what would you guys consider a reasonable amount of time to do a swap such as a lsx into a rx7. or 5.0 into something. what is considered a reasonable amount of time for a shop to do this?

many factors go into place... does said shop have all the parts needed an partial payment in?

givven the final ok on what needs to be done. ie what direction, what parts, setups ect?

if its a full custom job then it coudl take a while but if its jsut swapping out an existing motor an replacing with teh same then ide say not very long. but then again im not a mechanic

I just played it for about an hour. I like it a lot. Definitely stepping even closer to gran turismo territory.

 

I can also say the collisions, especially head-on, are waaaaaay more realistic .

amazing game...im pissed that theres only one track!!

 

easy mode is crazy easy, and expert mode is insanely hard...and you can customize each setting etc....its pretty cool...graphics kick ass, and i like that you cant just zip past every car easily like most racing games...you actually have to set up lines and plan stuff

 

i didnt play forza 2 for comparison...the only racing games ive played lately were need for speed most wanted, and need for speed pro street

Are you guys with the fast cars seriously not concerned about the prep at DW42? I would love to bring our car out for this but I'm just having a real hard time believing that DW42 is going to hold a car like ours (or the couple other of you guys that are running real fast).

 

I've been there a couple times and it was always a scary nightmare. Do they do something way above and beyond what they do for a Friday night prep to make you guys feel comfortable running there?

busher was racing there cars there last summer in the 9's at 150+ they seemed to do ok. the track hooks well for how hooptie it is. gets a little hairy at the 1k mark

im sure ray can chime in he ran a 9 second pass there a few weeks back

also when we went on july they prepped the 60 foot almost after every 20th pass. an then re sprayed to about the 660 af ew times as well

I quit this game. I quit building on all my streets and everything. If you're going to reset a game address all of the problems immediately and don't just do a 24hr reset just so the game can be up again.

This is another prime example of how the cops abuse their power and are unable to control the situation. Ever video like this comes down to the cops not handling their job properly. When they screw up peoples lives are in danger so should they be held to a higher standard, IMO, yes. But what happens, they get a slap on the wrist and their back out there doing it again. Not only should the officer who did this be reprimanded but the officers that let it happen should receive some sort of reprimand as well. The police are supposed to serve and protect the public. Not intimidate and force the public to do what they say. In a situation like this and others where the police over react it’s prime example how they are unable to do their job properly. And don’t give me that BS about them putting their life on the line. If they chose to do that then that’s the decisions they make on their own and I can respect that, but it’s not a pass to bully everyone else around.
