ND, Just finished Fri-Sat-Sun 12 hr shifts. Off today and going to try to head out for a few hours after the domestic duties completed. Not enough time to get up your way for twisty fun. I start a 6 day off stretch on thursday so I'm definitely going to be logging some miles. Will keep an eye out for any ride threads.

I'm definitely riding tomorrow. How far south are you planning to come? I'm right in the middle of the good stuff(southeast OH) but could head north to meet up with the group.
  7. Welcome... I'm just over the hill from "Blaire".

  11. Very nice CR... Obviously well cared for and maintained. Wish I were in the market for one. GLWTS...
  12. Trailer is sold. Nick, it nice meeting and doing business with you. I hope the trailer serves you as well as it did for me.
  13. LOL!!! psychological defect of mine Bam... Don't you need a trailer???
  14. Selling my single rail m/c trailer. I'ved owned this for 14yrs. Always garaged when not in use. New hubs/bearings approx 5yrs ago. New tires 2 yrs ago. Bearing buddies. Was originally a 2 cycle trailer and is fairly heavy duty. No rust. 1 7/8" hitch. I bought a foldable 2 rail trailer so this needs to find a new home. $325 OBO. Txt: 740-391-4527
  15. I rode most of the above mentioned roads last sunday including 536 in both directions. All the above cautions and comments definitely apply, especially to 536. 536 is positively treacherous due to the tar strips strategically placed in many of the turn entrances. With the elevated temps even a moderate pace produced some interesting slides. The decreasing radius right-hander(when heading east) never fails to suprise, even when expecting it. 260 from Rt7 to Marr is fun. Still a bit dirty in some turns but manageable. 255 was still flagged as closed but you can easily negotiate the construction zone once around the barriers. A plus is there is very little traffic on it due to it being "closed". Have a safe ride guys.
  16. Looks like this may be what the Hypermotard wasn't... More of a Motard and a less of a sportbike. I like that the engine was sourced(designed) by BMW. The checkbook is getting itchy...
  17. +1 wish I had seen this saturday PM'ed if SPF falls thru and Revelstoker changes his mind
  18. A group of us was down there 2 years ago. We used Erwin TN as a base and spent 3 days exploring the area. Roan is very entertaining! The temperture change from base to summit was an eye opener.... especially in fully ventilated leathers! I'm heading back down there in the fall for a few days for fun. Can't wait!
  19. Great loop UP. Be careful, we had several severe storms with very heavy rain down this way (Barnesville/StClairsville/Woodsfield) last nite. There's sure to be debris on the roads. I'm hoping to get out this afternoon and do 145>556>7>260>537>255.
  20. Pauly..... I(we) need a ride report from your pilgrimage to the Mecca of twitsy fun... Its going to be late september before I get down there this year.
  21. Welcome! Love the S1000R. Definitely on my bucket list. I'm just up the road in St.Clairsville and usually get down your way every weekend, sometimes on weekdays as well depending on my schedule. Post up when you're are headed out if you need some company.
  22. Killer deal on these. Just picked up a set of LV Oval Titanium slip-ons with y-pipe for my Super Duke from a local dealer... $396.00 shipped! Retail from KTMHutt - $949.99!!!
  23. If I thought I'd be getting another Sumo, I'd keep it. Fits perfect, very comfortable. But, I already have too many helmets and looking to get a carbon HJC RPS-10 for christmas. Just dont need the RKT. Paid $154 for it.
  24. Hey Tpoopa... I'm liking the SD alot. All stock(right now). All day comfort. Still need to get the plates to lower the foot pegs. Other than the peg position, its really comfortable for me. Also, I'm less of a hooligan on it than my prev. 3 bikes, especially the Aprilia... You guys riding this weekend?
