I dont give a fuck how you cook it, let it sit in the fridge 24 hours or at a minimum overnight before you eat it. It WILL taste better...I promise you.
I'd need a dedicated track bike before I'd make that leap. I can't place my only street ride in that kind of jeopardy. I may bug out early depnding n the length of the ride...if I do end up going. I need to spend some QT with the familia. At the minimum...I'll meet you guys at the start point and bless the bikes. Which for me usually includes urination of some sort. You're welcome.
I'm sitting in MIA right now....debating whether I can get away with a KTM track...a vacation too the Caymans...and a SEO ride when my family is coming into town. Hmmmmm.
I was there in Novice..but got bumped up to Intermediate after the first session. I had a blast...and I'm thinking of doing it again. The RC8 had more balls than I expected...but it was a bit twitchy because of not being dialed in for my weight. I ended up bouncing around a little more than I would normally (my sternum is bruised)...but after 2 sessions I was comfortable enough to open it up a little. I was also smart enough to take myself off the track when I was fatigued. That bike is nimble...and it lulls you into throwing it into a corner as fast as you can when you should probably be taking it easier. Agaain..I had a blast and thanks to the KTM/Mid Ohio crew and my coach...Rob.
Just do some research on the light output, if you haven't already. I was looking at replacing the front end of my XB9 and it always seemed the best looking front ends were the ones with crappy output.
I'm picky...but I've seen some well done fighters. I've also seen garbage that really should be on the street, but to each his or her own I guess. http://www.customfighters.com/
Or you can go the street fighter route. Regardless, both you AND the bike came out pretty good if you ask me. Glad to hear you're OK. By tomorrow you should be through through the worst of any injuries.
