    Buy my 600!

Wow... I'm surprised you had no answer for him. Do you hold his dick while he takes a piss too?
  2. Welcome! I'm in the Cleveland area - for now... Moving back to the Akron area in three weeks!
  3. Well, its in my garage...rode it home tonight. By the time I got home it was too dark for pics, so those will come later. First impressions? Its like going from driving a sports car to driving a monster truck. You really sit up HIGH on these bikes. I'm sure people who still spend a lot of time riding dirt bikes wouldnt notice it as much though. Riding it is a hoot...it lofts the front wheel in first and second with no questions asked. Third is pretty easy too, just slide back on that long seat a little, and give the bars a little tug It is a little buzzy, but I expected that. It also feels extremely narrow and light - almost like riding a bicycle. Surprisingly, the single front rotor provides PLENTY of stopping power - stoppies are no problem at all. Actually, the first one (not a very big one) happened totally by accident. I didnt get to really push any cornering limits, or see what it could do in that respect. There really arent any good roads for that up here anyway. With any luck I'll get a chance to see what it does with that this weekend. Thats the initial report....more to follow after I've had the chance to REALLY ride it

Thanks, but I've never really been a fan of the green bikes, even though my very first bike ever was a Kawasaki KE100...wayyyyyyyyy back in the day (probably before you were born) Besides, I already got something new... http://www.ohio-riders.net/showthread.php?t=13453
  5. I dunno if you'd be fine on this one. I wear 36" inseam jeans, and it was all I could do to get both feet flat on the ground. You could probably get training wheels though....
  6. No, Ducati has the Hyper-Motard. Its a big twin version, like 1000cc or something. WAYYYYYY expensive. This is a 625cc Single...it actually has a kickstarter, but I dont EVER want to try to kick it....
  7. I dont really know. I'd check with the BMV. Actually, I'm surprised that the bank doesn't want it back.
  8. Its possible that you may be able to file a mechanics lien against the vehicle. If you can, and the amount he "owes" you is greater than what the bank is willing to pay, they will most likely not answer the lien and when a certain amount of time passes you can apply to the state and get a title for it. We did it a few times at the shop when guys wouldn't pay their bills. There are a bunch of "rules" you have to follow, but if you do it all works out in the end. I'd say check with the BMV and see what you can do.
  9. I kinda doubt that I'll be able to make it down on the 21st anyway - in the process of moving, and I'm just wayyyy too busy with work to blow out a day during the week. July is possible but I'll have to see what's going on then. I ran into Jerry about two weeks ago - I was in his neighborhood, and he had ALL his bikes in the driveway. I stopped and we bs'ed for a while but he never said anything about leaving C-A. I'll have to give him a call - I want a black SM fender for the Duke anyway.
  10. Thats part of the reason I bought it. I wanted a motard, but everything I was running into was more race oriented than street - small displacement, or HIGH maintenance. The Duke is more street oriented than most, and the maintenance intervals are longer which suits me better. I like carving up the twisties - I've dont enough 120+ blasts through the straights, so I'm guessing that this bike should do a good job scratching my itch... Thanks for the comments everyone...
  11. I'm expecting to have a lot of fun on it...time will tell. The orange is pretty cool - its not the typical KTM Mx orange (since the Duke's have painted plastics). Its got a nice flake to it. I'll post some pics after I pick it up.
  12. I rode it *briefly* today - only because the guy that I bought it from was a former customer from my MPH days, and it was kida shitty up here. I like it MUCH better than the DRZ I hopped on a couple of weeks ago, and it seems to have a lot more power too. I'll hopefully pick it up tomorrow...I'll let you know about the license thing. By the way...what's the KTM days at Mid Ohio all about?
  13. Thanks... I'll let you know after I pick it up - hopefully tomorrow!
  14. Are you gonna change it back when the cast comes off?
  15. Thanks! Hopefully, I'll have some time to ride it
  16. Thats some funny stuff right there.... Was it the HD guys vs. the squids or what?
  17. Got rid of the GSX-R this week, and picked up something new today - a KTM Duke II Pretty much stock, except for the Akropovic cans and KTM Y pipe. Anyone on here have any experience with bikes like this?

Apparently YOU care. Otherwise, you wouldn't have posted here. Have a nice day...
  19. Where did you go? Thompson?
  20. I thought the sportbike guys were gonna fight the metric cruiser guys. Harley guys get to fight the winners..... I'd pay $30 to see THAT....

    Buy my 600!

Bike is SOLD! By the way, if Nick is reading this I'd like to let ya know that I got $5,000.00 for it.
  22. Miniscule damage to the frame?? Are you stoned? The front wheel is in the radiator for chrissakes....lol, and its NOT the forks. Today's upside down forks will bend a little, but not that much. I worked at a shop that specialized in straightening bent bikes. A lot of the bent ZX6's we saw ended up having seriously egg shaped bearing races and were unrepairable. My guess is you're probably looking at under $1000.00 to straighten it. If you can't get it for under $2000.00 you're wasting your time.
  23. Good deal. Let me know when you get it.
  24. Here you go: http://www.ohio-riders.net/showthread.php?t=8891 AND its in Akron
