  1. I wasn't joking. In fact, I think I read it out of one of those article those families submit to the NEWSPAPER. So, I wasn't the only one to read it.
  2. ::rabble rabble rabble:: I challenge you to all aspects of life. Nah, I'm done. Credit where credit is due and all that. Power adders aside. I'm an American power fanboy, you like Nissans. That's just how it is.
  3. What John said... 32" is for the ultra-poor, I'm lower-middle. B*tch. I've been buying/wearing steel-toed boots for the last 3 or 4 years, and if it were my own money, I really liked the Sears brand (but I think they've discontinued the boots I liked) and I liked the pair of Dickies I got off amazon.com. Then again, I'm a penny-pincher, so I've never had the pleasure of wearing something like Timbs. I like the Wolverines boots I have now, but I didn't pay for them.
  4. You mean they didn't request a 42" Visio LCD like some of the impoverished families up here do?
  5. What do you think Nitrous does? Nitrous is NOT a fuel, it's an oxidizer. Fuel, or more accurately the capacity to supply it, in a Nitrous application is just as important as a turbo/supercharger app. In fact, some would argue even more-so in a Nitrous application. Sh*t can go wrong real quick at the molecular level when using a oxidizing agent rather than an air compressor on top of another air compressor.
  6. Your choice I suppose on not running a piggy-back fuel system to support nitrous... not what I'd do, but that's your call. Cooler charge, more oxygen + same amount of fuel = not a good time for metal bits. Of course now you're getting into different types of nitrous systems (wet vs. dry) and how to meter each of them properly.
  7. I'm sooo gonna troll this thread on my day off tomorrow.
  8. Maybe... but it's not apples to apples. You'd need to find a turbo VQ or I'd need to find a nitrous 3.8L to get apples to apples. Plus, the GP has more than a couple tenths on the VQ. Injectors... I don't know if they're upgraded or not, but you'd have to do the same thing for nitrous.
  9. Are we? You posted the 10s VQ -- on cheater juice. And then I said 'dollar for dollar' GM 3.8L > 3.0 VQ to get to 10seconds. I thought we weren't talking stock rides anymore Edit: fixed per ------v Don's post.
  10. You're right -- they'll dip into the 9s Not even gutted - http://www.myspace.com/video/vid/1044259
  11. ^^^^----- Thats sad if that really is the worlds fastest VQ. My Hayabusa runs quicker AND faster than that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vxz2rQDMbRY&feature=related And that's not even the fastest one... that's just the first 8 second one I pulled up.
  12. Yes, it would be illegal to do what he did, per the story, technically. It's illegal to go from the muggee to the mugger. But, I guess that would really be up to a jury of your peers.
  13. I was more concerned about having to yell across the room for my wench to get me sammiches and beer during the commercials. I certainly should not have to compete for her attention over "Head On! Apply directly to the forehead!" unless they're talking about my penis and forehead is some new slang for mouth.
  14. Reqs: You must be enrolled in college and licensed to drive. Located in Herdon, VA Experience with $1.6M supercars a plus Via Jalopnik
  15. Sersly though, this and the "Live" section -- I typically leave that scrolling in the background all day long so I know when to pounce on n00bs or bewbz.
  16. If I just say HBD here, all my bases are covered. awesome. HBD ya hosers.
  17. I dunno what this guy does for a living No update on how the Ferrari is doing.
  18. JBot's birthday lives in infamy. Go figure.
