  1. And your grade would be an F.
  2. Pick one up for me too. I'm good for it.
  3. Summit's a fun track. I had my share of troubles the last time I was there. Geometry issues with the 190 rear on the 600 gave me fits on the front straight. Enjoyed it though. Nice video.
  4. Nice gesture, Chevy, but the dude's a broke OSU student. He'd spend whatever he makes driving back and forth from C-bus to Euclid every day. Guess he's still screwed.
  5. Personally, the D&D stuff always sounded shitty to me. LOUD and buzzy. Seems like nothing has changed.
  6. Only ONE piece of Ti? If its not the frame, you're slipping dude. Has anyone offered you a boat (that has a small leak), an engagement ring, or an old Vespa Scooter yet? If not, you haven't had your ad up long enough. If I were in the market for a track day toy, I'd jump on this in a heartbeat. Greg takes great care of his stuff - no lie. Welcome to the board.
  7. I'd say Dilbert didn't get "it". Of course, that depends on what your definition of "it" is.
  8. Then I'm going to vouch for this bike. Greg keeps his shit in A1 condition. Be a good platform for a trackday bike too.
  9. Is this the same "Greg" that bought the Duke from you?
  10. You wouldn't be sad if you were a share holder. Saying the engineers are turning out a low quality part or system because they don't build bikes that appeal to a narrow market is bullshit. Often times an engineer's JOB is to reduce cost through a more efficient part design or streamlining the assembly/manufacturing process. If I were a Honda Engineer, I'd tell you to go fuck yourself.
  11. Most large companies (like Honda, Suzuki, etc.) exist for one purpose only - to make money for the shareholders. Building "one off", high end, hand assembled enthusiast pieces, while VERY nice and highly desirable, doesn't pay the bills. There are companies that still do that (NCR comes to mind) but the cost of entry is wayyyyy high. You'll never see the Japanese motorcycle companies build anything like the old RC-30's any time soon because there's not nearly enough money in it.
  12. I'm pretty sure that if Honda could still make money building bikes like that they'd be a lot more "passionate" about the whole thing. Cool video though.
  13. Whatever floats your boat. Explain it to me - what makes them better? 3 to 4 times the cost per year and its worth it? It'd have to suck my cock on a daily basis for me to spend that kind of coin on one.
  14. Not hating, I just don't understand why people pay soooo much more for them. Ok. I'm reasonably confident that I could sell my shitty pc notebook for $200 - I see them on CL and Ebay for around that money all the time. So lets look at the math: PC $400.00 (original purchase price - Brand new) $200.00 (estimated resale) $200.00 (net cost) $40.00 (cost per year at 5 years) Mac $1,000.00 (Original purchase price, minus your discount - 2 years old) $750.00 (reported resale) $250.00 (net cost) $125.00 (cost per year) Based on resale, your used mac cost 3x more than my brand new pc over the time we each had them. Fuck, I could throw this pc away today and it still cost less per year to use than your mac.
  15. So, how long did you have this used mac? I'm pretty sure my cost per year is less with the pc than the mac.
  16. So how much money do you have tied up in the mac's? The post was in reference to Natedogg's assertion that you'd spend MORE on a PC over time than you would on a mac. I'm still calling bullshit.
  17. You needed to be in the macbook for sale thread. Then you would have gotten it. Not that I'd give a fuck anyway. I'm sure I'm not missed (even a little bit) on that other board either. Such is life.
  18. Ok kid. How old is the Mac you have now? Will you still be using it when its 10 years old? For the record, I have 10+ year old PC's at the shop that we're STILL using.
  19. If you had a mac instead of that shiddy windows pc, you wouldn't have to worry about beer in your keyboard.
  20. I'll disagree with you on that one. I've got a notebook with a 15.4" screen that I paid around $400.00 for nearly 5 years ago. Never had a virus (I don't surf porn sites or open odball emails), it runs all the software I need to use flawlessly. Other than having to reformat the hard drive a year and a half ago its been completely trouble free (knock on wood). If this one takes a shit tomorrow, I'll buy another $400 windows machine that could last me another 4-5 years. 10 years worth of computing with pc's for the same price as a mac with a smaller screen - not too shabby in my book. How many of you guys sucking the mac pipe are using 10 year old machines? My guess is ZERO.
  21. He already said he's got way too much of a life to be on here all the time. He's probably rearranging the futon in his mom's basement.
