yes, buy the stuff where ever you want. newegg just has the easiest stuff to link to IMHO. I go to microcenter on bethel all the time and they have the usb to SATA/IDE adapters and they have hard drives.

There are so many IT geeks on this site it's ridiculous. If it was me. Put a fresh copy of windows on and then use the USB to IDE/sata adapter to copy files from failing drive to new drive. Of course there are many other ways of doing this as well. ....BTW, was the guy who said buy a mac serious? That was possibly one of the dumbest things I've seen posted in awhile. My Mac is currently dead due to a bad Hard drive FYI MAC fanboys.

The stuff is junk but it doesn't fall apart as quick as you'd think. It's a cost/benefit analysis thing. My favorite harbor freight purchase is an entire set of 3/4inch drive sockets from22mm to 46mm or something like that for $50. Seriously. Try to buy more than 1 socket for that at sears for that 3/4 inch drive, this shit is not breaking. I've even had a 4ft. cheater bar and the socket wrench. Anyway thats my 2 cents. I heart harbor freight.

Is anyone thinking about going to this? I may be looking for someone to go to Monticello with me in April if the weather looks good. I am getting scheduled to do training in NJ that week starting Tuesday. I won't lie, basically I'm looking for someone to trailer my bike home after the track day on Monday since I'll be going to a different part of NJ for the rest of the week. Worst case maybe the track people or STT will let me keep it somewhere for the week and pick it up on my way home. Anyway, if it works out logistically great, if not I'll see if I can still do it by myself. Might as well make the best of my company paying mileage to drive somewhere and being out of town for a week. The track actually looks really nice. On the helmet topic. I do agree you shouldn't skimp on protection something like your head. However I don't believe there is a direct correlation between the money you spend and the protection you get. Although, good fit and protection are the main aspect of the helmet, when you get into the higher priced helmet you are also paying a large premium for light weight and aero among other things like name brand. I ride a Shoe RF-1000 but from what I have read the scorpion helmets do just as good at keeping you out of the hospital. Having said that I banged my last RF-1000 on a concrete wall and was really impressed with the way the force was distributed. I had light bruising all around my head rather than 1 bad spot. No concussion either, although I think I was out for a few seconds. Having gone through that. I stuck with what I already know. a $330 helmet. Now, off the helmet subject. That looks like a fun time but wow nice wreck photos. Hate to be reminded how violent a crash can be.

Why would you have to have a pit bull stand. I just have a regular spooled stand but I don't see what one has to do with the other.

Yah, that may be better than tie downs but Pit Bull takes the win for sure. Plus that seems geared more towards lighter bikes like dirt bikes.

looks like you could go 3 wide in there with that restraint but probably only 2 wide with straps. That etrack looks great BTW, nice set up.
