  1. Been so focused on one thing that will make life so much better that I've quit putting effort into other important things in life. And now it appears what was supposed to make life awesome is ruining all those plans. Crazy how that works.
  2. I'm gonna bump this again. It's a brand new battery. Someone has got to need a battery. How about $150?
  3. I've got mine off my ninja 1000. I have the whole system. It was replaced with 100 miles on the bike.
  4. Bump. Make an offer. It needs to be used and I've already got one, don't need two.
  5. Title pretty much says it all. Here's details http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/product/antigravity16cellbattery/Batteries It's brand new never out of the box. I'm in TN so local pick up isn't very likely. $225 shipped.
  6. I've had a side by side, a bottom freezer, and clearly a top freezer trough the years growing up. Just bought a brand new fridge for my new house and I prefer a top freezer. The freezer has the most space on top. I can't stand bottom or side by sides.
  7. There's this one down here where I live. I feel like it's a fair price with room for negotiating. http://nashville.craigslist.org/mcy/4602116397.html
  8. Hah yeah. I've had good luck so far. I hope it stays that way! Screening and background checks, and getting to know the potential renter seems to really go a long way. I think it's easy to be selective right now because there are so many people that are renting.
  9. Buy some more property to rent out. Rental income seems to have pretty good returns.
  10. I'm all for the craft beers if I want beer. Like JohnG though, my work around the house and drink beer without getting full all day beer is always yuengling. It's levels beyond bud, Miller, etc in every league while still being a light-er beer.
  11. This is in the funny videos thread, still funny no less.
  12. Pr3 as far as I'm concerned are better than the pr4. Angels are outstanding. I think the angel and pr3 are near equals until the rain starts and the pr3 edges out the Pirelli.
  13. I'm in the car has no relevance to the shooting camp. Cops have a duty to protect, if Brown was running away and the cop was yelling surrender it's my opinion the cop has every right to shoot since Brown wasn't surrendering. He may not have been a threat to the cop anymore, but he had already assaulted the cop and was, at that point, a threat to society. It's also my opinion that a cop follows a different set of rules than a CHL holder. While a CHL citizen can not fire once the threat is gone, a cop can justify the threat being toward society as I've already said and still take the shot. I with hold my final opinion until more definitive evidence is out. Though it's becoming more clear each day.
  14. Finished my little heat shield bracket for my saddlebags...
  15. Oh thank goodness! I'll be down there in 3 weeks, couldn't get better news. Looking forward to the trip.
  16. My dad has the motoport and other than the raingear part of it not working as well as advertised he really likes it. Gonna bump this once, but it doesn't appear many wear gear other than leather.
  17. I don't think it'd be of any help to you really, but I'm in Nashville if that would help out on your trip either way as far as a place to stay or drop something off, etc.
  18. I'm considering buying all new riding gear and looking to get away from the racing leathers. They work fine and all, but they aren't the most comfortable for all the sport touring I do. I'd like to find a good 2 piece suit that has functional thermal, wind, and water protection. I'm somewhat budget minded too, thinking around $500 for jacket and pants. So my top pick right now is the macna line of gear sold by twisted throttle. There is also the motoport Kevlar gear, which is more than I want to spend. Olympia and tourmaster are contenders as well. For those that aren't wearing leathers what do you have for gear...nylon is obviously not an option. Looking for Kevlar, cordura, superfabric and other textile materials that won't melt and are abrasion resistant.
  19. I have good luck with mine. It's saved me countless times. The times I've encountered police using the laser gun it seems they can't hit the bike. Mine will sound off three or four times, but they never pull out and there has definitely been reason to a time or two. I ride a lot of two lane and back roads, the police usually just have their radar running, both of mine have picked up the signal in plenty of advance time for me to get slowed down.
  20. I've got both of the above. A Valentine one and an escort. Both perform well. I prefer the escort on the bike. I've got it wired to my headphones, instead of a visual I prefer audio. I'd sell the Valentine for a fair price possibly...maybe...I dunno...
  21. Looks about as accidental as could be. Stewart had his front wheels turned left and goosed the throttle to redirect the car at the last second when he finally saw the young hothead on the track. Those cars don't turn that well with only steering input. It's tacky dirt, a quick tap of the throttle breaks the rear end and turns the car much quicker than a steering input. I really didn't see a problem with the pass that put the kid into the wall. Tony was doing a slide job to take position. If the boy wanted to try to race Tony it's his choice, but in this case Tony made the pass, it was the boys responsibility to yield at that point. In the outlaws series, all those guys do that all the time, you take your chances trying to race someone on the outside when they've put a slide job on you. Overall, very poor decision by the young guy to get out of the car. I've spent many many years at dirt tracks watching my dad race, watching the all stars, the outlaws, etc...It's rare to see guys get out of the car. But some do, everyone has a breaking point with their tempers. Most are smart enough to get within a throw of the helmet, not stand in front of oncoming traffic. Edit: it should be noted also, Sprint cars aren't like NASCAR, they don't have mirrors or spotters or any assistance in knowing if they are clear or not. Tony had slow traffic on the inside of the track, was making the pass on the guy and wouldn't have known that he wasn't clear of him as he slid up the track. That responsibility goes on the driver being passed, either yield position or get put in the wall...he chose the wall and then got an attitude over his poor choice.
  22. I did this with my old zx6r. I had some old 1/4" walled, 3" ID aluminum tube stock I put on a CNC mill and put a bunch of holes in it and wrapped with FMF repack kit. It worked well for about two years. Would have worked longer I'm sure, but stuck a yosh can on it.
