  1. Bump...Dad will take any offer....he's really flexible with price, just wants the bike to be ridden.
  2. Its not firm. Wording should define that.
  3. You wouldn't believe the wind, rain, cold protection it provides in crappy weather though! Someone needs the bike for sale, it's a great all around sport tourer. I daresay the best in current production.
  4. They do make hard luggage, expensive though. I went with twisted throttle semi hard bags on mine. I've also got a touring windscreen and upgraded all the suspension with traxxion dynamics. Added a akropovic exhaust and had the ecu reflashed. The windscreen is 3 position manual adjustable so it doesn't have to stand up so high in nice weather. This is my bike...
  5. Totally agree with that. The seating is different, footpeg position is different. powerband, gearing, everything.
  6. It can be yours. Someone has got to want it. I've got the same bike, with modifications. I can say it's a great ride!
  7. Dad bought it last fall thinking he wanted a quasi track bike and something to hooligan around on. He never rode it and decided he's not going to. Only thing he's done is changed the oil and put on a newer set of Pirelli Angel GT tires. They've got about 2000 miles on them. Bike has under 6000 miles. In excellent condition. Any questions message me. Figure about $8000 asking price.
  8. I saw 119 in phx one time. Got stuck in traffic on the interstate too. I'm sure with the other cars and the blacktop it was much warmer than the 119. Full gear was uncomfortable, but prefer it to road rash.
  9. I am playing hookie and I will probably ride. It's an awesome day!

    Fish.

I love some good fresh caught grouper. Blackened and pan seared.
  11. I'm going within the next 5 years. Haven't quite got to where I can afford a trip that large. I play to do at least two weeks when I go.
  12. Welcome. Aesthetic finishers in piqua does powder coat too. Had them do my wheels years ago and they did a fine job.
  13. The lane splitting idea for me stands fine as a grey area. What I think would be a significant improvement in terms of creating some sort of law would be filtering for motorcycles at stop lights.
  14. At this point, if it still isn't out, seems like a hammer, adjustable wrench, and a bolt extractor are the best option.
  15. Mine have been good for going on two years and a couple thousand miles on my HF trailer. No help here.
  16. Hah, quite true. I don't spend much time going straight. Roads are pretty awesome down here.
  17. Man you guys aren't riding hard enough. I can only get about 6k on my 1000. Dad is getting 4k from his Connie on Michelin's and pirellis.
  18. Mine got a traxxion dynamics front fork upgrade, new tires, oil, brake fluid, coolant, auxillery taillight, ecu reflash, and a wash and wax.
  19. You could also cut down a hex key to make it fit.
  20. Outside of Nashville maybe. On the rare occasion that I find myself opposite a funeral procession, I no longer pull off to the side. I stop in the middle, that leaves those behind me no choice other than to stop.
  21. I tend to agree with most of earache. The section from wolf creek dam to around Jamestown, tn is good. I would take it to there and then decide if you wanna go slow and boring to i24 or cut across to 65 somewhere south of Nashville.
  22. 77 and sunny again. Just awesome for the first week of spring.
  23. I'm looking for a new toolbox. Snap on, Mac, Matco, Cornwell. Something professional grade. I want something in the 54+ wide, 25" deep, 40" tall range. I would like at least one full length drawer. Anyone have anything they're dying to get rid of and wanna make me a deal on?
  24. 6" of snow in Nashville in March! Come on spring time!
