I think something is going on in Shawn's life that's troubling him. He's lashing out at people (me particularly), which is a sign of depression. http://www.helpguide.org/mental/living_depressed_person.htm Maybe we should make a conscientious effort to derail this thread and figure out what's really bothering Shawn. It's ok man, nothing that can't be 'hugged out' - you just have to help us, help you. The only way out, is through.

I'll need to get a tally for him when the event nears because the last few events I've attended were probably between 40-50 people... basically close friends/coworkers and their families. He just started this charity less than a year ago, and while the turn out is growing, it's not super huge YET. There were a few doggie bags worth of leftover food from the Christmas party... so I assume he's trying to get an accurate count for food to better 'right-size' the amount. He should have an idea for the people who pre-register, but I'll give him a courtesy headsup on the potentials showing up the 'day of'. Still months away... I wish it were at least May by now.

If you guys want to ride up, great!! I really wasn't expecting any "non-locals" to show. Nonetheless, I'm sure Jason would appreciate it.

Jason was pretty pumped today when I told him all the support he's getting from the OR crowd. He appreciates it.

She's going to have trouble talking her way out of that one. Bad joke maybe? Didn't sound like it from her speech text. Even with that horrible advice, I don't think that that, the lamest of pleas, will actually sway anyone from reading the bill and deciding their political course of action. I'm more worried about what concessions were made and to whom. But, I'll wait and see what the rest of the MSM have to say about it in the morning...
