  1. turn a wheel in the 24hrs of Daytona....honestly if I was able to complete this absolute dream (wouldn't matter if I only made it half a lap before the car blew up with me in it)....it would be all I need in life.

    JESUS

YES...you just saw TWO!! GRS makes the baddest rotaries in the land. And yes it was a FC in the right lane....also rotary.

    Zombieland

I almost pissed myself during the scenes with said special-unannounced-guest. GREAT movie, will definitely own when it comes available.
  4. blocked at work (for being a blog or wiki). Cliffs? My wife has one.

    BMW Guys?

that was the line of thinking, but they betrayed themselves sometime in the e46 lineup. Now it's all jacked up.
  6. glad to see it showed up Bob, it looks HOT! BTW, love the pics. I tried taking close ups of my Carrera with Andy's camera and couldn't get crap to come out right, may have to hit you up for some close-ups of it. ....and yes....people still drop serious coin on watches. If you take care of them they last pretty much indefinitely. I full on intend for some of my watches to be passed down thru my family.
  7. isn't it bad karma or something if i leak oil all over inside the zoo? too Exxon Valdez for the animals or something?
  8. Zaino Leather in a Bottle.....really...it works and smells the best by far.
  9. the only issue I have with it is that every time it comes up on the bill they say that the workers will not be from Ohio and they'll look for experienced personnel from other states.....now I can understand the dealers, pit bosses, and security people, but can't everyone else be from Ohio? Also, does anyone have clarification as to if they'd pay Ohio taxes on the Casino's profit? I know that was questioned the last time it came on the ballot.
  10. looks good Derek, just don't call me when it's time to do the wheel bearings.
  11. silver FD? If so that was me in the Rx7, and my buddy (who's not on here) helping me pick up my wife's car. Sorry I didn't see you, I had to get in and out unfortunately.
  12. I was supposed to have tickets to one of the advance showings tonight, but unfortunately couldn't get another ticket for my buddy that's coming in town from South Dakota tonight....so I'll have to wait I suppose. I'm way pumped for this though.

    New here!

Welcome Rodd, I've not met anyone who regularly tracked Mercedes before, it's definitely interesting.
  14. I should be there with big Rob in the caddy.
  15. as mentioned, the c=coupe. The e46 began in 99. You're going to want to know some type of maintenance history, and likely it'd be worth doing a PPI at a place like Auto Assets. Major things to look for are if the radiator and waterpump were replaced before. If not, then expect to do them. It's a timing chain. Overall they're a very enjoyable car to drive, and can be a fun DD that gets decent mileage (great compared to your truck). I'd recommending shooting over to http://www.bimmerforums.com and reading up on some of the FAQs they have there if you're seriously interested.
  16. dig it much more with the drop. When are you going to bring the Corolla out to cars and coffee though?
  17. I apologize to Rob as I've been quite tardy in making this thread. My wife's Mazda6 had become pretty much a DIY nightmare this summer. Being driven each winter and about 20K miles a year has finally started to take its toll. Rob was able to quickly, accurately, and cost effectively replace the shocks, struts, front and rear pads/rotors, replace the rear calipers, and perform a full brake bleed on the car. All of this despite the known stripped front caliper bolt and I'm sure mulitple other breaking/stripped bolts that I could no longer deal with before going crazy. cliffs: Great work, great prices, honest guy that should get everyone's business. Thanks Rob.
  18. Make sure you take plenty of pictures for those of us not making it to the track this year...
  19. I always wanted that "Dreaming in Red" Ducati poster!!!!
  20. sounds like fun. Everyone I've talked to that drove Summit Point really liked it. Who are you doing the school with/thru? Who's M3?
  21. it's here, you just have to pay to play. Most of it is down in Florida where all the rotary boys from PR went.
  22. I did a tour-de-Octoberfest beers over the weekend. Sampled 9 including my ever favorite Sam Adams, which surprisingly wasn't my favorite this year. Brooklyn Brewery Octoberfest was my fav this year.....mind you I wasn't very scientific and pouring them into tastes...I just drank all 9 and decided which was the best as I went. I also really liked Flying Dog's Octoberfest and Great Lakes Octoberfest.
  23. said 646 at the end of the video.
  24. hot! Glad to see Defined continuing good 3 rotor work.
