    Saturday Ride

What a great ride with great friends.....no "parades", "trains","pirates", "feet firsts", "trailers", or any other "goofiness"..just 3 guys on well matched bikes at a "spirited" pace on greats roads in s.e. Ohio By the time ferret gets home he will have some "serious" miles in today.... I ended up with 292. We took 146, to 78, to 536, to7, to 255, to Rt26 into Marietta. Then Rt7 to 550...monarksky split off in Marietta, ferret, and I split up at 550, and Rt13, he took RT50 toward home from Marietta....
  2. I got my EXO1000 yesterday, and wore it last evening......so far, so good. I have a EXO 400 that I wear a lot, my main Helmet is a Arai Quantum, but after only one ride, I really like the EXO1000. The flip down inner shield works great with glasses, the venting seems good (although it wasn't that hot out). Great deal for 100 bucks IMO........

    Howdy People

    Welcome.................!!!!!!!!!
  4. Here's a site for some "Dragon Slayers".....from ETR Gotta luv it http://slayerhater.com/
  5. I've got a Fat Boy.......we bought it for 2up riding. Not my favorite, I ride my Versys 99% of the time. The Fat Boy is good for what it's made for(it isn't a sport/performance bike) but it will go down the road 70-80-90mph all day (just came back from a 4 day 1500 mile trip onit). It was great on the BRP at 40-55mph, or on the interstate 70-90mph. It's a 010 96CI....it has NO POWER, low end, roll on, or anything else. I may be biased, because I've ridden a FZ1, a FJR, and my Versys for the last 10 years........... I wouldn't want it for my only bike, but for 2up, or just "cruising" it's good.
  6. Stay safe..........Wayah Rd. has lot's of gravel, and chip n seal on it. I've been down there twice this year....
  7. I say Hawks Nest on RT60 in WV.....I take I77 to Marietta, RT7 north to ST Mary's WV..across the bridge turn left on RT2, about 1/2 mile ti RT16 to Gaully Bridge, then left on RT60 up the hill to Hawk's nest. Then 60 to I77, and slab it back home..... Great ride 16 is awesome 60 up to Hawks nest is awsome....
  8. Welcome from Newark..............
  9. This is one of my favorite's.... I take RT16 from Newark to RT146, 146 until it dead ends into RT78, 78 to RT 800, 800 south to RT255, 255 to RT7 , left, or north on RT7 to RT536, 536to RT78, 78 back to McConnellsville (there's a detour now to RT83 to RT60) Then RT60 north back to RT70,40, or 16 back home.... I've got a bunch more, I'll post a few at a time.........

    376

Just got back from riding to McConnellsville for breakfast at the Blue Bell....We decided to take 376 out of there, I hadn't been on it for a long time, and actually forgot about it until someone on rideohio started a thread. It's probably one of the best roads in Ohio, (at least the part in Morgan County). It runs between McConnellsville, and Gaysport on RT60.....I will put it back on my radar for sure !!!!!!
  17. Prolly one of the ones that were just stolen at the Deals Gap Resort........
