  1. 100% serious. go to a car auction sometime. if the bids don't meet what the seller wants, no one wins the auction even if you were the highest bidder. often the seller isn't even there and the auction house calls the seller to see if they will accept the bid or not. just because you beat everyone else bidding on it doesn't mean you automatically own the car. when you "win" the bidding, the auctioneer will say your bid price and say "with an if". that's what made me laugh when I read his thead and said something about consumer protection stuff. he's obviously new to auctions. I wouldn't cave to him no matter what he did. and I'd sue him for slander if he went around the net slandering my business.
  2. it doesn't matter. in a auction the seller doesn't have to sell it for what you won the bid for. that's just how it is. now they might be able to dispute it if he met the reserve. but i still don't think they can make him sell it.
  3. I think you suck if you don't take him riding. of course I'd hate for you to have to call an ambulance..
  4. actually you can't do that. you have to look at the posts side. ask my dad who had the city make him change it.
  5. just imagine all that fake chrome on the grill peeling off and the big giant headlights turned yellow and rust in the wheel wells in the back.. that's what a ford looks like in 4-5 years....
  6. that guy is a tool. it's a auction. the seller can refuse to sell the item. that's how auctions work. consumer protection laws..he's dumber than a bag of hammers.
  7. you call $6-$8 very well? they're $100+ new. most batteries can be desulfated with a charger and cleaned and sold for $30. a lot of autoparts stores sell "reconditioned" batteries.
  8. well they went back up. now stop having heart attacks for no reason... http://www.wlwt.com/money/28814619/detail.html
  9. find people wanting their old v pan awnings torn down that covers their patios. iv'e walked out of scrap yards with 3 and 400 dollars before. plus the price to tear it down of $100.
  10. I guess people are going to have to get real jobs now.... honestly though, the average joe has no business investing in the stock market anyway. you're not making much money unless you dump 50-60k into it.
  11. I'm not really impressed when things like this are made by a actual film crew that does this for a living. show me one done by a bunch of students or kids in the back yard and put together on their home computer
  12. don't laugh I know someone that sold a 94 katana for $3500 on craigslist. no one broke the dude's arm to make him pay for it.
  13. some guy on localriders.com has a 94 FZR 600 for sale also. needs some work from the sounds of it. $600 http://www.localriders.com/forums/showthread.php?p=146232#post146232
  14. OEM yamaha pads weren't worth a shit. I went with ferodo sinter and never looked back. they work without a doubt better than galfer sinter. I can't say about EBC. except most people complain they make too much brake noise. if you can find some ferodo ST pads get them. you won't regret it. plus they've lasted me 2-3 times longer than the stock pads did. which only lasted about 12k miles. my bike has had the same set of ferodo pads on it since 12k miles and now has 40k. http://www.braketech.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=86&Itemid=104

  19. so the game is somone sees a bottle of smirnoff and then picks it up, sets it back down then chugs the drink they have? seriously WTF is supposed to be happening in that video?
  20. no it's a R6 swing arm. you got the frame correct. http://www.kawasakitriplesclub.com/fooktc/forum/viewtopic.php?p=19458#p19458 the engine is a kaw tripple (2 stroke)
  21. the worst thing about the heat is going from indoors to outside. that time it takes your body to acclimate is always the hardest part. once you get out in it for a length of time and get a good sweat going you don't notice it as bad. just remember to keep drinking water...stay away from caffeine and sugar. it does honestly make it worse. (I work outdoors).
  22. you'll never convince most of them to wear anything. I've realized there are many types that own motorcycles. some of us own them because we like to ride them. we're almost always the kind that wear riding gear 99.9% of the time. then you have the guys that own them because it's something cool to have. they almost never wear gear because they're not really into the riding aspect of owning a motorcycle. and they just don't care about getting any riding gear. they don't get it and don't care enough to get it. some of these people even try to tell me a helmet will break your neck in a crash.... the typical harley rider who never wears anything for the same reason. it's hot out yada yada yada. the same guy that rides around the block or up town to the bar. and they call that riding. a few years ago I went on a group ride with a handfull of guys from another forum. one of the guys not wearing anything but a helmet went down. rode right off the road and almost into a tree. he wasn't hurt all that much thankfully. but he still said he'd never wear a jacket in this heat..just minutes after he crashed.
  23. ahh. I see. I thought you were saying mine was cold tearing.
  24. naa...this guy knows how to do it.... http://www.kawasakitriplesclub.com/fooktc/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2655&start=0
