If you went with the 48s (and you have "flat" feet), you may be okay. I'm running with a moderately high arch, so that leaves me with a little more room in the front of the boot. If push comes to shove, you can double-bag it with the socks:D. I'm just not sure if I'd go with the 49s.

I wear a size 13 sneaker (12 dress shoe), and BOTH pair of my A*s boots are 47s. I know that the size charts say that 47 = 12/12.5-ish, but after they're broken in, the fit is nice (and I sometimes wear thick-ish soccer socks under them with no problems).

The defense rests:D.

Buy tickets for EVERYONE that I've ever truly known (family, friends, co-workers) to meet me at and island destination (Dominican Republic, Grand Cayman, Ibiza). Literally buy out the resort, and proceed to party with my entire life (past and present) at one time. I'd even pay for them to keep partying for another week after I'm gone. They can then exchange stories on how I've enriched (or RUINED) their lives:D. I'd also pay for special effects so that when I die, my body just desintegrates as I walk toward the ocean, and the dust particles move fluidly toward the rising sun.
