  1. Most have seen it, and its still a great video. They also released their 2011 edition: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLxI74AjsTg
  2. It's great to hear you both are taking part in the new business and thank you greatly for the sponsorship! I know I'll be in contact a lot through the season for many tire changes!
  3. Alexa or Barnacle Bill's Racing Leather in Ky. I had him fix my blown seams & patches in my suits Legs, Arms and Back. He even cleaned my old suit up for only $116! All that with return shipping and the suit feels super soft.
  4. Hey Brian, You get ym text about this thread? I have a Dell 20" available you can use. Sure we can work something out. Bring it by Monday even?
  5. I think I did two days in Novice before moving up. Mid-pack my first day, then front pack the next. And even then, made sure my coach was ok with the bump up.. When in doubt, ask for a coach to go around with you to view your skills and give you an honest opinion. If they don't let suggest you go up, please don't take it as a personal attack. They are only looking after your personal safety and some of that for your machine. Ask what your biggest problem area's are and get someone to focus on that with you so you can progress and be happy. There is a HUGE difference in skill sets in Intermediate, those that are new to it from Novice and other that are sandbagging from going into advanced. Many times, that's why its nicknamed the "Meatgrinder" or "Interidiot" group...as most of the crashes usually occur there.
  6. If its the LD-4655VX, I'm intersted and call dibs!
  7. Got my call back from Todd today about the website. It was a very pleasant talk and the problem with registration happened when he changed servers/software. The new system didn't have the discount stuff plugged in yet, so when you register for the Saturday TD+Sunday races you don't get the auto discount yet. He said that should be up and running soon. As for my early bird registration, he will just invoice me the difference for the TD minus the discounts. Here's the Copy/paste from MS website for those here that are lazy.

    Tire sales

Figure at least 6 sets of DoT's, but thats always playing it on the safe side really. Of the 4 sets I ordered, it was 2 sets of Cup "B", 1 Cup/P1 "A" and a new set of rains. The current set would prolly work, but its nice to go with fresh. Going to sell my old set for $75 probably and have a good amout of life left.

Ordered 4 sets of DoT's already, but gonna need to buy another 3 sets to get me through the year. Just cant afford it all right now. =/
  10. Already a step ahead of you and looking at these for mine: http://www.amazon.com/63-2575-63-Aircharger-Intake-Kit/dp/B001C4OBH6 & http://www.amazon.com/Magnaflow-16463-Stainless-Cat-Back-Exhaust/dp/B002MEVULK
  11. Theres a difference between close competition and getting nuked. You went with Nuked... But luckily we are all novices where as "B", Neyra, Wrobel, and the others are experts.
  12. But but but.... (Big puppy dog eyes)
  13. I'll be doing the whole season pending no crashes/major malfunctions. Probably both 600 Sbk Races and maybe a mini 20 here and there.
  14. Lol, slacker. I just got my bike back from Reuben's and are putting the plastics back on. Ordering the GPR, New Pads, Bars, Spare levers and getting ready for the new season. Just need new bodywork to get in stock for that and we are gtg! Testing the new clutch, FP Shift Kit and shock changes in March, so hopefully all goes well. Ps...doing MS this year and dropping from WERA.
  15. That might be the only way he's in front of me!
  16. Intermediate isn't really that strict. -Oil Drain Plug, Oil Filter, Oil Filler Cap, Approved Coolant. (Depends on Org) Most of us use Distilled water+water wetter. Advanced is pretty close to what you listed. Can't say that brake lines/banjo's have to be done, but its always nice to play it safe. As for gear, add in full gauntlet/over the wrist gloves. And DoT Helmet thats less then 5 years old (Manufacture date). As a general rule, if your running OEM plastics and lights, unplug the lights if possible so nothing catches fire. And tape anything that can crack/break. I always used painters date initially then used black duct tape to make sure nothing came off.
  17. I called the motoseries # and left a message for Todd. I'm not sure if that # is the best for him though (6686). I went ahead and registered for both 600 sbk races so I can hopefully be up towards the front.
  18. Is the TD still going to be discounted for racers if racing on Sunday? I went to register for the stuff yesterday and it was all full price. (160+150) for the first round at Nelson. Still waiting on my license to arrive, but I know he was at the IMS and dealing with all that.
  19. I watched I Superbiker 2011 last night and didn't really like it. Still think Faster is #1, Fastest #2. Yet to watch TT3d
  20. .204 would get the job done. Easy caliber also being .223 in a good bolt action and cheap ammo. Best gun I have used was a .220 swift. Man that thing was nasty to the prairie dogs even out to 300 yards. Contact 8mmDale on here for better info an prices. 6147777678
  21. Fail lol. I'm suprized at the top Hp on Theresa's bike. I would have expected at least 105+. We may have to discuss some options if you want to try and gain a little more out of it! As for tuning, I think I have just about everyone else beat. Somewhere I have pictures from my tuning in Feb/March of 2010 when there was 4+ inches of snow on the ground and temp of around 15 lol. I'm sure Brian hate's me for that still!
