I was 100% fine with the pace. Like Pauly said, it wasn't "shit your pants" fast, but I wasn't bored either.

Pauly was definitely braking more on the ride home than you were on the way down, but the route wasn't identical either. So, I'd call it a wash. Personally, I find myself riding more like Pauly's riding style than yours. But regardless, all braking (front/rear/engine or otherwise) should be done prior to entering the turn on the street. I caught myself kissing the rear brakes midturn to keep from running up on you Mike, but that was my fault for not leaving enough space. I'm sure your engine braking isn't the same as mine and there's a lot of variation there going into and out of the turns.

That's why GM is going under, they've got all the engineers designing expensive surveillance equipment in all their vehicles that they're not charging you for so everything stays hush-hush. Or maybe it's all subsidized by the gov't, and they're ONLY in bed with GM because they know that only people that buy new or used GM vehicles are POIs for the gov't. Maybe... but like I said, it'll depend on the bike. If I'm on the SV, I can ride upfront/midpack if req'd. If I'm on the Hayabusa, I can lead/sweep the slow- or slower-intermediate group if req'd. I'm not near as comfortable at speed on the Hayabusa.

If you two are getting a mini-group together at the typical meetspot at Circle K, I'll go there instead of slabbing 480 to 77... still dunno if I'm bringing the 'busa or the SV. Inya, feel free to txt if that's your plan. Why bother? He won't be with the "group" for long anyway

He'll be fine on horsepower and powerband when it's pushing a hulking heavy bike like a vrod... it's the handling a huge heavy bike with long rake and wheelbase that would be the larger concern.

Yep, my truck has one too. It's for the people baller enough to have a rearview cam, but not baller enough to get a nav screen where the image would normally be displayed... so you get like a 2" by 1.5" image in the mirror. The camera itself is in the tailgate handle/latch. And when the camera's not in use, it looks just like a regular mirror. Kinda like how the sideview mirrors have the turn signals built into them...

I see McGuiness is there, but for those more in the know than me... what is the class structure? Anyone have a 5 sec synopsis of what the differences are between SST, EWC, and OPEN?

I'm kinda sorta penciling this in... slab it across 480 and down 77 to meet @ the Broadview Hgts BP. I still dunno which bike I'll be on, but either way, it'll be copper.
