Restaurant Review: Cantina Laredo Polaris

yeah, it was just like being back in PR...language barrier and all. -
you as well. I am also pumped for the new season of It's Always Sunny. Can't wait to huff glue and sing songs with my casio.
-
^^ along the lines of what AJ was going at, what brand coilovers are they? Did you replace a factory rubber isolated top mount with a fancy-pants metal one that would make a WHOLE lot more noise?

As you can see from my current DD I still believe that the e36 M3 is one of the best bargains on the road. I bought it when it was a 5 figure car, now it's dwindled down to a 4 figure car. I don't have any intention of selling soon. As Justin mentioned, the e30 M3 is a great package...you just have to pay for it. Good condition ones are worth double what an e36 M3 brings these days. I somewhat kick myself for that one too, cause when I bought my car the e30 M3s and e36 M3s were going for about the same money....ooops.

Appreciated, but I go to Tinder Box because of the persons that work there always taking good care of me. Good people. I've been to Barclay and House of Cigar, both great shops, but just not my regular. Thanks for the tip on the Gurkha, I'll give it a whirl. I was actually smoking and drinking last night with Bob...at the Tinder Box. -
HA...thought it looked like a GoPro. I actually got the GoPro wide for Christmas, I've just not taken the time to make any good videos with it yet...hopefully this will be the motivation I need.
-
WAY pumped for this! It has been a long time coming, and I was worried it might never happen.
-
Good looking e30 Joe. I've seen a few of them now with the DS1 wheels from an e36 and a subtle drop and I think they look great, might be an inexpensive option for you.

if you're looking to go for the lavish side of things I'd say pick up a bottle of Jonnie Walker Blue and a Padron 1926 Anniversary Cigar. The smoke will run you about $40 and the bottle of Blue about $225 anywhere around here. For a bit more reasonable option, I'd say shoot for a Liga Provada #9 or a Tatuaje Brown Lable...both available at the Tinder Box at Easton for a bit over $15. For the scotch I'd hit up one of my favorites at any price, The GlenLivet 15 French Oak Reserve...buttery smooth finish that anyone would love.......you can thank me with a pour later. -
Good luck with that! I honestly believe there's no such thing as a sub $10K e30 M3....before you go finding listings to prove me wrong...it's because any that sell for less than $10K need enough work that in the end it'll still cost you into the 5 figures to have the car in the shape you'd want it. Clay, for you question, I think as mentioned it might be a truck thing. I love driving my old Dakota around...perhaps it's the bench seat and being able to put your arm up comfortably? Sub $10K cars I'd like to own? 510, SA/FB Rx7, Early VW Bug. I seem to come across cars in the $4-5K range that I'd enjoy driving, but I can't have another car, nor would I give up one of mine.

nice choice on using The Black Keys. What were you using for a camera? What'd you edit it with?
-
I know this wicked awesome detailer who in the almost 2 years I've had it has promised that we'd buff/polish the car but has never got around to it!!!! It just so happens that said detailer has an awesome camera too, but won't let me steal it to take pictures of my non-detailed car.

There's a great Puerto Rican restaurant on Cleveland Ave just south of 270, but you better have your Spanish touched up to be ready to order. -
sorry for any confusion Ryan, that comment was directed at the OP not you. I figured you weren't using that stuff.

I agree with everything said here, with a caveat on the spray polish. It (Honda polish for sure, and I'm sure others) contains a lot of silicone in it which could create problems for you if you use it regularly and decide to paint the bike down the road. I've heard tons of horror stories of causing fish eyes in paint even after proper prep. Just thought I'd give you the heads up. Also, when people generally use it they use rags that really create more scratches/damage and it'd be better off to leave dirty.

looks like your post got cut off at the end. Many of these are pretty good, so allow me to help the fun continue. - I would like to officially coin the phrase 'catching the swine flu' to be used as a way to make fun of a friend for hooking up with an overweight woman. Example: "Dave caught the swine flu last night." -I can't remember the last time I wasn't at least kind of tired. - Bad decisions make good stories -Whenever I'm Facebook stalking someone and I find out that their profile is public I feel like a kid on Christmas morning who just got the Red Ryder BB gun that I always wanted. 546 pictures? Don't mind if I do! - Is it just me or do high school girls get sluttier & sluttier every year? -If Carmen San Diego and Waldo ever got together, their offspring would probably just be completely invisible. -Why is it that during an ice-breaker, when the whole room has to go around and say their name and where they are from, I get so incredibly nervous? Like I know my name, I know where I'm from, this shouldn't be a problem.... -You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you've made up your mind that you just aren't doing anything productive for the rest of the day. -Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after DVDs? I don't want to have to restart my collection. -There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far. -I'm always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my ten page research paper that I swear I did not make any changes to. - "Do not machine wash or tumble dry" means I will never wash this ever. -I hate being the one with the remote in a room full of people watching TV. There's so much pressure. 'I love this show, but will they judge me if I keep it on? I bet everyone is wishing we weren't watching this. It's only a matter of time before they all get up and leave the room. Will we still be friends after this?' -I hate when I just miss a call by the last ring (Hello? Hello? Dammit!), but when I immediately call back, it rings nine times and goes to voicemail. What'd you do after I didn't answer? Drop the phone and run away? - I hate leaving my house confident and looking good and then not seeing anyone of importance the entire day. What a waste. -When I meet a new girl, I'm terrified of mentioning something she hasn't already told me but that I have learned from some light internet stalking. -I like all of the music in my iTunes, except when it's on shuffle, then I like about one in every fifteen songs in my iTunes. -Why is a school zone 20 mph? That seems like the optimal cruising speed for pedophiles... - As a driver I hate pedestrians, and as a pedestrian I hate drivers, but no matter what the mode of transportation, I always hate cyclists. -Sometimes I'll look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is. -It should probably be called Unplanned Parenthood. -I keep some people's phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call. -Even if I knew your social security number, I wouldn't know what do to with it. -Even under ideal conditions people have trouble locating their car keys in a pocket, hitting the G-spot, and Pinning the Tail on the Donkey - but I’d bet my ass everyone can find and push the Snooze button from 3 feet away, in about 1.7 seconds, eyes closed, first time every time... -My 4-year old son asked me in the car the other day "Dad what would happen if you ran over a ninja?" How the hell do I respond to that? -It really pisses me off when I want to read a story on CNN.com and the link takes me to a video instead of text. -I wonder if cops ever get pissed off at the fact that everyone they drive behind obeys the speed limit. -I think the freezer deserves a light as well. -I disagree with Kay Jewelers. I would bet on any given Friday or Saturday night more kisses begin with Miller Lites than Kay. -The other night I ordered takeout, and when I looked in the bag, saw they had included four sets of plastic silverware. In other words, someone at the restaurant packed my order, took a second to think about it, and then estimated that there must be at least four people eating to require such a large amount of food. Too bad I was eating by myself. There's nothing like being made to feel like a fat bastard before dinner.

I like drag racing, but honestly it's never been high enough on my priority list to build a car for it. There are just other things I like more. I also don't think the percentage of imports is as small as you might think.

you going bald bald? I thought you were just buzzing it?

Always liked this kid....especially the scratch noises he does about half way thru

don't know if I'd call that 98 conversion "done", but props for at least putting up pictures and making an attempt at a decent intro. I used to own a DSM so I know the fun/agony of owning one. Welcome to the site.
