Just got back from riding the parkway yesterday....We took 4 days to get to Cherokee. We've rode the parkway many times, but never taken time to stop, and look at stuff.........Great week of riding, lots of good roads off of the parkway also !!! The FJR was great, I love it...not so much at first, but after owning it a year, and 10K miles it fits me perfect.....145 HP, good ergo's , good handling, and storage... If you haven't ridden the parkway it's a "must do" for a motorcyclist IMO, it's not a "racetrack", but unbelievable scenery, and lots of great "twistie" roads off of it.....

I work for the Newark P.D. I maintain the vehicles...install all of the electronics (light bars, camera's, computers, radio equipt., radar, siren cages, etc.)... I am a civilian employee...not a sworn officer.

Crossbreed supertuck.....the BEST IMO............

I had a great time this weekend also.........That was by far the largest group that i've ever led (48 bikes).. I had a great time, but didn't get to talk to as many people as I would have liked to..

Was it you guys who blocked the road at 36, and 715 for us and the train I was pulling ??????????????

Since RD350's/400's have been my favorite bikes, i'd buy one in a minute...

I usually lock mine.....most of the time, I have a coated cable with a small lock, and lock my coat, and helmet. You can get coated cable from a hardware store, and the lock. (cheap) Jurt make 2 loops on the cable, and get the lead things to hold the loops. Then you can lock it around anything on the bike......

I'd be there in a minute, but i've got to lead the rideohio.org ride tomorrow......from the responce, I think you've hit on something that people are interested in....faster that cruiser speed, but not kneedragger speed. I would be in for a ride like that next month....

I'll be leading a ride for rideohio.org Saturday from the Mohican Reservation, on those same roads that you are talking about......looks like it will be 75+ bikes, with varios types of bikes/rider skills. We will prolly be in Dresden at the Depot around 1:30.... The route is posted on www.rideohio.org Because of the number of bikes, it will be sloooooow I predict....

I think we'll head over about 11:30.......gonna be hot !! (over 100 heat index)
