  1. if not, there will be plenty more.
  2. chagrin river to johnnycake ridge.
  3. Couple of us meeting up at flying J thursday at 5:30... yes i realize bike nights are stupid, but it's fun to get out and BS with some friends.
  4. to be blunt, all of the 600's from the big 4 are going to be bulletproof for their designed purpose... i'd suggest going for the cheapest that he can find in bulk, the learning curve might get a little steep, and pricey.
  5. cool bike... now for towing the S.O. on a tour of the countryside to put in the stable, I'd suggest a shadow 750, super reliable, enough power/torque to tow 2 people around at highway speeds, and a great deal of aftermarket if you want to dress it up a little... Also, they are super cheap.
  6. I'm sick of all this military spending... wait if we elect either of the republican candidates it will just get worse... guess i'm stuck with obama....
  7. shouldn't it be 8 you're great? Perfect timing, On my way back to work after running home to grab my bike for lunch, I'm winding through the gears, and about 1/8 mile up the road on my right i see something odd, chop throttle squeeze brake, and I see a LEO scrambling to set up his radar... LOL must have heard me coming... awareness FTW!! he gave me the international sign language for "I'm watching you" and I gave it right back...
  8. here you go... buy 1000cc counterpart, put 600 decals/plastics on it, and this... http://www.faketurbo.com/ tell everyone how much time and money you spent turboing...
  9. this used to be me... I've been pretty fortunate lately (or *gasp* I've started to drive a little more responsibly:wtf:) I do think radar has a harder time picking up my bike, and I'm usually super aware and paying very close attention to my surroundings when on 2 wheels (I see cops before they radar me) now that I've said that I'm sure to get a couple tics this year...
  10. my first citation was "failure to control" exiting the road on my first motorcycle permit via a ditch, and launching myself into someone's front yard... road went left, kickstand told me i wasn't going left, i went straight... second citation was 68 in 55, so i had no license for 90 days...(stupid probationary license program)
  11. You can take my rhinoceros and hippopotamus when you pry them from my cold dead fingers! Honestly, I'm not an "animal" person... I could care less about how the "poor animals" are mistreated. (There are plenty of human beings being mistreated, once they are all treated with dignity and respect then we can worry about animals) From that viewpoint, I'm all for people's freedom to keep their animals however they want...so long as they have financial responsibility to cover any damages those animals might incur on other people.
  12. I've typically known the threshold to be the 8-9 mph, but we're splitting hairs here. Sucks, but you've probably gotten away with it quite a few times, too (and more). Pay the man, smile, and enjoy the ride home.
  13. what crap advice, right?
  14. I'll give you the same advice the last cop that pulled me over on my bike gave me..."you shoulda run, I wouldn't have bothered chasing you"
  15. lol, i seen that on there a lot, i keep flaging it, but he keeps posting.
  16. okay PREZ... can i be the secretary? I think tim should be master at arms...

    Break out Ride

THIS^^^ there are a LOT better routes, especially if most of your group are on sport bikes... i don't recall too many nice rds through kent, but once you hit chagrin falls, take the river road to wilson mills, to 6 to 166 to 528 to 307 to 534, then you're right into GOTL.
  19. you know me, and tim (conne-rot), I honestly cant think of any others either... which side of the pond are you on?
  20. found a pretty twisty route not too far from my house... the roads out here aren't ALL flat and boring.... some are actually kinda technical and fun... lots of blind corners in the bottoms of hills... south river road west in harpersfield.
  21. possible, did we take the route through thompson to the metroparks through hunting valley?
