the CC's of the engine
