It doesn't excite me much. I pretty much echo IP. I use the brake lever when coming to a stop so vehicles behind me know I'm stopping. That's the purpose of the lever. Just because I can stop without the use of brakes doesn't mean I should. It's ignorant to do so with traffic around.

If he can be successful with it, that's awesome. There's no way I'd let strangers use my tools. I don't like letting coworkers use them, people don't respect property. Tools are too expensive to let random people abuse

All car rental companies pit a hold on your card, same with hotels, gas stations, etc. Sounds like a bad customer service situation overall. I've used hertz and never had problems. The counter service usually isn't the best, and I prefer to do my booking online to get a better rate. I don't accept the gas waiver and I'm about 50/50 on the insurance waiver.

Good news. Brown recluse really aren't that bad. They are all over down here and there's no good way to exterminate them. I see them in the closet every once in awhile and in the crawlspace, but I've never seen one be aggressive. They always move away. If I ever get one on me I brush it off, they don't bite unless they are squeezed against your skin. Their fangs are super small and they can't bite through clothes either.

Have you tried any of the suggestions in this thread yet? It's hard to diagnose when you're not stating what you have and haven't checked, especially after you've been given multiple suggestions. -

Just saw on the news down here that Nashville with have the largest fireworks show in the country this year. -
He's not interested in selling to a dealer yet. It's encouraging to know what a dealer would give though. I think the $7500 asking price is pretty fair. And there is wiggle room at that price too

I had a 2008 Mazda 3 and at 106000 miles the transmission took a shit for no apparent reason. I liked it up til that point. Replaced it with a 2013 ford escape ecoboost. So far I'm liking it, engine is a bit weak, but for a daily driver it does everything I need at 26mpg avg.
