  1. One more thing. Haven't seen it being mentioned on here yet, but it's a fucking joke how Trump tweeted about mental health after the shooting, when you'll find his signature on the piece of paper that repeals an Obama bill to make it harder for the mentally ill to obtain firearms https://www.snopes.com/trump-sign-bill-revoking-obama-era-gun-checks-people-mental-illnesses/
  2. Gotta love it. Assault rifle and semi-automatic are the 2 buzz words that people who don't know what it means like to bring up. Throw in clips when they meant magazine and you have a complete trifecta of you don't know wtf you're talking about. One thing that I find interesting in this last shooting is the fact that he purchased the rifle legally, but if he went next door to try to buy some Natty light...DENIED. I know it kind of sounds cliche, but we as a country seem to think that someone under 21 isn't mentally and physically mature/responsible enough to be given the power to purchase a beverage that makes you feel funny if you consume enough, but we feel perfectly fine with them purchasing a tool that can kill others or themselves. Now I understand the history there, we want our sons to be able to arm themselves against tyranny and whatnot, but time's have changed. The US has a military now who will defend against foreign armies. What about being able to protect and defend yourself from others in everyday situations? Well, as some like to say that school shootings are so rare, the same can be said for the actual chance that you will be in a situation where you will need to defend yourself. FYI, I own firearms and have my CCL, I enjoy them very much but they should not be accessible to the irresponsible, unstable and dumb. It's waaayyy too easy here to get 1) A driver's license and 2) Firearms. It's waayyyy to difficult to just have a fucking beer. Perhaps if the kid could have gone to the bar and get a buzz, he wouldn't be shooting up a school...probably not though That's muh rant, for now.
  3. I don't know if you guys can see this image, I'm linking it from Google Photos. Random shot while driving through Pittsburgh and stopping at the old Heinz factory.
  4. If American kids weren't such a bunch of self righteous, disrespectful, do-whatever-I-want cunts, I bet we'd see a lot less shootings. Thanks parents.
  5. Perhaps we can start with the head swamp monster. The creature from the orange lagoon.
  6. All the more reason to get a sporty wagon. Take out the trash while putting down some sick ET times. Not sure what S4 wagon prices are nowadays compared to a CTS-V wagon, but you'll get quattro so you won't get stuck in the mud/snow. Just saying. New trucks are nice and all, but I miss the old days where trucks were still trucks. Like if there's no risk of getting tetanus from opening up your tailgate, it's not a truck.
  7. Sounds like what I use my A5 for (JK, I managed to fit a 55" tv in the trunk once at Best Buy now all of a sudden it's a utility vehicle). But perhaps a nice sporty wagon can take care of your needs? Option 1 though for sure. or this
  8. Jesus Christ. I don't even want to know how much $ will be "missing" then.
  9. Chain migration... So when I became a citizen, one of the first things I did was to sign my sister up to get a green card so that she can come study here once she graduates high school and eventually work and live in the states where she has a fair chance at it. It will take 10+ years before she could become eligible for green card application, she will then still have to get an immigrant Visa, for which she will have to go do a bunch of medical tests and interview for. Once she is here, then she can start the green card process just like everyone else, which is a whole lot of other checks. Me, as citizen, chose her first-hand to come here Edit: Also, there is a limit to how many people get it per year. And countries with a lot of applications (like India and probably Somalia), it can take much longer to get selected.
  10. Crazy. I've lost my accent, which I wish I didn't...chicks dig it. My GF is always saying how she wishes she knew me when I still had it :fa:
  11. Just to be clear, I'm not saying the US should go border-less. Absolutely not! But blocking people just because they came from a certain continent/country/region is ridiculous.
  12. So the African-American thing has always pissed me off too. Where and how does he get treated differently by the black community? My experience has been mostly positive when a black american finds out I'm from SA and they usually want to learn more. There was one time, when some dumbass was trying to play the "you took over their land" shit...that was just an ignorant fool who doesn't know the history.
  13. Trump made a blanket statement of African countries. It's been little over a year since I've been there, but pretty sure it's still in Africa and it's still a country. So we only want people who are already well off? Well good fucking luck with that. People usually want to move somewhere better because they aren't well off, looking to do better. Plenty of examples of people who were or who's ancesters came here with pretty much jack shit and becoming successful and making contributions to the US and the world. Anyone who isn't a native American, for example. Speaking of S. Africa. This reminds me of the logic of some "native" South Africans who like to blame all their problems on Europeans coming to the country, and that they don't believe in "western" science and culture as they send a tweet on their mobile phone.
  14. I guess someone forgot to inform the Donald that Musk is from one of those shithole countries that now shows "American" ingenuity.
  15. It did get quiet in here. Here are my thoughts on what I know about the memo: The memo makes a bunch of allegations that I cannot have an opinion on whether they are true or not because I simply don't know. What it does sound like to me is that they are trying to discredit the FBI and the way they conducted the investigation of Russian interference in the election. Kind of like "The suspect was seen at the crime scene, his fingerprints are on the murder weapon, but the cop has been heard using the N-word before and dated the paperwork wrong so the suspect is free to go".
  16. So ugh...military parade eh? https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2018/02/07/583903933/trump-reportedly-wants-pentagon-to-stage-military-parade-down-pennsylvania-ave Curious to hear the thoughts of the Trumperinos are on this one. More government = bad. Government display of power = good.
  17. Here's the whole list for you. https://www.factcheck.org/2018/01/factchecking-trumps-state-union/
  18. In for $1million bitcoin by 2020
  19. I think that 99% of the time he is deserving of the shit he gets. If the Yahoo homepage thing is true, then yeah, that's just silliness. It is Yahoo after-all Obama also did not destroy this nation Shit, I believe the reason that the Dems didn't clap was because Trump was trying to take credit for things the last administration accomplished.
