IMO....You can buy a whole lot more bike, for a whole lot less money. I like them, but maintenance on Ducati's scares me. I ride 10-15K per year. Any standard/naked bike would be better I think (Kawasaki Z1000, Yamaha FZ1, etc.)

I just sold a 99 Thunderbolt that belonged to a friend of mine. He died in March, and I sold it for his wife. It had a Mikuni carb, Crane ignition, Supertrap muffler, and some sort of removable luggage rack. 9K miles. It ran/looked great. I sold it for $2500.00. I had never rode a Buell, but I've owned several Harley's in the past. The thing I noticed it how bad it vibrated at idle, but soon as you came off idle it smoothed right out. Fun bike to ride, don't know if I would ever own one. Anyway this was a few months ago, and nobody was beating the door down to buy it......The guy who bought loves it.

I think your talking about Obetz...............they have one.

As the owner of 2 Versys...................a "dirt bike" they ain't. They are one of my favorite bikes ever though !!!! If you look on Kawasaki's website, they are listed as a sportbike...not so much that either, but way closer than a dirtbike IMO..............

Even though it's perfectly legal...........I think open carrying is a bad thing. It only reassures the anti gun people, and LEO's of their thoughts on owning/carrying guns IMO. Like the idiot with the AR at the OBama town meeting a while back...Gives the "gun nut" thinking people plenty of "ammo" if you know what I mean...

I'm thinking about going to shoot tomorrow......I usually go to Ohio Valley in Lancaster.
