  1. Lorain County Sheriffs called on Friday (9/11) which was about 3 weeks after my g/f and I scheduled our appts to get our applications processed. We finally went in today (I took a 1/2 day off this afternoon). Took about an hour for us to wait both our turns and get our IDs. So, we're both CCW holders now. The overall review of the process for Lorain County is a 'meh' - I'd give it a 'C' for average. I was not impressed nor appalled at the process from this county.
  2. That was good. You guys see the Mario one?

  4. That guy made it back to Indiana by now, I'm sure.

Yea, Choc. Charlie is still going on UGNO apparently.
  6. Check the original thread.
  7. lulz. I do like the yellow/black combo though. Worst case, attackpainter could make me a copper one. If I wasn't saving for another car, I'd have a '08 CBR1000RR as my liter bike. I'm still missing the liter bike from my starter collection.
  8. ^--- +1 I've been offered the same deal from my local Honda rep

I think DHMO is an ingredient in Jenkem!
  10. Something does need to be done... either make the illegals leave, or legalize them. They shouldn't be in this sort of state of limbo. I don't see too many gray areas in immigration - either you're NOT here, you're here to visit, or you're here as a citizen.

Someone was huffing this on the radio this morning as a stunt/skit for Metallica tix. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jenkem Whether or not it's really a 'drug' that school kids are doing with 'hallucinogenic' properties remains to be seen, but if the skit really happened, it was still pretty nasty. http://www.snopes.com/crime/warnings/jenkem.asp
  12. As long as you live to ride another day, I'd call it a win.
  13. My suspicions have been confirmed. This is the only thread on ORDN with the word "furby" in it. That is all. You guys have fun with your trackdays and stitches.
  14. Ohh yea, and lest we forget the guy that went down on a 1990 CBR1000F. Just picture a n00b guy (probably late 40s, n00b) popping the clutch over and over, the bike bucking like a bronco, then eventually throwing him off and skidding down the track on it's right side fairings. For those wondering - No, he didn't last the full 8 seconds. That's probably the first and only time I'll ever witness a guy dump a bike off the start on the dragstrip. I knew it was going to be a rough night for him when I stopped to talk with him (since I used to have my '87 Hurricane) and he says, "Wow, when I pulled up last round I didn't realize how hard it was [to race, launch, shift, go in a straight line]". He just got the bike and it was his first time to the strip. He didn't really have the type of personality to be on a bike.

  16. You missed what I was going for... Handful, as in you had your hands full of their virgin parts.
  17. I think ya'll scared the n00bz off from riding Coshocton. Srsly though, Coshocton is an awesome area of Ohio to ride, but hookup with the local-yokels (Parks, Burgundy, 1000rrrider, not to mention a few others who haven't posted up in this thread) before you go down there and aimlessly try to pitch yourself off into a field. The Coshocton boyz know the roads well and do a good job making sure no one gets left behind no matter what your pace (right Mj? ). Not to mention a few of them are big ol' farmbillies - that'll come in handy if you do have to lift your bike out of a pasture or ditch. Just make sure you plan it with them - you'll have a great time as long as you check your ego at the door.
  18. But... you haven't blown me.

  19. I'm not stingy with rep. You just need to post something rep worthy... :p

  20. Nice pics Kosmo... shitty cellphone or not. Still disappointed we didn't get one of all three of the bikes.
  21. Beginners in Coshocton. I dunno what's over on the east side, but if you're just looking for a slow scenic cruise you can't beat the Metroparks. I guess it depends on what the goal of the ride is? Familiarize yourselves with the bikes at slow speeds? - Metroparks. Or, do you want to try to ride to test your limits and see how the healthcare and auto insurance industries work? -Coshocton without someone leading you.
  22. Kev's best run of the evening 10.76 My best run of the evening 10.36. So, that would be a no.
  23. I like where this thread is going.... ... straight to fail.
  24. Dude, you can't cross contaminate the "pools".
