  1. I would, but the center exhaust bracket is cracked in half and I am waiting on a new one. Ugh for Arrow Exhaust parts being 1 month ordering......
  2. I am waiting on the exhaust gaskets and last of my stuff to come in next week. Once I get it all in I'll be giving you a call. Any chance of an opening around the first/second week in Feb? Prolly on a Monday or Tues.
  3. +3 to Speigler Lines. Have them on the 1krr and installing on the 600rr. Easy to turn the banjo, made in Dayton, Ohio and cheap if you know the right place. Got my SS Race versions for $85 Front, $45 rear.
  4. I pretty much finished parts ordering today. Found a great deal and ordered a new Ohlins 30mm front kit+springs($100 more then a 20mm kit) and a Penske 8987 Triple Clicker rear Shock. Now I just have to wait for it all to get in and pray my tax return gets in before hand. And the Vortex Rearsets came in yesterday! One day, I am going to have to find time to put it all on bike.
  5. I had phone problems and lost #' from my phone. Can you PM your # again? God knows I will probably need some trying to get this all on at some point and time. And the offer is greatly appreciated!
  6. I went with the PRE compound rear. Hopelessly taking from STG PRE Compound - This is a Full Competition Power Race Series compound. We suggest this tire for any racing or track day rider requiring a true premium race tire offering lap record style levels of grip. As compared to the medium and medium soft tires the PRE has an increased level of grip with faster wear. So I guess you would call this the "soft" rear as the PRD (next level) would be a super soft? (Medium, Medium Soft, PRE, PRD) Yes, I tried to put everything you gave me into a list and got everything I could afford. And just about everything I got for a heck of a price from Jason at extreme superbikes. Will definitely be giving him more business in the future. I was between Arrow and Leo for this bike. I went with the Leo System as parts seemed to be more readily available and it was slightly cheaper. The Arrow Gp Replica system on my 1krr had the center canister bracket fracture in half in the cold....order time for the bracket alone is almost a month at a cost of $40!
  7. Ever have one of those days where you just know when you get home, your going to feel like a kid in a candy store? Well for me, today was that day! The majority of everything came in today and I can't wait to get started on putting it all on! Maybe I can keep up with some of you this year, I'll take all the help I can get! What all did I get you ask? Why...let me show you! What could this be?! Pretty sure I know what this is! And voila! Total List: Leo Vince SBK Factory EVOII Full Exhaust-Carbon BMC Race Air Filter Vortex Front Sprocket (15T)(-1) Vortex Black Rear Sprocket (43, 44)(+1.+2) Speigler SS Brake Lines-Front/Rear(Black/Titanium) Michelin Power One 120/70 "B" Front Michelin Power Race-180/55 PRE Rear Moto-R Left Case Cover Woodcraft(SS) Right Case Cover DID 520 ERV3 Chain Vesrah RJL Pads PAIR Block-Off Plates Spare OE Front Seat And still on the way are: Chicken Hawk Std Tire Warmers Exhaust Gaskets Power Commander 3 USB Vortex Black 2009 Rearset To be bought in Feb & installed and set by Reuben at 35 Motorsports Penske 8983 Double Adjustable Shock Ak20 Kit or Gp Suspension 20mm Kit Front
  8. I actually went back and watched the full episode on this. It was all pretty good!
  9. Lol, I have a Corp version of Xp sp2 and Vista that I have used for a while now. Xp with the last WGA change tossed it though...sigh. But a simple fix got a it back up and running. I need to just upgrade to Windows 7 since its like $39.99 with a .edu email addy.
  10. There are a lot of side programs and etc out there. But if you’re using a "/cough .iso" version of windows. Make sure you don't download the WGA/Windows Genuine Advantage stuff and your fine. Had someone do that and invalidate their version of XP. I fixed it, but just sayin.
  11. My revised version with trackdays inluded! 2/5-2/7-Tally-??-rs 3/19-3/22-VIR-rs 4/23-4/26-Nashville 4/30-5/3-Barber 5/14-5/16-Gratton 6/7-6/8-Mid Ohio -Trackday 6/24-6/28-Road ATL 7/9-7/14-Mid Ohio 7/19/7/20-Mid Ohio Trackday 8/4-8/8-VIR. 9/6-9/7-Mid Ohio Trackday
  12. Yeah, cleaning might be an understatement. Trailer got most of it, but the bike has some salt to get sparyed off. Though, not sure how to do that just yet as it will all turn into an ice brick if I did it now Check your PM's.
  13. So I made my way up to MPHOhio today and had the bike measured and fixed. Unfortunately there was more wrong then I had hoped, but Doug Duane got it all fixed up for me. He was very helpful and explaining how and what was wrong, and how it would affect the bike. I also asked a few more questions about things I wanted to do to it and he gave me more guidance on what I really needed and where to go. Overall I give him a 10/10 and recommend him if you need your bike fixed up. Total time for measurement was 20min, and 3.5hrs to get it all straightened up. Also, the guy that originally owned the bike had wrecked it and attempted to fix it. Thus, not knowing wtf he was doing, put in the race bearings in upside down But Doug quicky found this and fixed it all for me without issue. Heres how bad it was out of tolerance/bent And heres the fixed printout.
  14. Aye, hope things get better for ya! Want to get started on this set of plastics, so let me know when I can drop them and $$ off for it!
  15. Interesting. I might look into getting one of these. What about burning inside the closed area though and build up of carbon monoxide. I'd really rather not passout working on the bike As a last resort, I could get my parents 20yr old electric heater....but that would take ages to get any warmth in the garage.
  16. I had a mental vision of some trailer going down the highway when the wheel comes off and sparks start flying everywhere while the drive is unloading into his pants watching it go to hell. But seriously, those all good points. My addition to this would be to make sure the axles are properly greased so its running smooth.
  17. I would probably go Arata, Arrow, Akro in the grand scheme of things. Problem is that last i knew, Arata Japan stopped all contact with USA and no one has been able to get systems in for a while. Which is why I went Arrow on my 1krr in the beginning of 2009 after waiting for 2 months for an Arata. I'm not really fond of the oval or big can(trapizoid) on the Arata now days either. With the Akro, its alright..but not my visual taste or sound either. Just for a testing also, my arrow gp system was just behind(.5hp) a full akro system with more mods(air box/intake) done to it. But as with everything, everyone has personal pref. We all get what we feel is best.
  18. Thanks yota, I saw them mentioned here and gave them a call. Was easy talking too them and describing everything. They told me to take off some parts (exhaust radiator) to save some $$. Which was easy enough as I wanted to anyways...well not the radiator, but o-well. Now to get this done and fixed and find a new exhaust for it. Thinking another arrow and selling that Leo SO.
  19. Have read most of this, I am still in the air on what to buy to heat my garage(380ish sq/ft) Between electric or propane. I was hesitant in using gas as it would closed inside and no real ventilation other then minor spots in the garage door.
  20. They didn't shoot themselves in the foot....too many times Was the key.
  21. So after having got the new track bike, I started the tear down and today. Taking it to MPHOhio on the 4th to make sure everythings straight as its a rebuild salvage title and the front tire seems slightly to the left. Then doing upgrades. Heres the pic from base to current! Coming home Off come the plastics, radiator and exhaust Header ports, desperately need cleaned. And finally, the off parts accounted for So with the header picture, what would be my best option for cleaning the rust buildup and small debris etc out of there safely? I was thinking dipping a toothbrush into WD40 or maybe carb cleaner and going over it and using a cloth to wipe it clean. Thoughts?
