  1. i love that bike, ever since i saw some guy riding one down at the gap. that thing is just amazing, but i guess they are a maintenance whore
  2. theres other ways to the gap besides highway. i have trailered to the gap once, and i have ridden twice... ill probably never trailer down again. getting there is half the fun.. i love having good stories of the whole trip to come back with.
  3. that would be amazing.. that guy has some balls of steel.. that is cookin around that track. and man that would be alot of braking points, apexes, what speed to be carrying into what turn, and what not.. i guess if you do it enough on that track it would be second nature, but still that nuts.
  4. rain making party lol and at the end.. Pennypacker is there last name lol.. kramer on seinfeld used to use that as a fake name lol A.J. Pennypacker
  5. left side of fairing about 3/4 the way down on my old VFR http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LeK0q78JZJM on the back of the tail section of the f4i track bike.. i love this position, cause you can see the bike, the rider, and the movements. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtaRjjPeqZI
  6. lost... were you on 555 saturday.. i could have sworn i saw you
  7. If your wearing the centers out id look at a sport touring tire. Michelin pilot road 2 or 3 or pirelli angel st.. Both tires have more grip than youll use. Both are dual compound tires. Be perfect for you
  8. awesome bike, although the pikes peak edition is over priced for some carbon bits and what not

  11. i rode 555 from 676 up to 37 on saturday. so for that stint its open
  12. I dont think id mind paying the money for bike with superior components, nit saying the ninja isnt a good bike, i just prefer the adjustability and better technology in the duc. Hopefully when its time to buy i can find a used one at a decent price
  13. $15K for the base 1200 mulltistrada
  14. the price on the 1200S touring is $20k alot of money yes, alot of bike for the money? yes electronically adjustable compression and rebound on the Ohlins forks.. ahh awesome! so much about this bike is insane in the technology department. and its super capable from what im reading. i just need to ride one to make sure seating position is to my liking. thats alot for me on a bike that i will ride all day.
  15. Ducati Multistrada 1200S touring more i read up on this bike the more i like it. i dont think it would suit me very well for 2 up, but for a solo tourer it would be amazing. i definately need to ride one at some point. ill make sure i get down to motohio's ducati demo day when it comes around next year.
  16. Yes we have good roads, just gotta know where they are
  17. well me and the wife did a full day of riding yesterday, right around 400 miles. we headed out from hilliard and took the boring way back (I70 E) to my parents house in flushing oh. once there we ran 149 over into belmont and kept on it out till about centerville were we then jumped on rt 9 towards armstrong mills. those roads are taken pretty well care of, with almost no patching, very smooth road surface, and little to no traffic. once in armstrong mills we headed on 148 for a few till we arrived at rt7. we were taking rt 7 towards marrietta, untill i saw a road i had been wanting to take for a while and figured today is as good as any. so i hung a right onto 556.. this is a great road, has some patching here and there, but a great road to ride, with some elevation changes and some good sweepers, and some tight corners as well. 556 turns into 145 we followed this out till we arrive at the junction for 800.. taking 800 south which is a beautiful road, we run it down till we meet up with route 7 again. 7 will take us into marietta. we stopped to eat at the town house at 230 front st. this is a nice place to eat some wings or a good steak sandwich. there are plenty of good eateries down on front st, so you wont have a problem finding some good food. so now with our bellies full it was time to hit the road again. after a look over the map i decided i wanted to jump on 676 w since i havent been on that road yet. im glad i did that road is amazing, i just wish the pavement was smooth through out the entire road, unfortunately it wasnt. some patching and some rough road on parts of it. good thing was no traffic! we kept on 676 till we reached 555 north. im sure everyone knows that route! 555 was pretty clear of gravel and horse turds and made for some good riding with little traffic on it. we remain on 555 till we hit 37 near new lexington. 37 is a pretty relaxing ride but youll need it after the more technical riding on 555. 37 eventually turns into 13 which we took until we reached 256. we ran 256 into pickerington and stopped for a bite to eat at old bag of nails before we headed on back to our place. i made a route on the harley ride planner so if anyone is interested in doing this route you can have directions and print them out. or if your just curious and want to see the route on a map etc. http://rideplanner.harley-davidson.com/rideplanner/share/429143
  18. oh really.. maybe ill have to call him, see if he can do me a better price than Traxxion's website. i know that if you get the externally adjustable model its about $300 more, but it would be worth it
  19. yeah i figured i would be very pleased with the Traxxion dynamics kit, but i have spend enough money at the moment and im gonna hold off on the kit till winter. i dont really want the bike to be down for a few weeks either. i ahve to send my forks out to them so they can install there catridge kit. im sure it will be well over my expectations and finally be completely satisfied lol
  20. unfortunatley there isnt a solution for a entire fork swap. if it was possible, i would already be on that route. the next best thing out there for the bike is the Traxxion Dynamics AK-20 fork Catridge kit that is rebound and compression adjustable. most likely that is the route i will take, but i didnt feel like shelling out the $1100 for them right now.
  21. oh come on now. im nearly there lol. i honestly love the street glide. its almost everything i want in a bike. its about 85% of what i would want in a bike. any other bike i have ridden is not that close and it would be harder to get any other bike closer that starting with the street glide and getting it were i want. you need to ride my glide sometime, youll be surprised how this thing handles now that i have gotten alot of the "harley issues" fixed. if i didnt ride 2 up all the time. i would still have my viffer. but i do ride 2 up all the time, and we try to tour as much as possible. and this bike just works very well for that.
