  1. Not too far off, but it's a private seller (I have to trade in a vehicle), and it's black. I want red.
  2. LoL. Ikr? I'm looking at around $15k for a truck. Might go just a smidge higher for the right truck. Also, I have a trade, so I can't get something from a private seller unless they wanted to trade for my exact vehicle, which is highly unlikely. I sent a message to Jordan this morning hoping he can help me.
  3. Man, I really loved the 454 SS and even had a model of it on my dresser when I was a kid. I really wanted that truck someday. But, I am now speaking of the newer Silverado SS. I found this one yesterday that I'm interested in: http://images.autotrader.com/scaler/544/408/images/2015/12/22/417/976/42882225900.417976750.IM1.MAIN.565x421_A.562x421.jpg
  4. Those are a bit above my price point. Plus, I'm digging the Silverado SS over anything else as of now.
  5. The lightning I had my eye on has sold. So after some suggestions here, I have started researching the Silverado SS and I think this is going to be a better option. So, anything I need to watch out for on the SS? Stay away from certain years, what issues to look for, etc? I currently have my eye on one that is 100 miles away. I want to ask a lot of questions before I make that trip.
  6. Meh, that truck doesn't do anything for me.
  7. Ok, so a couple others I could look at... Silverado SS SRT Ram
  8. That would be a good option, but I refuse to get another black vehicle.
  9. Gas. LoL. I want an older truck. I don't tow anything.
  10. Yeah, the fact that it's a regular cab is probably my biggest dislike for the truck, but I could get past it, I think. I had a regular cab Dodge Ram several years ago and did ok. I have a net and cargo bar to put in the bed if I need to haul smaller stuff. I drive a total of like 25 miles a day on average between home and both jobs. Gas isn't too terribly expensive, for now anyway.
  11. Yay or Nay? I am planning on checking out a Lightning toward the end of this week. If I was to acquire it, this would be replacing my current car, and become my dd. I'm thinking that as long as I have appropriate treads on the truck for the weather, I should be good year-round, right? I mean, I had a 96 Formula for a couple years that I dd'd and never had any issues. So, why couldn't I be able to do this same with this? Thoughts? Suggestions? My reasoning behind getting a Lightning is that I need a truck, and I miss having a fast (to me) toy. This would meet both needs in 1 vehicle. If a Lightning is not a good idea, what other vehicles should I look at?
  12. Nope. Just stating that they can say they are doing this and that, but you can't sit there and say they are, if you are not in the store monitoring it yourself.
  13. I rarely do anyway. My health is more important than shitty fast food.
  14. Are you in each store making sure they are doing this? Probably not. I'll continue to refrain from eating there.
  15. She's not working. She has a kid to take care of. I'm just biting the bullet and purchasing a one-way ticket there, then using airline miles to come pay for the flight back. Seeing my grandpa is more important than money.
  16. I hate driving or else I'd do it. If I had a companion to switch driving with, then I could do it. Like I said, it's a long shot, but figured with as many people on the board and it seems like someone is always heading that direction, it wouldn't hurt to ask.
  17. I know it's a long shot and a member did just recently head down there, but is anyone on here by chance driving to Texas this weekend? LoL. I figured the chances are slim, but it's an emergency and just trying to figure the cheapest way to get there quickly. Flying on short notice is not cheap by any means.
  18. There is another story of recent about a dog who was shot 18 times with a bb gun and is still alive. This shit is getting out of hand.
  19. There's a guy on here that lives in Lancaster that does awesome carpet repair, stretching, etc. His name is Justin. He goes by 'truckin' on here.
  20. The windows in my house were replaced approximately 15 years ago with vinyl. Is it too soon to be having them replaced again? Since mine were already replaced, will they have to replace the frame again or can they just replace windows? Anyone know?
  21. Side question... Who did you go with for windows and what kind of windows are you getting? I need to start getting quotes for my house. Thanks! Personally, I wouldn't go with Lowe's or HD. It will be hit or miss with the contractors they choose. They go with the lowest bid from contractors. Remember, you get what you pay for. Other than that piece of advise, I have no clue who to refer you to.

Thank god for this thread. I now look forward to coming to work. I am enjoying the stories, especially since I used to be that guy that would bang anything with a pussy, titties, and a heartbeat.... heartbeat optional. LoL. Now, I'm just miserably married.
