  1. I might be going to do Gratton on Saturday (Race), then Gingerman on Sunday for this. I have a two rail trailer if someone wants to chip in on gas and wants to do both of these events or wants to wait out Saturday with me. Let me now. Leave late Thurs or early Friday Race Saturday @Gratton STT Sunday @Gingerman and back home.
  2. +1 to what Brian said. He had like 10 bikes at his place Monday and several motors out. I don't see how he has anytime for himself! But he did an excellent job on my bike and in quick order
  3. Nod, my race bike looked trashed when I got it to Ruebens. But man did he clean it up and get all the suspension installed!
  4. If you guys go out, make sure you spray and wash off the salt and crap. It will eat up the aluminum on your bike.
  5. Took mine out the other day for a warm up and back to make sure it would still run. I still expect to have snow on Easter....again.
  6. The best way I can put it is, it should fit like a second set of skin. It will stretch a little yes. I'm 6'2" 220ish and wear a 58 Euro/48US. I wear a Knox Ageis Spine Protector and have no issues at all with the suit and it. You don't want baggy at all or it will flap in the wind and be a major disctraction. It should fit snug to your body, but not circulation restricting. And depending on which suits you were trying on, do research on the exact suit you would wear/are going to buy. I got a Astar Trigger suit, which goes a size big...so its a 56 for me. Just make sure you know what your getting and the sizes it goes.
  7. Thanks for the hookup on everything Monte! 2-Power One "V" Fronts 2-Power Race PRD Rears 1 set-Power One "B" Front & Rear 1 set-Pilot Race Rain
  8. And check the WERA section for stuff: http://forums.13x.com/forumdisplay.php?f=56
  9. Just over 6 hrs North according to Google. Depending on pit-stops and how fast you drive maybe quicker!
  10. Anyone have suggestions on places to stay up in the Gingerman/Gratton area? Will be up there and need a place to stay for Saturday night. I'll do the standard search/review...but thought I would see if anyones been up there for suggestions.

    Busted!

I got it on my third attempt. Using this laptop its not the fastests for mouse movement.
  12. Nod, I have a 700 and love it. The 400 is nice for a low end, but when it came to my head and tracks times...I want something thats good fitting and solid.
  13. Its a sportbike primarily. But KTM's are on the tracks so it varies. I'll let Brian or Monte make the call on whats usable. As for doing it as something new. I would recommend anyone that can do it....DO IT. I learned a LOT more then I feel would have on the street alone. And you don't have to worry about all that debris in the road, that animal that jumps out in front of you etc. The biggest thing you need is equipment. (Full Suit, Boots, Gloves and a good helmet) And all that combined can get pricey to say the least.
  14. Registered also, went with "I" group though as its a new track and will have been racing on Sat probably and want a more relaxed day.
  15. I looked at the trade deal with the PRD and its still $269 and don't see the option for the "V" front. Maybe its a comments deal?
  16. Yeah, that school might as well start asking how many zero's they want on their check....
  17. Figures this is the same race weekend as Gratton Maybe I can race on Satuday and then Trackday on Sunday. Now I have to figure out what I want to do....
  18. I am in Beta on it, and its alright. Still needs some work.
  19. I left for Reubens today anyways at 10am. It was fine down 70West until I got to the Indy border. Saw a 5 car accident, two rollovers and a few more accidents...but the roads were ok. On the return trip...holy S*$%....They were completely covered with no markings what so ever. Saw a lot of people sliding off the road that had no clue how to drive. I just had it in 4High and plunged down the road without issues. WITH a trailer in tow! 65-72mph in a completely covered road at night is fun by yourself Franklin should be a level 2, but probably a 3. Too bad the sheriff is more worried about reelection then public safety and will never call a lvl 3 emergency.
  20. This makes me sad and annoyed! We got the current amount on Tuesday when I scheduled and got the bike Dyno Tuned and it was a pita to drive through at times. I was scheduled to take it out to Reuben at 35 motorsports tomorrow and now this comes! WTF is a guy suppose to do when hes trying to get things done!
  21. I'd love to find a guy with Power One Race Tires other then trackside Or the # for that guy on that price!
  22. I would also like to point out that many manufacture's are forcing places to post retail prices on their website. (A-Star, Arrow, etc) I recommend calling him to get the best price or if he does the same here as a sponsor, register and he updates your account with the discount added in.
